Good video to help the DIY person without access to better diagnostic kit. Ok there will be critics but in the real world this is perfectly adequate advice. Thanks for posting.
Great video!!! Ive got an injector on its way out on my n47 BMW. Injectors are surprisingly well accessible so i might have a go at that. Amazing how many video's just skirt over the smallest steps and if someone is actually following the video as a guide it will completely throw them off.
Great video! The only thing I would do slightly differently would be to take the caps off the injectors when they're in to avoid any tiny particles going in them when putting it in the bore. If the injectors are really stuck in you can slacken the clamp a little and turn the engine over. The fuel pressure will blast the injector out a bit making it much easier to remove. Brilliant video though. Your clio engine looks much better than mine!
very good instructional video. I would cover all the injector holes, before blowing out the bore with compressed air. You do not want to blow debris into the other bore holes. After cleaning the bore holes with a rag, blow them out again. The only reason for cleaning area around bore holes is to avoid sand or metal shavings out of the cylinders. Your first step in cleaning around the injector before removal would have been sufficient. Using a solvent spray on a cool engine and rising the area, then blow dry, would be best practice. Thanks for posting.

you should always change the high pressure lines when you loosen an union and good tip to hold the sealing washers in place while inserting an injector is to use dab of grease never put the injector hard into the bore like you did there the tip of the injector is extremely sensetive
You pretty much have too replace all of them because they all work for the same time and last about the same time so changing only one or 2 will be a waste of time as the other 2 will fail shortly after and need replacing too. If you can’t afford all of them at once then just do one at a time but it’s not wise.
As you can see here after changing those too the other 2 are still worn but are working fine right now. It won’t be long before those too fail like the first 2 did.
Very well made video. Thank you. I have a different engine - a Nissan Patrol 2.8 turbo - but this video has helped with diagnosis of injector problems.
Really good video however after changing the 2 injectors and seeing the difference... its obvious the other 2 will need changing at some point in the near future.. save cash in seals, labour and time... get them all done at once.
Don't forget you need to put the injector codes into the ECU(with an OBDII scanner, for your car, a universal one will not have this feature). Without the new injector codes entered into the ECU, the car's engine will not run as smoothly as you have shown and may also get damaged.
I had that same problem on my passat b4 diesel. And later it turned out that jumped cambelt, but all the symptoms were the same. Greetings from Croatia.
This was very informative, well done, i had a no start condition in a great wall steed equipped with delphi inyection yours started right after cranking even when you removed 2 inyectors
Thanks for making this video. I have tata indigo dicor cr4 car. We get repaired valves and install new rockers yesterday. Every thing we installed new but still my car didn't start. Please guide me how to start..
After switching 3 and 4 injector one wont work. I get missfire other one is bad so i replace it with repaired one and it works but 3. Dont work and i have misfire. Any tipa on how to get it working again?
After he cleans out the injector holes, the second hole at 8.02 still looks dirty in the bottom where the copper seal goes. Should he not have used a cutter to polish clean it?
My car was misfireing but I put new plush in it and it was find now it is doing it again but I only put new ones in my car a few months ago so I'm not sore what it is that's causing the misfire to happen again?
This is the good school for people what they don’t know how must to working the injector’s….good explaining!!!
Best video I have seen. so clear, no gimmicks makes it simple and doesn't blind you with science. fantastic
I'm a mechanic and I watched the whole video.
Merci Beaucoup
This is what i looking for, clear and show in hand without selfish knowledge. Well done, please keep it up.

Nice video many people have no clue about diesels but may still be reasonable petrol mechanics ...

Amazing video, helped me diagnose 2 bad injectors on my bmw. Thanks!
What a great tutorial on injector problems it's award winning thank you so much so helpful to me i can't save it on my computer for some reason . Sean
Awesome, thank you very much for thinking about others!
It's an early Delphi System. The pumps used to eat them selves and screw the injectors. But things have got better happy days👍🏼
Merci beaucoup. Ça m'a aidé vraiment
Great video, good job, thanks for sharing, though I would have replaced all four injectors, but that’s just the way I roll with my cars!
So replacing all 4 would be the best option right? So that means, the lower the return flow, the better the injector.
@@arthurimona5901 yes that's correct mate

Really good video however after changing the 2 injectors and seeing the difference... its obvious the other 2 will need changing at some point in the near future.. save cash in seals, labour and time... get them all done at once.

from iraq my greeting for you r information well done
hi, excellent video..
do you know how the configure the new injectors in the ECU?
especially on a Volkswagen, with VCDS/Vacom?
Don't forget you need to put the injector codes into the ECU(with an OBDII scanner, for your car, a universal one will not have this feature). Without the new injector codes entered into the ECU, the car's engine will not run as smoothly as you have shown and may also get damaged.
Brilliant video, thank-you.
this is very help full but some car the return pipe there is inside the tappet cover what is the idea ?
