Super nice detail work on the Pilot and the flight compartment. I would buy one done like that in a heart beat. Looks fantastic. Too nice to fly! The whole model is awesome!
Very Very Well Done my friend , Wunderbar, Hobbyking could/Should learn a thing or two from you , the way you presented this video and to the finnish on the Mig was Superb , I cant wait to see it in the sky on its next mission real soon , thanks for sharing this with us all , Happy Flying ......
thanks man, and yes i was not very fond of the original paint scheme either, and she is a very good flyer, so with a little bit of work you get the best of both worlds, kind of ;), thanks for checking out my video man, cheers
Hi there. You did a really nice job repainting that plane. I'm thinking of buying one of these. Would this make a good first edf jet? I've been flying 34 years but all my planes are IC powered with fourstroke and two stroke engines. Can the Mig 17 handle slow flight well? Thanks for sharing your nice video. I enjoyed watching it.
Hi, and thanks for your nice comment, im glad you enjoyed the video. And the MIG does have pretty good slow flight capabilities (for a jet i mean), still i would not say that is is a good beginner EDF. I would recommend you start with something a little bit smaler / lighter maybe. The plane handles well in the air and on the ground, still she is not very forgiving if you do make a mistake during the approach or the landing. Maybe you should check out the Freewing BAE Hawk or the E-flite Viper for a first EDF. They are a bit more forgiving till you got a better feel for the slightly different throttle response and higher landing speed of a jet, the MIG would make a good 2nd Jet, thanks for taking a look at my video - blue skies
@@WarbirdFan66 Many thanks for your kind reply. I will look up the Freewing Hawk and Eflite Viper. I've also looked up the Freewing Avanti and Freewing Venom v2. I suppose throttle response is very different on a jet as opposed to flying my IC warbirds. The speed too is a big factor also with a jet. Thanks again for your advice and help. Kind regards and happy landings.
The coolest livery in a rc mig-17 out there. It's a MiG, it's a Soviet plane, and mostly you see all people flying it in an American and private/civil livery... I love the colors of yours
Thank you for your nice comment, and yes i was also not very fond of the original camo scheme, i thought that an a bit more military look wouldnt hurt, and a lot of countries flew that plane in the late 50-60`s, i also find it easier to spot in the air in that desert camo scheme, cheers :)
Nicely done my friend and beautiful Egyptian paint scheme, I love this jet, she loves full flaps and air brakes on approach otherwise she wants to keep flying, well done 👍
Thanks man, and yes i guess i have to learn how to fly her properly...i dont even have 25 min. on the stick with this one, thanks for stopping by, cheers
Thanks for stopping by, nothing groundbreaking of course, but not a country or colorscheme for that matter that i really on my radar, got me kind of a new perspectie, cheers
Fuck again not the first, oh well. Amazing video, love that you work with 3D printers now. Keep up the amazing work, even some gfc planes don’t look that realistic 😉. Would have loved to see the DDR color coat, but this one is also on top. Grüße vom Bodensee🇩🇪.
Fantastic work looks a treat.
thank you for your nice comment, cheers :)
Amazing work my friend. I love it. Big salute from Slovenia, Pilot Robert
