All Abored completely sexist lmao. what a world of double standards we have now. we have to appreciate and acknowledge all of the amazing fathers raising their children with another parent and/or without another parent.
She looked fairly ragged to me showing her ribs and rough-looking coat so I was going to guess that she was an older mother. But just because you can see their ribs isn't a clear sign of age so I could be wrong.
That was my first thought also. Right from the beginning, I thought "she must be a first time mum". Amazing that the herd might have instinctively known this and therefore tried to help her. It sort of reminded me of Elephants when they all get together to help a new mother.
@@mehboobkm2018 Yes, I believe that we women are instinctively in a protective mode when it comes to childbirth of family members. I love how the Mommy bison was so determined to find her little baby. Once, I watched a nature program about penguins. In the bitter cold, they band (huddle)together for extra warmth, especially to protect their babies. Well, one baby didn't make it. The mother was so sad. Then immediately, a lady penguin rushed over and put her wings around the grieving mother. My heart melted. Thank you, God.
So many amazing things about this video I appreciate: Natural sounds!!!! (Thank you for no melodramatic music- everyone one youtube these days is trying to make a music video or trying to make it "cool" by adding music): doing right by nature and not jumping in too early to assist: the imagery is amazing, almost mythical (water droplets/steam off the cow from the river). Just wow!!
romy Gime. The support from "auntie" impressed me too. Auntie: WHAAAT! What do you mean you lost? You left the baby!? Now you put your cloves in gear and move your hindquarters right back, and find him.

Great video. I know with cows It happens way more than you would think. Especially if they have twins. My son and I are bottle feeding a Bull calf now. because he wouldn’t follow his mother and she left him behind. Never searched for him. His sister however went on with momma. My neighbor (the owner) ask if we wanted have him and to attempt bottle feeding him. Or he would die. So we decided to give it a try. At first he didn’t want the bottle much and was so sad and weak he would just lay around. I honestly thought he wouldn’t make it past a week. But my son after a couple failed attempts feeding decided he had nothing to lose and began to treat him kind of like a puppy~ talking to him, petting him, named him. Making sure the milk replacement formula was warm enough. Finally little Redd perked up. He now responds to my sons voice. Follows him around like a puppy runs plays and jumps. With our 3 dogs. Lays his head in Stetsyn’s lap when we are sitting outside in lawn chairs. It’s adorable. He has lots of video and pictures from the start. He may start a vlog on his You tube. Anyway I was very impressed with that momma on this video, that she looked for her calf so long. Made me smile! 🥰

I had tears..😭 I keep watching the video and praying for them.. She such a good mama.. Praying God have Mercy for voiceless animals that need so much....
Thank you for sharing🙏
I was crying and praying dear Lord PLEASE show her the way back to her baby. And its WORK.
I am crying happy tears....I was sitting on the edge of my seat....What a beautiful reunion. The other Bison gave her encouragement....this was such a touching story, thank you
Rhonda Britt wonderful reuniom
Rhonda Britt I am glad I am not the only emotional one 😂😭
I love how the Mommy bison was so determined to find her little baby. Once, I watched a nature program about penguins. In the bitter cold, they band (huddle)together for extra warmth, especially to protect their babies. Well, one baby didn't make it. The mother was so sad. Then immediately, a lady penguin rushed over and put her wings around the grieving mother. My heart melted. Thank you, God.
Hats off for your patience to show us the reunion of a loving mother and her baby 🙏
You bet. Thank you so much for watching and commenting. I hope you can subscribe too. Best, Ron
Just wow!!
yes, all the music and annoying sound effects. ugh. and the bare arms/ tank top gimmick. ugh again.
Sheri - thank you for the feedback. Please do subscribe.
Cow? Really?
Quintessential Denouement you do realize a female bison is called a cow? 😉 so yes really.
Mel G I agree 1000%. I'd rather watch a video like this with natures background sounds then anything else. This was an amazing video.
Love the happy ending! I bet the calf has learned a lesson too. He's gonna be glued to momma.
Wow the moment 8:58 when the calf meet her mother I cried! And don't say thankyou for watching I we must say thankyou for making this video for us
This is the first time I subscribed right away! I love that there's no annoying music,no words,no human drama,JUST NATURE😻🙌🙏💗
Thank you so much. I have much more to post too. Thank you for subscribing!
Aww the poor little one so lucky mamma found him with some help from auntie Amazing beautiful story
romy Gime. The support from "auntie" impressed me too.
Auntie: WHAAAT! What do you mean you lost? You left the baby!? Now you put your cloves in gear and move your hindquarters right back, and find him.
@Anne Butzen Reminds me of a coworkers comment to me several times, when there was somethings I said "I don't no" to. Think Willi, T H I N K. It was a woman of course👍
Willi Ingulf Ditlefsen so funny 😂
This brings tears to my eyes! Such a sweet moment when the mom didn't give up on finding her baby, with going to get reinforcement to help, then come back and look even further and then find her baby, is just so sweet! I grew up going to Yellowstone at least 2-3 times a year, but haven't been in 10 years! It's a beautiful place with natural beauty unequaled ANYWHERE else! Thank you so much for sharing this incredible video!
Natalie Staheli EMOTIONAL SUPPORT they know better than some of my own family.
Natalie Staheli Thank you so much. I really appreciate your comments and posts. I love Yellowstone and didn’t get to go as a kid so now I go all the time as bigger kid. Please do subscribe if you can. Best, Ron
When you're a mom you do whatever it takes to find your baby. So glad there was a happy outcome.
How beautiful it is to see mom find her baby. It must be warm to walk close to mommy ♡♡♡
Thank you for commenting and forgive me for my delay in responding to you.
Thank you for not adding music. The content of this video has sufficient value in itself and even the best music couldn't add to it.
I actually posted a video showing a little bit of us feeding Redd. If anyone is interested 💜
Hopefully for Redds sake his mother at least nursed him so his immune system works. Bottle calf’s are a lot of fun and work!
What a beautiful share🐂🐂🐂🐂💕!
So moving! My heart almost stopped beating as I saw the calf all alone but Mum's instinct kicked in~~~
The amount of relief this video gave me doesn't have words to express. Because the video is so natural & you did a wonderful job by not adding the music
Pokemonitis Here - Thank you for the feedback. I had a lot of feedback about wanting to hear nature and the ambient sounds around me I wanted to give it shot. I am glad you commented that you prefer it that way. Very much appreciate it. Best, Ron
This act is more humanely motherly then half the world........ amazing!
The landscape is beautiful. Ahhh, the wonders of nature with these two beautiful bison finding one another.
@nickys34 plenty crap coming out from your end also... Not very clean mouthed are you.!!

