Domestic Violence [Another song about child abuse]

So I've been trying to get into therapy again, but it hasn't really been working out. The therapists try to go into the direction of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), but I'm finding out you can't solve trauma with a checklist of facts.
This song is in reaction to that.

Maybe u should to go an another therapist with other technicals. Like EMDR and with a trauma informed.b Cognitive conductual used to be kind of invalidated with people with trauma.

This song hits too hard because I was physically, mentally/emotionally and sexually abused and neglected and had to watch people I cared for get hurt too.
I nearly cried when I first heard this.

This song is painfully relatable. I was molested by a teacher as a preschooler and suffered abuse at the hands of many teachers later in life. While my trauma is almost definitely different than yours, I sincerely hope you are doing the best you can be. I'm in therapy too, and it isn't exactly working for me either. Child abuse is one of the worst things a person can experience, and it pains me to know I'm not the only one who went through that hell. Best of luck, and may all abusers get their shit kicked in!

I'm gonna assume that this comment was made in good faith - I'm just gonna ask who this is targeted to.
Personally I'm a 27 year old, financially independent adult that doesn't live with family, so if you assume I'm being "attacked", thats not necessarily the case lol
