    If you get a chance, can you also talk about the 9 ball cut break trying to make the 1 in the side? Pretty important for many tournaments.

    Thanks Florian, I knew some of the methods for breaking the 8-9 ball rack. the 10 ball break from my point of view is similar to the 8 ball break. I still learned a lot. thanks once again for sharing important information!!!!

    In 9 ball do you recommend breaking from the loose side of the rack or the opposite side ?

    Racking has always been the most important shot in pool.
    Now with template racks and all balls being the same size(wasn’t always the case) the break has became almost too important.
    Who breaks the best wins at the highest level now so more than ever. Also who has the best racking technique-unfortunately. Rack mechanics have forever changed pool.
    If your break isn’t working you aren’t winning.
    Nice video Florian

    Wow, this is exactly what i have been looking for! My break surely needs to improve. My wife even got me a 25 oz. break cue for St. Patrick's day from Pool Dawg.
    I need a little extra because of my limited usage right arm and have more time being sheltered at home and having been laid off my day job.

    Nice video Florian keep up the great work. Unfortunately this virus has us on lock down and can't go shoot anywhere. We just finished our session for Monday apa when our state shut business down for the virus. How's things in Vegas? Next time I'm out that way gonna have to find a pool hall instead of a bar with shit tables.

    Ive always been curious as to why some tournaments you must rack 9 on the spot. What is the reason behind that and does that change how you would break?

  • @PaleRider54
    @PaleRider54 4 роки тому

    You need an overhead perspective for the breaks, adding the predicted tracks to see if you're correct.

    In the first 8ball rack there is a problem. The rules specifies that one ball from each group of seven will be on the two lower corners of the triangle. But in the first rack there are two stripes in lower corners :D

      Depending on the league you playing. Each have a rule set for that particular league. If playing with friends or for a table at the bar or pool hall, having a set of rules to follow is what determines.

      @@VenomTrickshotsOfficial Dont necessarily have to jump over a ball every time. If the table is open, you can just get some arc on the cue ball, but you do have to make it go airborne for every shot

      Well, at least my game. I call it "Bank in, bank out, bank 8". One must bank the first shot of their chosen rank, their last shot just before the 8 and the 8 as well. Sad part is that in a bar folks are too buzzed to remember and drunken 8 ball fights ensue :-) (naaahh). Try this shot for a hard shot...

    If you are hitting the white ball at the top, why does it put on the graph that we give in the center? 1:30

    • @rasm7607
      @rasm7607 4 роки тому

      It does show high, but only by about a fifth of a cue tip. Minimally above the centerline will apply just the right amount of spin.

    having spaces between racked balls is a misrack and can be called out and is why pros look at "the gaps" because if there are any they can call a re-rack... intentionally creating a gap would be against most leagues rules...

    Btw you can win the game 9-ball by hitting with a lot of top spin on this game Pure Pool and lift your cue stick a bit so you can hit the 1 ball and automatically win it doesn't always work though

    How do you play 10 ball? This is the first I am hearing about this game.

    • @stephenmcneil4573
      @stephenmcneil4573 4 роки тому +1

      10 ball is a rotation game like 9-ball, but with called shots, and at least at the professional level now, no early 10 ball, as in if it is made on a combination it is respotted.

  • @okkrom

    Around here that first rack isnt regulatory. Back corner balls have to be different kind.

  • @Pablo-wy9yg
    @Pablo-wy9yg 4 роки тому

    Isn't it technically against the rules for the referee to respot the rack without all of them touching?

  • @Janosch_on_fire
    @Janosch_on_fire 4 роки тому +1

    You win the rack if the 8 goes in ? I thought you have to break new

    • @Bl4cK666
      @Bl4cK666 4 роки тому

    • @sendivogius
      @sendivogius 4 роки тому +1

      Depends on the rules being played... APA rules, you win instantly; BCA rules, you re-spot the 8.

      It sucks! But when I do play, I play Corona Style. I do not even touch the table. I can't believe how good phone cameras are... That is a VERY hard shot. Getting the cue ball to come off the second rail and hit the 8 in is near impossible. Try it when you get back to a table. The two included pics lay out the shot.