It is so amazing that these mothers have the instinct to go back for their babies. She did not give up and I am so happy she did it. I love it that y'all step back and y'all watch to see what happens and if she never came back I'm sure that people would step in to take care of that baby but God led her back to that little one
Vicky - thank you so much for watching and commenting. Enjoy the weekend and please forgive me for my delay in responding.
Awesome video. Thank you for not ruining it with cheesy music or robotic voices!
I almost cried when it seam like mom had give up, but the happy ending came.❤❤

Was heartpoundingly worried for baby! How amazing.
All's well that ends well. Thank you for uploading this and for not interfering. It's hard to watch and not feel the urge to "fix" the problem.

My heart ❤️I just kept saying Mommy go back - Animals are unreal they are capable of amazing things this was heartwarming
When I met my first cow and her calf I could no longer eat beef. Cows are such good mothers........
So much more honorable than humans.
If you look at how humans treat each other, and then see this video, you start to wounder.

Thank you for showing the correct way to behave when we encounter wildlife. Beautiful video.

It's so sad that American hunters shoot these gentle animals as a sport
Amazing video, not like the touristy ones where they are only interested in getting that vacation shot. Pure nature. Thank you for sharing it.
Yes, silence is golden.

At the end, as mother & calf walked down highway, it was like:
Mom: "You scared the afterbirth right out of me! You're supposed to keep up with me right away!
God gave us the ability to get up and go, right after coming into this world! Now we gotta find your Aunty and catch up with our herd. Blah blah blah . . ."
Lol 😆
Lol
That was the scariest and sweetest moment. I cried the whole time
It's amazing how the herd always come together for the sake of one. Remember when a community use to more vigilant concerning as a whole for children, elderly etc. We can relearn what we lost somewhere along the way.
Agree - thank you for watching and commenting too. Please do subscribe.
I'm sure it's so hard to not intervene in some way in order to help, but it really is better to let nature do its thing. That mama surely wanted to find her newborn
Thank you so much - I just posted another story about a different calf and his mom and their river crossing. ua-cam.com/video/FKgMWB5QZDc/v-deo.html Please do give it a view! Best, Ron
Now the hell would give this video 3 dislike on a baby calf and its mother who found each other after getting lost after giving birth to its calf ..... It's rather sad when you hear about a new born found in the trash can because the mother didn't want her baby .... And here we have this animal who never gave up on searching for her calf .... That's a happy ending .......
@tђє ςคยϟє ๏Ŧ ฬєt קคภtเєϟ, you’re clearly all that’s wrong with this world.
Animal abusers will give it a thumbs down.

Born 20 min ago.... ohhh sweetheart... 😭🙏God take care of u both ❤🙏🙏🙏
The title could be misleading. The mom did not actually abandon the calf. She just did not realize the calf was not following. And she did go back for the calf.
Great point and thank you. Thanks so much for watching and commenting, I am very sorry for the delay in responding to your comment.
That title would grab a readers attention.
