How Littlefinger could WIN the Game of Thrones!

- Little Finger is my favourite character in Game of Thrones. And I think I might be the only person who want to see him win, and finally sit his bony behind on the iron throne. But going into season 7, he is going to be backed into a corner, seemingly surrounded by enemies and allies who distrust him. Is this where the song of Peter Baelish ends? I sure hope not.
But he may just have one last trick up his sleeve. One last strategy to put himself on top and wipe out all his enemies. It involves the Vale, and a Horn. Lets take a look.

UPDATE: Littlefinger didn't win because apparently he forgot there is a thing called DEMANDING TRIAL BY COMBAT!!!!!!! Or more accurately the writers forgot about that, because they didn't know what else to do with him. Probably the dumbest death of the show by far
Yeah, King Tommen banned Trial by combat...and died 1 week later, so I´m damn sure the other houses in Westeros have not taken notice of this decret - and most of them wont care what a Lannister supported King calls out at all, of course including the whole north. It´s rather ridiculous to not call for "trial by combat" when you have no other Ace up your sleeves as Lord Baelish in this position. Baelish (I love the character, but dont like the nickname) has many sellswords and free knights in his service, but not at Winterfell that very moment. So by calling "trial by combat" he can buy himself some time, goi9ng to a prison cell... and with Varys and Tyrion coming to Winterfell soon the producers wasted a great opportunity for a final Varys / Baelish conversation... which had been great for sure - their conversations have been the best in the whole Show, maybe all shows ever made ^^

Yeah littlefinger is my top favorite. He is a self made man , who didn't let life beat him down but stood up and rise against all odds , and I am rooting for him for that.

I would like the Game of thrones to end with a shot of someone walking towards the throne while the chaos is a ladder theme plays, just after a huge catastrophe where lots of main characters died and then little finger takes his seat after fucking everyone over after a huge plan we didnt see coming

why is everyone giving this theory that Baelish will die in season 7. Personally I want to see him till the end or on the iron throne
Cuz all of the main characters are converging finally, importantly all the Starks, so the knowledge of his betrayal of Ned will come to the Starks. Bran could easily foresee it. Since he is stuck with them, Sansa and or Arya will definitely want to kill him for it. That important piece of knowledge can't be kept back much longer and that will be his ending.
Plus that bullshit love story they pulled out with Sansa... seriously.
The 2 first episode of the last season are really fucked up for him. he's beyond useless, he has 0 power over anyone.

I hope that the White Walkers aren't just orcs. That they have their own personal and understandable reasons for the invasions. Maybe there's something they're running from as well
John Porteous Well there is a story about a man having a relationship and possibly children with a White Walker so if that turns out to be true (as most seemingly throw away stories do) then they definitely have some sort of personality.
Well, they have spared people in the show. First, that kid in episode one who later died because he deserted but still. Then Samwell Tarly who was super dead if the White walkers wanted to kill him.
John Porteous i doubt the walkers and specially night king would run from anything more powerfull, what he did to viserion looked so easy, although he can see the future but still, he could probably kill all danys dragons by himself, he is beyond bran in power level

I'm actually that you mentioned something about his reign many people admit that he's smart but no one tried to actually imagine the great possibilities he can bring to the kingdom. Baelish can do horrible things while climbing to power but when he finally sits on the throne he would be the greatest king westeros ever had. Great video 👏
Littlefinger is my fav and I love to see him coming on top against all odds. But I'm very worried for him this season, basically everyone knows by now that he's a sleezy player without a moral compass.

You know who has learned these lessons? Jon Snow. In fact, he got it worse, with him being raised a bastard child, so he would know what he would have to do, and by surrounding himself with good people, he'd govern, not rule, Westeros. Littlefinger has ego, while Jon's humility would keep him in line.

Littlefinger has grown on me. One of the best characters on the show! And I really wish that he and Sansa could work out and that she won't kill him, but she probably will, and rightly so. But... His growly voice and soul patch are hot!!!

It's okay Bandit, my cousin also loves Little Finger. In fact during a special event for season 5 me and my cousin were invited and had to declare our houses so we could sit at the appropriate table. My cousin was the only one who declared for Lord Bealish, THE ONLY one....so he had to sit with the rest of the Targaryens with me and three others.
Littlefinger won't be King. He will create more turmoil amongst the Lords, but the things that you love kill you in Game of Thrones. He will die for what he wants, his schemes are backing him closer and closer into a corner.

It's a moot point now but I thought it was obvious Daenarys would land at Dragonstone, her ancestral home and also an impregnable fortress on an island - the perfect location to defend while planning her conquest of Westeros.

The NK is the show is seriously bad ass. I don't think he'll need any magical artifact to bring down the Wall. He helped build it thousands of years ago and he will bring it down now that the long night has returned.
I feel like that we Littlefinger-fans should have written season 7....... I would not have characters killed of like they did with Littlefinger. It was just dump and I feel betrayed. That was Stannis all over again. Even worse. Your story is so much more interesting..

If Littlefinger had the desires for justice and fairness for the smallfolk mentioned near the end of the video, he would already be working to implement them. One doesn't have to be the ruler to influence policy. History is full of influential people who were not head's of state, and a man as cunning and influential as Petyr Baelish could have achieved great steps towards such goals.

I like Littlefinger because my attachment to characters is related to the negative level of stupidity they have.
But Daenerys has the reach and dorne, right? Wouldn't that give her quick access to kings landing? Also, you said little finger would reform the society but I'd beg to differ. Because little finger isn't a stupid person. Giving anyone access to climb higher ranks means people like him will probably climb the ladder. He would be surrounded by the most ambitious and probably ruthless men in the country.

I equal parts admire and despise Little Finger. He has his faults but I think part of him did not want to see Ned executed. I believe he hates the game to a degree as well.

I wonder, what does the Erie do for provisions? It doesn't matter if their fortress is impregnable, a big army could just starve them out. They don't have many farms up in the mountains, and the only way in is through the bloody gate, so they should be able to be starved into submission.
In the books the Eyrie freezes up in winter, far from being safe from the walkers when they arrive it would be at it's most vulnerable, even if they didn't have to abandon it in the show it cant play a major role in the outcome of the story.

Well besides what you mentioned, let's not forget he was ripping off both the Lannisters and the Iron Bank, in the name of the Crown. So once the Lannisters are gone he can probably pay off the Iron Bank or if the IB is broken too, he can replenish Westeros with wealth he has accumulated.
Read up on Casterly Rock. They say that place can't be taken AT ALL and that it's higher than the Wall.

If anyone is a fan of old school Final Fantasy games, Baelish reminds of Kefka from FF3. At first he doesn't seem like a big deal but slowly is woven into the games ultimate villain which is similar to where GoT is going with Baelish imo.
