Mollyboy, we are not going to answer any of your questions. We are going to force you to discover Zep the same way we did. One fantastic song at a time. Enjoy. You're welcome.
When you take 4 of the most talented musicians in the world and put them together in one band, the question isn't what can they play. It's what can't they play? They do it all.
Back in the '70s, we grew up listening to Led Zeppelin. And if we were lucky, we went to a concert or two. But little did we know that some 40 years later, they would be called mighty, rock gods, the greatest band ever, etc. To us, they were simply Led Zep.
I listened to Led Zeppelin all through high school. My headphones on and off I'd go into the world of LZ. I had to have listened to at least one side of an album every night before bed. Most times both sides and a couple albums. They were my band. And today they still are. I am so happy we have You Tube and so many videos as I lived over an hour outside Chicago and tickets to concerts were impossible. Now I can watch whenever and I watch alot.
You've picked a winner MB!!!! Oh, please react to Zeppelin's "When the Levee Breaks". Do the album verion so you get the full effect of Bonhams drums and Plant on harmonica.
When this first came out, I was 14 yrs old. I used to sing the lyrics "we come from the land of ice and snow" as "I want to go to the ice cream store" 😂😂😂😂 One of my favorite Led Zep songs!
The first concert I ever went to was Led Zeppelin in 1971 and they started with this song - it was the most incredible sound I'd ever heard and I've never been to a better concert since. They are truly the greatest.
The shit we took for granted growing up in the70's🤦 We didn't know we had it so damm good with the music! I do now but then, not so much! It really brings it to the forefront just watching you reactions to "our" music Molly Boy! Thank you for this! You truly are a gem!
Gotta agree with this! I know in my case I simply accepted all the greatness in music as “the norm”. It really is mind blowing to look back on it now and hear the extraordinary ‘60s/‘70s spectrum of genres and styles, and the sheer quantity of great stuff we had to listen to. So many great groups, bands, duos, solo artists…super groups, bands that broke up and went solo or re-formed in new configurations. A phenomenal couple of decades. And there is a bunch of ‘80s greatness too! Badassery all over the planet.
Led Zeppelin wasn't just a rock band, folk band, blues band... They wrote and played what they liked... and they had a wide range of tastes. You can't listen to just 1 or 2 songs of theirs and put them in a category. They are all over the place and the amazing thing is they did all of it spectacular! Every member of the band was a virtuoso. If an artist starts out in another group becomes famous and then forms a new group with a bunch of other famous artists they refer to that as a Super Group. These 4 came together and were a Super Group before they became famous. 😁
The only response I have ever been able to make to someone saying "I don't like Led Zeppelin" is blank-faced disbelief, followed by "You f*cking what?" Although, that was the vicar and I toned-it down for him.
Every song is different and excellent!! God…. Love your enthusiasm! Like when we first heard it! I was 14 years that was 50 years ago!! I still listen and still get up and dance! The chills are still there!!❤️❤️❤️❤️RIP John Bonham! They were the best live!!

Another goodie - "Achilles last stand". Yes, they had no lineup changes thru their whole catalog, always Page on guitar, Bonham on drums, Jones on bass and keyboard, plant on lead Vocals.
As l've said before there's no bad song's by Led Zeppelin, this one is on my best list 1970, In the 70's l would record song's from FM radio on my battery powered Reel-to-reel recorder 📻. Led Zeppelin explored just about every genre of music they came from a rock and blues background but also did folk rock, progressive, psychedelic, hard rock, blues, or sometimes a mixture.
I am Canadian and I agree with the American below.. If you've only listened to 4-5 tunes from them then obviously you've only kissed the tip of the Led Zeppelin mountain of greatness...
