Can you do a review of this sabretooth vs the Mondo and Marvel select versions? I like this version but it is still not the right size.
Fun fact. The Omega Red mold came out before the Apocalypse wave Sabretooth. It was the obvious mold choice, yet they went with the out dated Hyperion mold... Some food for thought.

Hyperion didn't have the shoulder blades articulation this is the Omega Red Buck the main is hiding the holes from the shoulder armor.🤷♂️

Wolverine is growing on me the more I look at him. Really like his proportions and how detailed the clothes are, and of course Sabretooth is wonderful. Beautiful sculpt. My first pre order/Marvel Legends purchase from BBTS. I’m excited
Those Sabertooth head sculpts could be a great base for an Eddie Brock changing to Venom head. With some modification of course

Great review again! Getting me very excited for this two pack. Sabretooth has been a huge gap in my collection, and thinking of using Wolverine in a New FF display.

I would have 100% definitely preferred this Jim Lee design Sabertooth as just a regular single release for $24.99 instead of a 2 pack, But to me, Both Sabertooth and Wolverine still look dope, Hopefully Hasbro can do a non 2 pack deluxe single re release of this very awesome Sabertooth figure, Great review David.

As much as I love this Sabretooth, I would have loved this Jim Lee version on a retooled Age of Apocalypse Sabretooth body. I like Sabretooth to be giant and menacing. The Omega Red Body is cool but not super Imposing like that other large body
I agree this body still isnt big enough and the aoa body would have been perfect but it is hasbro isnt it

Okay now we're gonna have long discussion XD
First of all for me this 2pack is ALMOST perfect. I'm not giving grades anymore but if I would...... 9,5/10 Just because sabertooth doesn't have fists instead of I think these are supposed to be more grabbing hands to choke Logan or holding his arm to pick him up since he's short. But he does have to punch him at some point not in the skull but in mouth or everywhere else like from the fight scene in X-Men the animated series from the same episode you used their dialogue from. Creed poured snow into Lagan's eyes and punched him in the stomach. And then he gave him a right hook and almost threw him off a cliff. Also, these muscles and this muscular build are also for a reason, even though his claws can cut through anything (even in the comics it is said that he can cut and crush bones, not to mention his jaws). His fists can cause serious damage like bruises and internal bleeding. Even if he almost broke his hand on logan's skull ......they could have made redcon at the same time and made him harder and made him more powerful than wolverine in terms of stamina, strength, agility and healing factor.
But coming to the figure THIS IS MY PERFECT picture for Saberooth, Perfect headsculpts, Angry, screaming rage head and spot on sadistic look and smile which really shows a lot what type of character Victor is. I don't mind pins in legs at least they are not brown and standing from the orange like the previous one in the elbows which was DISGUSTING, and normal The waist swivel doesn't bother me at all, as long as it provides articulation that's how it's supposed to be. If we got... something like King in black venom, Renew your vows spider-man, his costume would split and look unnatural. You definitely know what I'm talking about, and thanks to the swivel waist, nothing in the costume looks like a split. I think there is NOTHING what would make me replace this sabertooth with any other. Even if it was pinless or whatever, I wouldn't replace it because it meets PRACTICALLY all my expectations, even the orange color and the light brown suit my taste and the way it looked. And the mane on the back is a similar shade. And its entire scale is spot on for my taste. Not too big like Venom's bodymold king in black or Sabertooth's AoA, nor too small like the previous one from the apocalypse wave, not only was it too dark brown and too light orange, but also its mane was white or gray, which stood out quite a bit, but .......wasn't to my taste. THIS IS PERFECT.
And if it comes to LOGAN himself. This is spot on cowboy wolverine we have ever gotten. Cowboy hear brown and black, typical red shirt, rolled up sleeves, jeans and brown buits. Perfect wolverine claws, this card is a cool accessory and some relaxed hands. New heads which are good IMO. But another downside is we didn't get angry pissed off berserker wolverine since he is packed with his ARCH ENEMY. But I think we can swap these heads with.....the one from bonebreaker wave, amazon5pack, retro blue and gold uniform I think these must fit somehow. But coming to each head, the one with calm face in brown hat has a little shorter hair I see when on the other hand the one in black hat and this smirk has longer and messy hair, classic etc... so that's good at least. I didn't get the previous one so this is a very nice opportunity to me. And I think this version needed an upgrade since the previous one only had a cowboy hat, and black undershirt, basically motorcycle logan but repainted with new head and that's it. This one with a new torso with chest rotation adds much more to this one and red shirt is a very good choice. I'm happy I can add new Wolverine to a display and at the same time it can be civilian clothes version. And it's actually IMO the best of all we've got for now, the upgraded black suit one with lady mandarin is nice, The patch is fine and the brood one could be a good figure if that version of infected logan was dangerous like monster x-men should be hiding from and would be very hard to catch. but he only got infected one time and regenerated so this figure has no big purpose.
This logan and this sabertooth it's the ony instant buy for now so I'm still really waiting for more like:
- Upgraded brown suit,
- astonishing wolverine, this one is I WANT THE MOST.
- Villains like Gorgon, Ogun and Daken
- Battle damaged wolverine
- Adamantium skeleton wolverine would be DOPE when he got blown up by Nitro XD
- Team X
- Ultimate wolverine, black costume and yellow stripes, since they massacred one in the beginning of their career. That would be actuallt good 2pack with Ultimate Hulk when he ripped him in half.
- The ablation armor made by superior spider-man that one is DOPE
The reason for the smerk is those catds are a winning jand, yes its Logan in s bar chilling playing cards. And you have a screaming jead tyere you canbput that on it ir thres a lot of wolverines with screaming heads i think thats what they're thinking. It's still a good Logan and a great box set.

