God of UA-cam, please recommend this video to the right people, please help me through this situation, let's see if this video could make any difference, if not, I am thinking about pausing the travel plan and getting a part-time job to pay my bills first:(
Alright, I tell you what this video is about, it's a small youtuber who recently found herself in credit card trouble and had to discuss this problem with her followers. She's been thinking about traveling but the bills are keeping her step. She is now considering her next steps and really needs advice and help from UA-cam. So God of UA-cam, please help her!
Thanks for all the love and comments (advice especially)! I'd like to update my situation with you guys, yesterday I had a long conversation with my family, together we've cleared up the misunderstandings and blockages we used to have. They love me, and they helped me with the credit card thing (partially) it was not a terrible amount, I didn't buy anything swanky, it was a monthly installment for my camera and mic. And I am actively looking for a way to gain income before my channel has the ability to feed me^ ^it is overwhelming to see how the suscribers are growing, I actually wrote a prayer in the description seems its working perfectly, thanks:) the first 100 just feels like a close family, how sweet^ ^~
Please do not kill yourself
Self love and faith in our creator.
We are beings of light having a human existence.
We come here to experience suffering, our attachments to people, places and things.
We are warriors of light, our creator gave us the spark of life that lives in all.
You will be okay.
Trust the process..
I look forward to each of your videos, enjoy watching and listening to them, and find your presence, thoughtfulness, naturalness, candor, and genuineness to be so engaging. You are deeply creative, and I hope that the number of your devoted viewers and readers will continue to grow. Your personal voice is so distinctive and worth listening to. Your production values are good. You are an excellent storyteller. The note you pinned is so reassuring. It's wonderful that you and your family cleared up misunderstandings and blockages and that you know they love you, and they helped you with the credit card. Best wishes for ongoing success in staying true to your creative calling.
Great video. Stay strong and positive.
I see you hit over 1000 subscribers now, I hope you are starting to get the monetization. I found you from the recent video "my non-human belonging" showing up in my feed and watched the whole thing, thinking you were so genuine, relatable and endearing. I got your book too and want to support your endeavors... I would really like to see more of China, as an American I think we have a tainted view of it. If you made videos showing what aspects of society have made people so insensitive to creatives like yourself in some way, I would watch that. Overall just sharing your struggles is so relatable -- I wonder if becoming successful from this can maintain that appeal in an ironic way. Maybe show the contradiction in the society that supports this path but exploits or denies it for so many others
I love genuine talks kinda videos like this 🥺 Reminds me of the good old UA-cam days :3
I a small youtuber too! your video is awesome! more than happy to subscribe and keep up with your journey - the algorithm was finally good to me today because i enjoyed your video more than many large channel videos i have seen recently - you are making true content that is deeply thought out & personal; i hope you reach any goals you have - i want to reach mine too and i am not there yet 😔
i am opposite of you in one way - you said that you are becoming less shy & more confident - thats so cool! i am opposite because i used to be confident but now am becoming shy but working to fix this
thank you for your video
my videos with 0 views are painful to see these 0 views also; but they were also some of my favorite videos to make :) dont let lack of views deter what type of stuff you make; always stay true to yourself ♥ @8:38 we would love for you to show us china!
thank you! I'd like to share a phrase that encourages me the most recently: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. This is what I've been following, I hope it helps you too:)
Thank you for this slice of life video. I love how your background is outdoors with the traffic noise, but not too overwhelming and we can still hear you clearly. It all feels so natural and "raw" while still being good quality! Excited to continue watching your journey 🙏
Small progress are still progress,it takes times😊
Find a job , pay off your debt 🙏
You can do it!!
⭐️Then work on your creativity⭐️
Best of luck with your youtube channel.
God bless you :)

Hi there! I also am a small content creator in China. While our circumstances aren't quite the same, we do have some other similarities. I feel that it takes a lot of courage for you to open up and speak out like this, especially since it isn't typical in Chinese culture. for this I would like to offer you some ideas that I have had myself for creation within China.
I firstly suggest that you do find a part time job in your area (Hangzhou, I guess?) and use this to supplement your goals on UA-cam.
Then you need to think about what target audience you want to have, this should be the first thing going forward! Whether you want to focus on video or audio storytelling, travel content, food/cuisine, language based content (you might enjoy this one the most, it offers a lot of ways to be creative), or even just sharing your daily life as it is while you figure yourself out.. I think this will help to steer you in the right direction and push your content towards becoming monetized.