True story..was dating a guy and after a few dates he showed me some family photos and when I saw his uncle in the group photo after a funeral, my jaw dropped. He said oh so casually "yeah..that's Uncle Jimmy". Now I knew this guy was English and his surname was Page but... OMG. 😳😅😮

Hello from America 🇺🇸, I must say Led Zeppelin is 🔥 I love Robert Plant , Led Zeppelin is the best rock band they are number 1 forever ♥️♥️♥️♥️ I love Robert plant voice ♥️
Robert Plant wrote the lyrics after the band played some dates in Iceland and this song is from their 3rd album. The audio for this video was taken from a concert in California that was synched up with a video was from a concert in Australia. The droning sound at the start was what Jimmy Page called the "LA drone" and they used to use it to get people going before the concert started. Led Zeppelin had all sorts of songs such as rock, rock and roll, blues, folk, hard rock, ballads, epics, progressives, you name it - they had it! Yes, Jimmy was the guitarist; he created the band and produced all their albums. Don't sleep on bassist/keyboardist, John Paul Jones because you truly needed all 4 to be the band they were. I would again seriously suggest you choose to take a deep dive into Zeppelin and listen to the entire catalogue in album/track order; it's truly an experience.
You will find that you discover a song for every mood with Zeppelin - you haven’t even scratched the surface as to how diverse and innovative they were. My favourite band for good reason and I honestly can’t wait for you to explore their catalogue as you’ve become one of my favourite reactors!
Maybe in the studio when he was producing. Live, he was definitely not. He valued creativity and channeling what came through without thought. He had the balls and he just went for it, trying to produce with his fingers what he heard in his head on the fly. Perfection was the LEAST of his concerns live
This! THIS is the first Led Zeppelin song I ever heard. It captivated me. I was a Junior in high school, eating lunch in the school cafeteria, when this song was played over the audio system. Neither the name of the song, nor the name of the band, were provided. So I had no way to find it when I went to a record store (the internet as we now know it did not exist, and even if it had, I would have had no way to access it at the time.) Unfortunately, I never heard the song again for about 5 years, until my (new) step brother played it for me: He wanted to introduce me to Led Zeppelin. He was shocked that I knew nothing about them, other than their name, and that they were hugely famous. I was shocked that the song I had been trying to find for the past 5 years was by such a famous band. Led Zeppelin acquired a new, huge, fan that day. That hasn't changed, 46 years later.
The added solo is so tasty. Ty for reaction sir! Jimmy is the Master. Bonzo follows Jimmy often with JPJ holding it down. As near all say, best band ever. Truthiness! 😊
This is Led Zeppelin & always has been. They're not a prog rock band, never have been. I find that people often request the ballads of their favorite bands, drives me crazy, but of course you can't have a LZ journey, or even just a rock journey, without Stairway to Heaven. But yeah, LZ are rockers all the way, with a lot of blues in it, too.
I was Roller skating on a Friday night in the 7th grade to this song… memories of the adolescent😂🙋🏻♀️🎸🥁We were 7th graders… only fun thing we could do on a friday night was get dropped off at the Roller Rink and Friday was ROCK MUSIC NIGHT♥️🎸🥁✨✨✨
Go down the rabbit hole of led zep!!!!! I think I can speak for just about any rock / metal fan that they are still the reigning greatest band and every one to this day is just following them
I consider them the best rock band ever, that's just me. Saw them in late 70's and I feel so privileged to have seen them. You have so much more of Zeppelin's music. You have barely touched them and why so many consider them the absolute best ever rock band. They are legends
Thank you, thank you! I like to joke that "Stairway to Heaven" might be the best Led Zeppelin song, but "Achilles' last stand" is the best song by any band in music history. First time hearing that one, it felt like being hit by ten minutes of a hurricane I desperately wanted more of the second it ended. 😎🌪️
I was in Birmingham, briefly, last summer, on my way to visit a friend in Coventry. Hello from New Mexico, USA! LZ is the best band to ever grace the stage! They took rock to a new level, and were the influence for all those that came after.
The huge reason that Bonham was irreplaceable after he died was that, contrary to many bands where the drummer basically sets the rhythm and that’s it, Bonham FOLLOWED Jimmy’s lead and could intuitively pick up where he might go in his extended solo’s. JPJ, when on bass, stayed glued to Bonham, making them one of the most powerful rhythm sections in rock. They and Moon-Entwhistle in The Who. Several others I can’t think of right now….
