Klevis is the epitome of a humble and hardworking man who - quite literally - came from the streets and now runs a successful business. On top of that, he makes the highly admirable effort to assimilate himself with the local culture, and makes friends with anybody and everybody. Additionally, his sociable nature is contagious and should be emulated by others. His contributions - whether gastronomically, economically, or emotionally - is worth of extremely high praise. I wish him nothing but the very best in his F&B career as well as in his personal life. Thank you, Ghib, for featuring this man on your channel.
I've been visiting his store for over a year and known Klevis even longer than that. When I visited today, just 1 day after this video, everything was sold out at 6pm. Couldn't be happier for him.
Klevis is right that SG is not for lazy people, and the auntie is a positive energy to all of us when she said she can work, she so happy. I enjoyed watching this video ❤
I tried his foods months back. Sure, they're more pricey than standard hawker fare but still cheaper than most restaurants, and it's really decent! Right next to an MRT too - go give it a try and support him.
Really can see that Klevis is full of enthusiasm with his interview. So energetic and I liked his positive attitude. I think he will have a chain of followers after this video...To more good business moving forward
Beauty World is a great location for him to set up store. It has great international vibes, especially Korean vibes. It doesn't feel like a typical hawker center. Hope his business does well after this episode airs. I would love to try his Mediterranean food too.
Great job, Ghib! You've scored again. It's truly uplifting to witness how well your guest, Klevis, has adapted to our society and developed a fondness for Singaporean local food. His belief that hard work leads to rewards is absolutely spot on. Klevis embodies the kind of foreigner that many Singaporeans warmly welcome - someone who radiates positivity and humility. His tagline, "I am not your servant, I am at your service," beautifully captures his attitude. I'm planning to visit Beauty World next. Thank you for the content.
This Episode definitely brings out the wonderfully human to human relationship regardless the type of jobs, race or religion. It is also heartening to see foreigners blending into our SG culture and finding themselves part of the community. SG is a multiracial country with wonderful mix of people and it maybe the only country in the world where so many races can bond together and eventually calling the island their HOME. Good job to Ghib and hope Kelvis may one day open his own restaurant in SG
Thank you to Kelvis and Ghib for the video and sharings. As a "hawker" myself, i totally understand and empathise with Kelvis' working conditions and long hours as well as Tetsu-san's. Their positive attitudes, adaptability and 100% pride in their chosen profession as "hawkers" are simply amazing. In many ways, all these are echoes of what goes on in the minds and hearts all the hawker "uncles" & "aunties" in their past and their present. Thank you once again to the Kelvis, Tetsu-san and Ghib Ojisan. Domo arigato gozaimasu.
Your story telling is amazing. Your interviews could bring out the story of various foreigners who are adopting the lifestyle of average Singaporeans. You made it very relatable to most Singaporeans and most importantly captured our hearts through their individual life stories. Your work is a great example of someone who is truly experiencing and understanding Singapore culture!
When I worked at the Bukit Timah shopping mall I was so surprised when I saw this stall and that it was being run by Europeans. Even took a photo of it to remind myself to check it out but I kept putting it off until I ultimately forgot about it. I'm still studying nearby so I'll definitely remember to go check it out soon!
The charm of Ghib's videos is how unassuming the content is, to have an insight of the more less explored topics and interesting people.... I made the right choice to support Ghib! So heartwarming and being able to understand different POV of people from many walks of life and how they became the person they are today after going through trials and tribulations! Thank you Ghib and thank you the people with work with you!
ur story journalist skills -- asking the right questions n probing gently further to get the interesting bits out...kudos. nice editing too: showing scenes of his hawker friends in between. and also getting the interaction with him n his hawker friends. and definitely u need the kind of personality that can connect with others so that they open up with their stories n true feelings, while also creating a lighthearted rapport. nice one, ghib :)
He really has the Singapore DNA. I hope he gets citizenship eventually cus medical is really tough when you're old and PR. Especially if you don't have money to pay upwards of what will be 10k a year for insurance
Good to know you manage to catch up with Klevis and did a great interview on his Albanian stall...i believe there are still many special people around our community who not necessary Sg citizens here. Your show definitely give them due recognition and coverage to prove that SG is indeed a welcoming & friendly country. Ok la,.cheers to U...
This guy is amazing . Who say ang moh only come and do the expat job ~ he shows he can lead the typical life of our Singaporeans hawkers so kudos to him really ~
What an amazing story from him on his journey escaping his hometown to real survival challenge in other countries, no wonder he said the stall for him is no challenge especially after experiencing hardship, it's nothing for him thinking back how hard he had it when he was 14... Good man and TFS his story.Real Inspiring... Hard work n luck will see him succeed.👍
My wife and I are eating here right now. We have a 9” Quattro Stagiono pizza, Hummus n Pita Bread and Chicken Kebab. Oh man, they are delicious. I don’t normally eat pizza because they are normally bad in Singapore but this one I really like. Fantastic!!! Love it.
Singapore has helped uplift the practice, meaning, and lifestyle of hawker food. Eating at a hawker center is a pleasure I wouldn't miss every time I return to Singapore
I eat there a few times, the good is good! you can taste the freshness from the first bite! and they have a variety of italian beverage including beer not commonly found. I love esp their pizza and cheese wrap.
I have seen ang mohs working in hawker stalls or coffeeshops before. But I was most surprised to see a hispanic guy (with an American accent) selling Mexican food in lau pa sat some time ago. Not sure if his stall is still there!
Hey friends, HapiHa has moved to a new location at Ridgewood Cl, g1 5, Singapore 276696 ! 😍

Tried his food a few times before, very delicious and healthy as they dont use msg! Didnt know his son is so cute 😊 Support!!!
Msg is not unhealthy. Don't believe those lies. Racist white doctors completely fabricated the restaurant syndrome story.