Secondly, I highly suggest that you create a small ongoing series showing the area you live or even the things that you enjoy the most. do this for each location you've been (thailand included)
I really enjoyed listening to your story and I do believe there are more people searching for these things than you might initially realize but trust the process and through this, you will see the growth you're seeking. better days are yet to come! I am wishing you all the luck!
Like others have said, find a job to pay off your debt and do UA-cam in any free time you can find. I have subscribed and would love to see more of your journey.
OK I am subbed...
Still trying to figure out why.
I got out of a 14 year relationship with a Chinese American at the start of March.
Don’t give up. I went to college while learning content creation. I started helping others with social media and now have a side business. I went back to full time work to pay my debt off in the least amount of time and build my own content and help others on the side. Clients pay a little, but more importantly they give me a chance to learn quicker through their needs and experiences to jump into it full time in a year when I’m financially stable. I travel, just once every 6 months for a week instead of monthly right now.
as many people have said, you 100% need to pay off your debt first, get a job to pay off your debt and then you can do whatever you want but the debt has to be paid before you do any traveling. I also recommend using titles for your videos that will grab peoples attention so you get more views and watch hours to help you get monetization, just like with his video. i've subscribed so hopefully that'll help a little, just focus on paying off your debt first and everything will start to get better :)
just gonna leave a comment for the algorithm.
the wind in your hair makes this video a cinematic masterpeicee,
Personally, I strongly belive that one should focus more on a guaranteed and stable career and maybe do youtube/ etc for fun or as a side gig. I highly discourage dropping everything and to focus on youtube especially with how algorithm works. I advise investing more time into other platforms before entering youtube eg: tiktok, instagram. Staying close to trends and adding your own uniqueness to it is probably my advice. wish you the best : )
I consider myself a small UA-camr, but I am monetized, so I cannot even say that anymore after watching this. I really feel for you deeply. A lot of what you said are the same anxieties I have in my life balancing being creative with stability. I am incredibly empathetic toward your situation. So many emotions came up. My personal fear is not being able to progress my financial stability with maintaining my creativity. My only advice is to not look at monetization as a solution, because I make nothing from UA-cam and am primarily supported by my Patreon. You really have to hit big numbers to do so. However, I also understand the need to create being far more powerful than money or anything else, which is why I still do it. I wish you well and all the joy in the world. You already said it, "UA-cam is a marathon." 🙏 ☮ ❤
Susan, I am sure that I will not be the first to tell you this but you need to do both. A ' regular ' job to pay the bills and stop credit card 💳 debt while working on your creative endeavors until UA-cam or writing starts supplying you with an income you can live on.
I love your videos because you tell your story in an honest and meaningful way.
Best of luck to you and keep your head up, you will eventually get to the place you want to be even if you don't know where that place is. ✌️
I’ve recently started this account after deleting my old channel and totally feel this 😅
I WOULD LOVE posting this first video but i hate my accent..
The most important thing right now is repaying your debt... you will fill more stressed and miserable later on. My advise is to find a part-time job to repay the debt and the other days to make your videos and vlog. UA-cam is just a process that takes months of uploads to go viral so make sure you do fifty fifty with work and youtube. I am in the same boat for youtube (still need to upload my first video and not in this account I am writing right now). Your viral videos is about muslim and indian food, so you can try make videos of "best halal place in .... China", "eating only halal with muslims in china" "hidden halal place" etc. You don't have to go somewhere far away, just find something that is close so you dont spend too much money. I am currently a Master's student in the UK and I was thinking to make videos on youtube but I am still shy. I want to see your progress and I hope you don't give up. Who knows maybe one day collabs with others or even me hahah. Last thing I am also Italian/Bangladeshi so I was very surprised when you said you know Italian hahah but I live in the UK for the past 9 years. Don't give up you got this!!!
Shall I keep traveling using credit card (that sounds really scary) or just get a job to pay the debt first? Anybody any advice?😇I have no idea when I can get monetized tho...
"With hardship comes ease".
"No soul is burdened beyond what it can bear."
I hope you can realize your strength and be able to realize your own potential.
You know two of the major global languages plus Italian, easily covering half of the global population.
Get a job locally, and continue vlogging while on job.
