Вставка
- Опубліковано 29 чер 2024
- What are physical copies of Xbox One games worth these days? Andy and Mike put their Xbox One disc collections head to head in the Xbox One Trade-in Value Challenge to find out which contains the most precious vintage Xbox One games.
Watch along while Andy and Mike each select a scientific sample of their Xbox One archives, then adjudicator Jane checks the trade-in value and determines the best Xbox One games by trade-in value. The winner will be hailed! The loser will be shunned! Only on Outside Xbox!
(We won't actually be selling our precious Xbox One physical media, especially not the promotional review copies.)

The fact that Mike has games that are worth literally nothing and also genuine collectors items somehow makes perfect sense.
In Mike's defense, games sell for more if they have their original box
That’s what I said! Plus some have never been opened, that also increases their value
Most of Andys looked to be review copies which probably just came with generic packaging, not surprised he didn't bother to keep it as you can't sell them regardless.
@@scottmatthew9605 While I agree, I also saw their head to heads during 2020, where Andy and Jane both said they never keep the boxes lol
So true
Only if you're selling to another person, not to a game store.
Thanks for the DLC Mike!
Oh, wow, did it actually work? Thought it would have expired by now!
"The Xbox One Is Dead, long dead, so why are you holding on to all your old games?"
Cut to me desperately trying to hide my Xbox360.
That's a vintage gaming console.
I am sorry to be the one to break this news to you.
The last generation where you OWNED the games you bought, ie: You could play them off the disc.
You're fine, people actually care about the 360 (I'm only saying this because I bought an Xbox One and later quietly ditched it for a PS4)
I recently went on a nostalgia binge buying myself a DS and various Pokémon games, those presh mems deserve to be relived!
And yet, games with XB1 support have still been published this year.
0:48 the utter disgust on Andy’s face at mikes antics is just. 👌😂
Dont blame him, they may be worthless to Mike but to Joe Public those are perfectly good copies of games they or their children might want to play. It shows a total disrespect for property, if you dont want it ... donate it.
@@SecretOfMonkeyIsland784Nah. Mike runs a UA-cam channel where they regularly include clips from older games. There is nothing disrespectful that he holds onto them even if he presently has no intention to play them. It isn't like the supply of any of those games is running so low that anyone is struggling to find them.
Mike- ‘better than the working title- touch each others junk’ 🤣
I love how irreverent he is.
They would get so many more view with that title lol
when mikes 4th grader brain kicks in
I am wondering what happened during that jump cut
@@TheMega5 Right? One of my favorite things is seeing how the others react when one of them blurts out something unexpected like that.
The trade-in challenge livestream is among my favourites to rewatch so definitely happy for this
I must have watched that video about 30 times in the midst of the initial pandemic shutdown. It was so much fun!
How do I find that video? That sounds great
I frequently revisit that livestream and the others that they did all around that same time (the assorted guess the game challenges, the energy drink challenge, etc).
@@SolaScientiaSAME. The worst game collection was a great stream.
@@SolaScientia Those streams were what first really got me down the rabbit hole that is OxBox, still fun on re-watch now.
Andy mugged Mike for his copy of Fortnite as they left the studio. Then Jane mugged Andy for it.
mike getting out his PHYSICAL copy of OG Fortnite (now dubbed as Save The World) is a power move and a flipping half i won't lie
11:48 Andy snatching the Jane's phone and and actually reading the 'Fine Print'
is hysterical to me.. and apparently to Jane too
That sealed copy of Fortnite is worth $800 to $1200 on Ebay. Mike, I'll give you 100 copies of Battleborn for it!
Dead game.
@@unculturedweeb4240 Battleborn, or Fortnite? Because it you think Fortnite is dead, then the 222 million monthly players would be VERY surprised to hear that....
Battleborn
"What is the trade-in value of these games?"
Mike dumps them all on the floor.
"Well, probably less than it was 30 seconds ago."
I never thought we would get this kind of video again, i still watch the old lock down streams to this day.
I love that Mike has both Battleborn that's worth literally nothing, and the fortnite collectors thing that's worth proper cash
Yeah if you add up $$ value... Mike wins :p
More like this please! Would love to see a return of the "who has the most garbage video game collection?" challenge
To me Andy seems like he would store all his games in their cases on a massive shelf perfectly organized to make picking the right game a breeze. Then he shows up with his nightmare bundle of random discs, some of which are even double stacked
Jane's face when Mike pours the first bag . 😆 This was a fun one where you all just seemed to be enjoying yourselves.
"Oh no, Mike, no!"
Yeah and her reaction to the second one was adorable.
Andy, I love you. But your game disc binder is giving me flashbacks of working at GameStop. People who bring discs in to trade without the cases are basically monsters.
Its gets worse! He doublestacks! 😂
@@borjesvensson8661 I am disgusted. 🤣
@@borjesvensson8661 I'm not sure he does. I know for sure Jane does, because they were double stacked in the trade in livestream. I don't think Andy had his doubled up. Could be he said it somewhere and I missed it. I know they're not in alphabetical order. Mike keeps the boxes, but they're in a random order on his shelves.
