I wrote this novel to apply for creative writing project hosted by University of Iowa. It was the end of 2023, I was still working in Trade Company. I took 5 days off to focus on my creative work.
The story was simple, I only wrote about two characters, given that one of them was actually me, the writer was present in the story, there would be then only one character, her name was Seven.
In this novella, I went to a small town near the seaside to enroll in college. There I met Seven, the daughter of the richest local family. We had midnight adventures together, you will find out what that was inside the story.
Honestly the novel was a bit babyish, the plot was jumpy, it’s kind of experimental, snappy and light-hearted. But I like it as my first English novel.
I’ve been working on an international receiving account and Amazon self-publish method, when you see this video, my novella is already on sales.

These days I’ve been looking for a part-time job to payback my credit card, and luckily I did find one.
At this moment, my main focus will be solving my credit card issues, and saving money for possible overseas trips.
Good news is I already paid back my June debt and I am working on July!! By the way, If this kind of video-like I sitting there and talking to you guys-I will def keep uploading, I have some ideas now, given that those food video are not as good as I thought, I might share some books, it depends on whether this video can hit UA-cam audience.

I was quite confused recently, as most of my friends have an office job but I am free as a bird(lol), I will get on a path, maybe I am already on it, this video might not get viral cause I am just talking about my novella and the whole background of it. But no regret, I am glad finally I can publish my work:)

I read your novella, A Midnight Stroll with Seven. I really enjoyed the experience. As I recall the story in my mind's eye, it feels as though I am recalling a dream, as though you conveyed the feeling of the moment much more than the detail. When it comes to romance we often feel the moment rather than seeing the moment and the writing reflects this. I can tell some of the phraseology is from your first language, but actually when expressed in English it often becomes quite pretty and poetic.
You're a really talented woman, Susan. Keep refining your craft, because I want to enjoy the expression of your mind. Never lose sight of the fact your creations are beautiful and special, because you are beautiful and special. I look forward to watching your videos and reading your next story.
Second time watching this and by far the best part is just the joy and excitement in you talking about your novella. I really hope we are able to enjoy more content from you in the future.

I would like you to keep in mind that most successful utubers do almost 1 video per day and sometimes it takes a year or 2 of this bombardment to get to the point where they are earning the minimum utube has to offer. Also you may need to establish a presence on as many social media platforms as possible then use them to share your links to the video's and any funding info you have. I believe a 15 minute vid is perfect unless you feel the need to go longer to make your statement. Oh yes and to promote your books;)
Publishing a novella sounds so exciting! I like writing too, it was my favorite hobby + subject in highschool.
