Elder bug watches as the knight walks into the strange tent, as a few seconds go by elder bug hears a singular hearty smack followed by incoherent screeching, followed by the sounds of some pretty good music.

I literally just realized how foreign the grimm troupe must be to the inhabitants of Dirtmouth by watching this video. The troupe sports a violent red/magenta as their main color, which clashes perfectly with Dirtmouth’s ambient blue.
Korok seed #1034 .5 all of Hallownest is very cool coloured, which definitely makes them stand out. Silksong looks a lot warmer coloured. Perhaps the Grimm Troupe is from Pharloom?
I think they got used to things clashing with ambience, what zote, salubra, and occasionally brumm being there.
GingerGamer Nah the grimm troupe is red because of their connection to the nightmare realm. Kind of how a lot of the dreams are connected with gold (like when you’re in the dreaming realm or godhome). You can tell because the dreamcatchers around grimm and that float around the NKG arena are bright red.
also, the grimm troupe must be terrifying to normal bugs; with them being unknown must be scary, along with the fact that Grimm in bat-like and bats eat bugs, and also with how he's spider-like and spiders eat like, everything smaller than them including other spiders, and the strange scarlet flame (fire in general is dangerous), and the music from the tent clashing with dirtmouth. also, i think that the main tent is impossibly big because it looks normal from the outside but that thing is HUGE in the inside. and from what the others say when the Grimm troupe arrive, there's just an unsettling aura about them in general.

I absolutely love that he refers to the fight as a dance. It heavily implies that he enjoys it. And if you get his rythm down, it really does feel like a good waltz (a waltz where one wrong step will make you panic dodge even harder than dark souls 3, but you get my point)

if you don't press the down key whilst Grimm is bowing, the fight should be sped up by 10 percent
If you hit him when he is bowing, after his pufferfish attack, the fight should be 50 percent faster

The presence of this higher being comes to consume the flames of This Kingdom, and his theme shows his elegant, showman personality quite well! A dance of flame and shadow, The Troupe Master And The Vessel! One of, If not MY favorite theme in the entire game.

Here's how I got here, I tried to 100% shovel knight decided to do grimm troup last, when I walked into grim's tent I was a seasoned veteran but I couldn't focus on the fight. The battle music was just too good, I ended up looking up a metal cover and beating him to that version instead -good memories-