@@borjesvensson8661 If he does doublestack its a worse form since there was a lot of empty spaces in that flipcase
@@SolaScientia I remember him saying when they were doing the metacritic challenge that he had opened a box and there were 8 discs in it, it's been while since my last re-watch but I mean that's as bad as double stacking or worse, i just remember him explaining how you had push them in there to close the box.
JANE'S CLARIFICATION DEBUNKING MIKE'S "WORKING TITLE" WAS SO QUICK IT REVERSED TIME
IM LITERALLY BACK AT HOME HAVING MY COFFEE
Jane: what is it?
Andy: a rabbids party game
So a successor to garfields pizza party has been found?
I was actually playing that the other day.
I found it in my own collection and thought "What is this and where did it come from?" 😛
@@dahn57 they should stream it!
1:07 I have clearly listened to Mom Can't Cook way too much because in my head I heard "An island of hope in a sea of sameness" 😂
There’s something quite sweet about Andy hugging his games to his chest like a beloved teddy bear
12:46 Andy looks genuinely disturbed at the working title of that round lol
Mike sat on that working title for so long that I'm genuinely impressed. Takes a lot of restraint to avoid putting all the gold on the table at once.
I really like these challenges they did during lock-down especially Mike's google translated one.
Love the genuine enjoyment Jane has in overseeing this competition. Never change you guys, you're the best
12:42
I see a cut in there, be honest: how much laughing did you need to cut out from this bit after MICHAEL JENNIFER CHANNELL went there? I specially appreciate how the editing cuts the music so that you can clearly understand what he is saying.
We need pictures of mike's puddle
Team Mike, discs in plastic folders is madness
but more space efficient.
Agreed! I like to be able to look at some of the box art when determining what older game I want to play.
I love Mikes chaos so much!
Mike, at home, diving into his pile of games, like Scrooge McDuck.
Only slightly less painful, too!
something so perfect about andy storing all of his discs in a DVD folder case while mike carried his in two bags and then dumped on the ground
12:46 Mike pls, this isn't OX after dark
As someone who works for a 'popular trade in company' I can confirm that no box means no money 😅 sorry Andy!
In the livestream version Andy got the trade-in value of a Guitar hero/Rockband accessory when he didn’t even have the box
These challenges assume that they have original boxed copies. They know that most of their games can't be sold. They're reviewers, so they get a lot of unresellable review copies
Loved the og stream back in the pandemic - love the couch version even more 😂
“Neatly organized folder” and “sack of games” tracks for andy and mike 😂
I will always comment when Battleborn is mentioned! All of my friends played it when it came out, and would spend day in and day out in full parties sweeping the other team.
I will never let it be forgotten 😭
I love how this immediately started with Mike grinning happily and Andy clutching his disk folder like "Don't take my games!" However I was not prepared for his bag unloading :P
Y’all should make more videos like these cuz I freaking love them 😂😂 also the cut after mikes rude joke has me wondering how long you were laughing/scolding Mike
🎶 To the left, to the left, all Mike’s games in their boxes to the left 🎶
Also on the right, everywhere really. I imagine the crew left the studio like Washington crossing the Delaware, atop the mighty green couch.
Yes! A sofa version of one of the first lockdown streams. Was this the one with the hot mic?
Most OxBox videos have a hot Mike :D
Sorry, couldn't resist!
The hot mic one was the live stream for the worst game review scores. I only know this cause I re-watched that last night lol, and re-watched the trade in challenge earlier today XD
I loved all these style streams, so I'm glad to see them make a return.
Andy’s games are all worth £0 to these companies without the boxes. Does Andy have the boxes stored at home? If we don’t get a definitive answer with evidence then Mike wins automatically
Idk - In the us sometimes GameStop will take them (but don’t count on it)
Andy mentioned on the 2020 trade in livestream that he recycles the boxes, so they are technically worthless. But Mike winning by default wouldn’t make for an interesting video
Many of their games are promotional copies, given for free but can't be re-sold (written on the disc), so they would all be worthless
The last one had me in a laughing fit and stitches. Happy to say, this one made me do the same. Loved it. Such consistency from the OxCorp! 11/10. Will recommend!
Was just watching the previous version of this, I’m so glad y’all did another! It’s like nice little nuggets of video game knowledge with funny interjections
Mike quoting Arrested Deveopment was a delightfully unexpected crossover event.
12:45 "Touch each other's junk." Well, if you guys didn't have a Rule 34 page yet, you will now.
I did not want this video to end. Loved the livestream from back in 2020, and this was a worthy successor.
I need this challenge to become a WWE-style rivalry between Mike and Andy. I’m so happy they did a version of this in-studio!
A sequel to one of the first videos/livestreams I ever saw of yours! I loved this, more like it please
Mike and Andy give such brother vibes. I love it
The way Mike and Andy store their games perfectly reflects their Hitman play style, if you think about it
That’s exactly what I was thinking. 😂👍🏼
I love that they still call it Leggle Marvos 😊
I want the uncut 2 hour version 😅
rewatched the 360 version they did on a live stream not to long ago, nice to see them revisit this with xbox one games.
