Great video my friend, we've had 11 snow evens now. The bilodeau blower is working a lot better with the thinner stainless cutting edge. The thick UHMW (1") plastic edge was causing the blower to be high and the auger wasn't able to move the snow to the centre to throw it up into the fan. I can't wait until I pick up the M4D-071 for next year.
New sub , but holy smokes man theirs a lot of kids that no nothing . They should be all taught how to operate an fix simple things like sheer pins or if operators wanna switch the way they want it let them do it ..
i do salting and snow clearing too, and i now the struggle bus... broken lift arm and a heavy salt spreader on a compact tractor made for a fun time alone when the boss just say well i can't help you, figure it out yourself..... 🙄😒
I'm looking for some information/guidance, hoping that you can help me. I'm in a very rural area of western New York state, US. I have a 1 mile long private drive/road that is dirt and gravel. I usually plow the road with super duty pickup 8 foot fisher commercial plow. I've thought about switching to an inverted snow blower on my new Holland tractor. My concern is for the blower picking up gravel, possibly damaging the blower or sending gravel that does damage to property. Your input is appreciated.
33% of our customers are gravel, the blowers we use in our business handle blowing gravel just fine and does not cause any significant damage to the blower.
Thank you for the information. I pay a lot of attention to what you do in your business. I've remodeled my business to mirror what you're doing. I'm on a much smaller scale working in the Thumb of Michigan. I really appreciate the content that you post! Did you find the rubber cutting edges were too tall? Possibly not doing a good enough job of cutting the hard pack? Thank you for your time.
Would you be able to do a quick video of the controls and explain why the guys want the change and what your standard preference thanks and lol nothing wrong with mcnuggets bro
If I heard right when he was turned in that blower back-and-forth. He would hold that lever too long and squilled at hydraulic motor and he's probably put too much hydraulic pressure on that fitting. He needs to when it comes to stop stop instead of keep holding the lever. I had people do the same thing when I was working in an implement dealership. And they would keep blowing up seals out of the overdome motors. All the time
I definitely agree with standardizing your levers/remotes! Can you please show the orientation of them that you guys find to works best in the L6060's?
Man, your operators can’t communicate “top link” or know how to swap hydraulic lines.. Someone has failed these men- either their fathers or their manager(s)… but if they failed you by not even trying to be a professional operator and learn equipment. Fire and hire new!
Lots of city kids driving those units🤣
Just a new Generation starting the new work force
City country uptown downtown, ya really need to watch and listen during training.

Love L6060. Been using since I started lol.
If you don’t mind me asking , what dispatch/route software are you guys using?
Or is it a custom setup?
It looks like FolloTrac we use it with the company I work for it works quite well

you'll be an effective supervisor in 15-20 years
Question:
What is the average life expectancy of a Hevea cutting edge? Also are you still using them?
We no longer use them, heave edges will last about 300 hours of use!

Do u charge the guys who damage properties or machines
Accidental damages get split 50/50 with the company and employee.

how many hours are on it?
1000
Finger tightening things is not how you avoid later problems...
Agree
We got all that snow down here in Huntsville
For the hydraulic hose that keeps getting lose try some loctite use the blue one it offers a harder lock

It would be tuff in this instance but putting them to float when you turn it off can help relieve pressure too.
That being said I usually forget to do it myself
Kubota or John Deere? Looks like you would know which one is more reliable.
Kubota, they love the cold!

Ill defiantly come out with a video!
turn them PTO around less hard to change the bolt
Yo from grey bruce
2nd in line. It’s a John Deere that’s why it broke
Na it was just the hydraulics
imagine just hiring some locals
If you don't like it learn it...Lead by example..Put your friggin seat belt on dude...
He had and I agree with him… 🤷♂️
It will be much better when you are forced to use electric tractors
