One GREAT reason to be stopped. The bison are my favorite park animal. 6 summers and 3 winters working in the park and I never tired of seeing them. Since the flooding of June 2022, my entrance is cut off from the park. My closest entrance now is West Yellowstone (and a long drive to boot). So, lately, bison videos have been flooding my recommends.
We were indeed extremely fortunate and blessed to have had this experience. We're so sorry to hear of the recent floods and hope you will again soon have your easy acess to this true wonderland of nature. Stay safe.

@@dukainmanning7246 Me too! I'm lucky enough to have been to East Africa three times since my first trip there in 1980 and the experiences were truly magical! It definitely isn't wise to try and 'mingle' with most of the animals there!
Hi KIm. Thank you so much for viewing the video and for your nice comment! It was my third visit to Yellowstone from here in the UK and was as awesome as ever! My first visit was approaching Winter time many years ago and we crossed over the Beartooth pass from Billings in the snow. The very next day the pass was closed. This has become far and away the most popular video on my channel ahead of my dash-cam view of the Kancamagus Highway in New Hampshire. Thanks again. Stay safe.
@@shanghai264359 I live in Idaho and I've only been twice once in spring and what's in the fall and it was a very different experience each visit. I hope you keep coming back. Did you drive down to Jackson hole past the grand tetons?
@@kimmasuen4107 Yes, we stayed near Jackson Lake for a couple of nights before continuing to Jackson Hole and then on to Salt Lake City and later the Grand Canyon. We ended up in Phoenix before flying to San Francisco to visit family. We were in the US to view the total solar eclipse of August 2017 and our tour started in Billings MT. I've been to the States more times than I can remember since 1977 but haven't been since 2019 for obvious reasons. We are looking at getting back there soon. Take care. Tim.

I really want to go there. I love nature and this would be a great place for a Canadian like me to go to. We have the unbeatable Canada Goose here. It is not if you will get attacked with them it is when lol.
Hi Dan. Many thanks for your comments. We've now been to Yellowstone three times in different seasons and it was always awesome! We've seen Canada Geese in a variety of places but have yet to be attacked by one!
Unbeatable or unbearable. Bloody things are everywhere here in the UK. Breed like rabbits and leave their turds everywhere. However, glad to see our native Greylags are making a slow comeback

An amazing encounter indeed. Great shots as they walked by the car.

Awesome video!!!! Thank you for staying in the vehicle 🙂
Hello Dukain. We hugely respect the animals' space, unlike others seen in the video! Thank you again and stay safe.

The baby Bison are called "RED DOGS" because their fur is reddish and they are the size of a bigger dog when born.
Thank you so much for your comment and for the fascinating information too! Cheers and stay safe.

They are on the way to visit Old Faithful. Buffalo families are like tourists and like to site see too so they follow the highways.
Yes, and these were also being escorted by park rangers for extra safety.