Loved it how Mike still has all the game disks still in the box and that he poured them all over the floor just to show them off
As someone who has worked retail in a small local video game store for the past 5 years, it was really fun being able to predict every single one of these with scary accuracy. It is a great idea for a video and made me happy.
Ah! I watched all the pandemic streams in this style the other day. Im so glad these are back
YESSSS. i rewatched all the lockdown streams that were like this a couple of months ago and wished there were more, they were so good
Where can I find them? Is there a playlist?
Mike is so chaotic and I love it
I always enjoy the videos where your game collections come out for a rummage through. I'd love an extended length episode like this....maybe a stream. Would be cool. Love the channal, you guys are awesome.
That working title bit was hilarious!
Love these videos. More please!
I was going to judge Mike then saw my tower of xbox, xbox 360 and xbox one discs that I can't be bothered to put back in their cases. I'm a monster!
Yes, yes you are! 😛
I'm just imagining the hear attack some poor CEX employee would have if Mike walked in with his two rucksacks full of games.
Ahh!!! Finally a newer version of one of my favorite weekly live challenges. Just too bad it isn't 2 hours long like the first one.
The trade in challenge is back!! I loved the stream with this concept back in the day. Also, I really enjoyed Battleborn actually when it was a thing haha
Not even a minute in and I'm already cackling with laughter. You're all brilliant fun.
If the channel hits 3m subscribers, will Mike actually recreate the American beauty shot with x-box games to celebrate?
That copy of Evolve MIGHT actually be worth something!
I loved that game so much. One day I'll buy the physical copy of it to have it again for display.
I freaking love this. I watched the old version of this from years ago SO many times. Was it one of the early covid-streams? Have to go find it now and watch it a few more times.
The stream from around the same time Tate testing energy drinks was alao gold. I miss those kinds of shenanigans! Still love the channel though ❤
I really do adore these challenges XD It's fun to see what games everyone's kept and how much they're valued by the system!
1:02 Now we need an American Beauty Xbox game photoshoot with Mike
That shows how long it's been since I last played console games, I didn't know the XBox One / XBox720 / XBox3 was dead. I thought it was just all modern cross-compatible and functionally identical to each other.
I loved this video! I watch the Xbox trade-in value livestream so often and I am glad to have more of it
Love these vids! Would love to see OXtra do the same for other retro consoles too, seeing as I own a PS3, Wii, and PS2. Still 😅
If they ever choose to make an Oxbotra (charity?) calendar, they've already got the picture for one month figured out (Mike surrounded by his game collection, American Beauty-style)...
I love these challenges whenever you do them.
i love the idea for this video spawned off from discussing each other's collections of games and then competing against trade in value instead of quantity.
I love Andy's "oh crap" expression at 9:17
At least, I assume that's what that was.
I love these type of videos, the carnage, the banter, its so so good in all areas of this video. You are making me regret selling my Xbox 360 and my Nintendo 3DS XL (sad times). But, at least I will always have the memories.
I was hoping Mike or Andy would remember Child of Eden and see if either one has a copy of it.
I'll trade Andy a handful of magic beans in exchange for his binder full of games.
(Mike even goes Full Mike when it comes to buying up games. Just having and possessing them is what matters. No need to actually remove them from the wrapper or play with them.)
This was great. More stuff like this, please and thank you.
Until I watched the last video you guys did I had no idea that people *didn't* keep their game boxes. Feels crazy to me! Don't you like the cover art.....filling up the rack and seeing their spines?
I loved the live stream trade in from a few years ago. Glad to see this idea again. Less glad to see Mike's very Mike way to un-bag games. ㅋㅋ
ah yes.. 00:40 - you can see the sentimental value for Mike :D
"Lego Marvos" I love it
Legel
The disdain on Andy’s face when Mike dumped his games on the ground. ❤😂
I am so freaking happy
A. They're doing a live trade-in, I loved their original trade-in but it being virtual, I'm so happy to see them live.
B. Mike's madness,😊 let's my ADHD heart sing his duffel bag is the best
Both Andy's binder and Mike's chaotic avalanche of games hurt my soul. 😂😂
My takeaway from this is wanting to see Mike's games all tidied up into a single tower-stack to see how high it gets...
Wonderful video, thank you! I had a much needed laugh and smiled throughout
I love these kinds of video from you guys
I like this video. Just seemed like a casual hangout
The only thing I miss from lockdown is this kind of content from my favorite people.
The way Andy and Mike brought their games to the studio is a perfect encapsulation of their respective personas 😂
This really is the greatest video on oxboxtra since Andy rage-quit playing Stray on the Xmas Challenge the other year
I loved Andy's "Jesus" when Mike got that second bag looked so unscripted! Thumbs up to him lol
I missed these challenges! They were one of the few enjoyable things in the years that shall not be mentioned.
Where’s the hr long stream?! 😢 I miss those lol
Someday, Jane will master the technology to truly exchange people's happy memories for pocket change, but this will have to do for now