There are already a gazillion travel channels about China, that should not be your sole/main focus for now.
Vlog about the daily mundane, seemingly uninteresting things, people tend to gravitate towards the more natural, not pretentious, stuff. To err is human.
Try to get a job in the cosmetics, jewelry or clothing industry, with a focus on export... Delve into aspects foreign businessmen or buyers would be interested in. Visit production lines, processing units and narrate the process for your international audience.
Do that until you reach 200000 subscribers... Then think of travel etc.
Don't delve into depressing topics, like this one, people want to immerse themselves into entertainment to forget their own miseries, not to take on yours. Never show depression or your vulnerability.
You are young, vibrant, energetic and smart...
Don't underestimate yourself ever again.
Strength and Perseverance.
I would say get rid of the debt as soon as possible. It'll creep up on you later.
deefinetly get a job to pay it off first! then once you save some money up do what you wish. PLease let us see your novels !!
I suggest paying the debt first as they can get you on trouble as a small UA-camr,, for views and subscriber I recommend making shorts they get more views so when you have enough viewers you can easily get required watch time by making videos
You know what? For once I'm subscribing to someone who I'm new to just cause I wanna support a small channel and it randomly popped in my feed. Good luck for the journey ahead and don't give up, I'll be rooting for you.
Rooting for you
You have to stop for a moment and think about your situation. Use this situation as if you are struggling with your life. Now show people your journey from here.
Find a job for the time being, then on weekends make plans for activities near your house where you don’t have to invest much.
Take one step back and think about what you want to do.
thank you, this is what I am thinking about and I've been looking for some part-time jobs to deal with this situation
One day you will
Stay strong!, And I would love to know where to find your writing so i can read it
Please share the novel as well 1000 hitting pretty soon
Don't worry, it will take some time for the channel to be monetized, but it will definitely happen. You have to fix the timing of uploading videos on your channel ♥️. This thing happens to every youtuber in the beginning. You have to understand your audience from your last two viral videos and what kind of content they like to watch ♥️
You are right...sometimes I am interested in some contents then I spent a lot of time preparing for it, when I finally finished it, nobody watched it omg I need some time to learn the rules of UA-cam
@@StoryForSusan Keep going ♥️
@@OkOfficial400 Yeah def!!! It's like a miracle that everytime I felt like giving up, there are people popping out of nowhere and sending me lots of love and support❤🩹We are strangers from every corner in the world that's so fantastic😽
@@StoryForSusan yeahhhhhh♥️
Hey please don't give up, you will be successful I am telling you but it will take time, you are already talented and creative, you write novels, that is not easy, but it will take you time to convert that talent to the screen, but it will happen I promise
For the algorithm
good luck! we will watch! Also.... what do you write??
I don’t mean to sound negative but don’t rely on UA-cam’s AdSense revenue, at least in the beginning, unless your audience is from the US. IMO if you could pay your debt while working a regular job, then you could be debt-free and then focus 100% on UA-cam with no worries. Good luck
trust me i got youtube monetize have 20k subs and 10k view a day an the income i got on youtube cant even take my electricity bill.. youtube takes luck too if you thinking monetizing and earning millions its almost imposible better find job 1st and make youtube as a hobby.. and if you go viral its a bonus if you rely on youtube alone you will be homeless in no time sorry for being like a negative person but making false hope to others is dangerous.. and dont get credit its a ticking timebomb
it takes time ..............................
I can give you away my main channel. I do not use it, and it is monetized.
If you feel like ur life is miserable, watch some documentaries from south asian countries . I think you will appreciate your life more than ever.
May i suggest putting a cool thumbnail
you're starting to be shown on ppl recommendations so you'll be no longer small in some days, congrats!
What's your nationality??? ❤
Chinese
show us the real china
Get a new bank account stop paying go dark change your phone new number
wanna visit india ?
Pay off your debts first and then concentrate on the videos. It will certainly be a pleasure to see China through your lens.
Time to get a real job. Too many UA-camrs nowadays 😂
Focus on getting rid of your debt with a job and do UA-cam when you can, it's not gonna be easy, and making it on UA-cam is not easy but if you really want it, you'll do whatever it takes to get to the top, it seems to me that you enjoy and want to make a career out of youtube, so if you continue, I'll see you at the top
(also download, UA-cam studio, it has a feature that notifies you when your monetized)