The poker hand would be the only reason I'd buy it. I'd love to make a poker game. I already have a jam session going on with Spider Punk, Lobo, DM Batman, skeleton dude from One Piece, and Mez-Crow all playing guitars (I need a drummer)

I like it how ever. I do wish he was a bit bigger. I would love to see him on the space venom build or the Calliban baf build. But he looks great just a really large head.

It always bothers me when companies give us essentially the same accessories for piece count in the box. They could have easily dropped the playing cards to plus up Wolverine's extra head into a snarling/aggressive head and dropped one of the pairs of claws with Sabertooth for some fists. Just mix things up a bit.

A smaller head on sabertooth would give him a little bit more movement and better head to body proportion. The big head makes his body look small.

All i see is the big difference in the Wolverine heads is the hair is different, the black hat has the smirk 😏 and the hair is sticking out more from under the hat, while the brown hat has a stern look and hair is sculpted to appear more tucked in under the hat

Granted, I agree that two heads that are almost identical is an issue, but other than that, the figure looks fantastic!

Hasbro- Hey we're gonna give a cool Sabertooth that everyone wants in a 2 pack with no one else but Wolverine with a regular body, 2 somewhat the same heads because we DEFINITELY know that no one wants a yelling head for Wolverine!
Bruh the Sabertooth is good but I think it can be better but WHY didn't hasbro give us an updated brown suit wolverine for this 2pack THAT WOULD HAVE MADE MORE MONEY
Because they can put that brown suited Wolverine in another two pack with a figure that folks don’t really want.

I’d love to see a furry Mezco version
I got mine today and the left hands are identical on Saber and we got no fist. Is that accurate on anyone else’s, like I knew we weren’t getting a fist but the left hands being the same, is that just mine?
They should be slightly different. If they’re identical then that’s definitely not right
Just got my confirm of delivery relatively soon. At least the wolverine extra hands and claws and the cards are a plus. Weapon X lost the card game bad.

yeah not a fan of that waist. I have been wanting a sabretooth in that body even made one out of warpath cause it fits my jim lee lineup better than the older. now if they wanna do an animated series one they should use the caliban body after they fix the waist. its a little bigger and would work great since comic version and animated versions are different sizes.

The difference in the two Logan head supports is just the hair. One is calm, other is scruffy. Why they didn't make one of those screaming? Who the F knows.
Major pass for me. Look! Another Wolverine, only with a boring face! I already have a Sabretooth, so don't need that either. I'm starting to really hate 2-packs and wish Hasbro would JUST STOP making them. One of them is always a variant of a character they've made half a dozen figures of already. Like the Baron Zemo 2-pack. They've already made 2 different versions of Arnim Zola. Now in order to get Baron Zemo, a classic and major Marvel villain, I'm forced to buy a 2-pack with a figure I already have. Enough!
If Hasbro is going to do 2-packs, make it so that BOTH characters are new or at least make sense. 2-Packs of Hydra or A.I.M. agents would be fine or a 2-pack of Mindless Ones (I really want that), or classic Agatha Harkness with panther-form Ebony. How about a 4- pack of the Frightful Four? That makes sense because anyone who wants one of those characters will want all 4 to build the team. Hasbro needs an enema!

@@DisplayingModelBehaviour I actually like 2-packs, but not when it's a manipulation to buy used characters. The Hydra/SHIELD female 2-pack was great, for example. I just wish we'd get 4-packs of Hydra and A.I.M. agents! LOL!
