I have loved cats all of my life, have rescued many, and the bonds I've had with certain cats I've had over the years, is simply just so beautiful, just like your bond here with Gabriel and the other cheetahs you show here on your channel. Keep up the awesome work!!! The love that these big cats have for you is truly phenomenal, and I love, love, love to see it!

So Lovely and Amazing meeting. Both of you looks so happy to be together . It's so beautiful to watch Gabriel back becoming an adult in a new nice place but don't and won't forget you. Glad to learn that 3 females have a "crush" for him. Our Gab is becoming a "Casanova" 🐆 . Waiting for to see him being proud father of many cubs. Big Thanks to you Dolph for your huge work and this video, guess it shouldn't have been easy and your priority was spending a lot of time with your buddy 💕 Give him a Lot of Hugs We ❤️ you Gabriel !
What a wonderful video ! ❤ And it's fantastic that he remembered you ! 👏 I don't know anything about Gabriel's "reputation" but since he "bonded" with you, he is essentially a "one man dog" who won't like other staff as he loves you... The new preserve looks great and I look forward to seeing him in his next new adventure ! 👏❤
Thx and glad you enjoyed the video! Gabe has a reputation of being ornery and even aggressive at times. But it is triggered by something and I've learned what that is and avoid it. Some triggers cannot be avoided by certain people, like some small petite size people that he sees as someone he can take advantage of. You have to be a certain size to him. Not all small size people, but even them sometimes. i think he has gotten better at his new project and camp where he can focus on female cheetahs and the other males there as competition. He did not focus on me as much at the old project, which means his mind is enriched!
@@CheetahWhisperer Thanks for writing back and giving me a bit of Gabriel's backstory... @@dalemcnamee2427 The Gabe dance is something most all male cats do and even all dogs... there are scent glands on the bottom and in-between the toes of cats and dogs and many other mammals that serves as scents and marking territory. I've been waiting for this reunion video! So happy to see you and Gabriel together again!🥰 Gabriel looks like a fluffy alpaca at 8:10 lol Hope he is enjoying new home now!
Hello Dolph this was a great video as always I have a question, because of cheetahs low genetic diversity most cheetahs nowadays look exactly the same, but still do you tell Gabriel apart from other cheetahs?
I left my cat for a year with my family. Over the next few months she kept meowing and looking. When I finally came home, all I can say was it was not the happy reunion I expected. 😅 I’m so happy to see that Gabriel welcomed you back!
"Workmen making noises nearby" - I had a scaredy-cat and there were major works on the sewers in my street. My cat was petrified on a daily basis for a bit. Then one day I took her to the front of my property and held her so she could see the source of the noise over the front wall. That settled her- and for the rest of the works she was just worried by their noise and moreso the vibration (from tracklaying plant running about). The day the last machine left of the back of a low-loader, I put her in a carry basket and took her right out so she could see the last machine leave. She settled down again very quickly after that.
All lesser cats and especially cheetahs, are extremely skittish. It is a survival trait because they are not top predator and lose their lives and killed prey to other predators.
@@CheetahWhisperer I think most animals inc. lions & tigers are fearful of humans. A cheetah may run - easy option - but lions and tigers prefer to attack when scared - unless they know the person - then they'll move away.
