bro it was so hype cause at that point the only other character was you know the FINAL boss and grimm has it so you knew it was gonna be insaly hard but amazing at the same time
agreed, throughout all the games i've played, i have never experienced a boss that i would fight, beat, and then instantly think: "aw... it's over :(" until i fought Grimm and by extension Nightmare King Grimm

i had a save file that was at 111%, and i figured out i needed to beat the nightmare king. i was really worried as i knew he was hard, and i tried to fight him without proper charms and died. then i put on the right charms and LITERALLY beat him in my second attempt.

A Nightmare worth reliving. Seriously, if i could go through the suffering of having to fight NKG again, i would. But sadly the bossfight has merged with my DNA and im never going to forget how to fight him. I just really wish i could relive this, as strange as it sounds.
Real shit though, it took me three days but I was able to no damage him and, even if I usually get bored of tryharding real fast, I legitimately had fun grinding the bossfight over and over for three days until I finally made it. At first it seems hopeless but you gradually learn his moveset and how to dodge it and you start to improve so visibly that everytime victory feels within grasp and you just can't stop playing knowing that you're so close to finally making it

Lemme introduce you to godhome where literally every boss can deal 2 damage or outright one shot you. Radiant NKG is arguably the hardest fight in the game (at least for me anyways)
Not gonna lie seeing the fan base of this game grow fills my heart with joy, I appreciate the remixes you do and how they can bring light to an otherwise unknown game, and honestly the remixes you do are just generally good.

Imagine if the Grimmchild spit out 3 fireballs like a Primal Aspid after this fight. I mostly say this because we can all agree the Grimmchild is underpowered.
I know it's nothing like this, but I like to think that Grimm has gotten so old, due to noone being able to complete the ritual and end Grimm, that he gives his bare minimum in the fight, like the kind of thing you do when playing with a 2 yr old to let him win. Just to think Grimm is stronger than that

Radiant Nightmare King was an experience and a half. Finally finishing the guy off made my soul ascend to the heavens though, I'm pretty sure.
NKG is imo one of the better bosses to do on radiant. If you know his moveset, it's a lot easier than for example Watcher Knights, or... Absrad..