Oh man this was so damn great. My favourite Led Zep song! Glad to see that it melted your face off 😂 ‘Black Dog’ is a cool song, you should check that out!
John Bonham’s hair was on FIRE 🔥 with this song. What made him so amazing was that he would add an extra beat to the traditional drum beats. For years Led Zeppelin were approached for having this song featured in a movie. Their answer was always no, until one movie came along and they said, ‘Yeah. That’ll be cool’. 😎 Can you guess?? It was THOR-oughly good. 🤙🏻😎🎉♥️🎉🔥🎉 btw, I think the reason Stairway is so requested was because when it first came out, NO ONE had heard anything like it before (or since). It really was revolutionary. I don’t remember if you have reacted to Stairway to Heaven sung by Heart at the Kennedy Awards Center, but the guy on the drums was John’s son, who was playing with his dad’s drumsticks with a black band around them. When Ann sang the word ‘heaven’ at the end, he looked up to heaven in remembrance of him. Emotional and moving rock n’ roll moment. 🇺🇸🗽Coming to you from SoCal -Tustin CA 😎🎉🌻
Playing for Change - featuring Zeppelin's own John Paul Jones rocks "When the levy breaks"! Also Chris Cornells acoustic version of "Thank You " is simply perfect. Zeppelin to this day cannot be compared to any band I can think of. They are appreciated and admired by bands and fans alike. Thank you Molly Boy again for giving them the time and admiration they so justly deserve.
So awesome that all this music on the radio when I was growing up! I still have the album “Houses of the Holy.” Robert Plant is such a witty guy. I had VIP tickets to the Americana music festival and got to see Robert and Allison Krauss rehearse their song that was nominated for every music award in Americana/roots category that year. After they rehearsed that song, Robert did couple of Led Zeppelin’s songs. I was next to stage. After tv recorded the award show, Robert Plant did a mini concert doing 5 or 6 Led Zeppelin songs for those of us who stayed after the award show. He was so awesome! 😎 👏♥️
Omg, loving this reaction. From age 14 around 1978 I loved everything about Led Zeppelin. All my musical in flu started right here!!! Love it Bro. Rock on!!!
Black dog, Whole lotta love, When the levee breaks, Rock & roll, Ramble on, Dazed and confused..
Black dog was my favorite. I worked as a waitress when this came out and I put all my tips in the jukebox just to hear black dog.

Led Zeppelin are 1 of a kind. Very talented & every album they sound different. Very much for you to check out ❤
I get along with people who don't put music down. What others like for music, I respect their likes and you do that as well. A BIG Rock on MollyBoy
The added solo is so tasty. Ty for reaction sir! Jimmy is the Master. Bonzo follows Jimmy often with JPJ holding it down.
As near all say, best band ever. Truthiness! 😊
Yes!!! Finally! More Led Zeppelin!!! Best. Band. Ever. 🙂😁
Led Zeppelin - Whole Lotta Love 😎🔥🔥🎸🎸
People like to argue who is the best rock band, then you listen to Led Zepplin they just rise above other great bands
Excellent Reaction! Thanks again for making my day❤
It's incredible to think that both the lead and rhythm are played by Page. Only 3 instruments are played, what a full sound, packs a punch!!
I remember!
Zeppelin are also famous for playing each and every song DIFFERENTLY at EVERY live gig!! Awesome! Great guitar solo on this one for sure!
Led Zeppelin was always innovative. I just love them.
You're in for a great journey of Led Zeppelin. Saw them 5 times & they were awesome.✌️🌻🌻
Led Zeppelin - Black Dog (Live at Madison Square Garden 1973) (Official Video). This is another one that shows their hard rock sound.
I got into Led Zeppelin when I was 13 and I'm 47 now. Still love them as much as I ever did. Zeppelin's eternal.
Since I've been loving you, dazed and confused, when the levee breaks are essential 🙏
YES!!!
Dazed and Confused (studio) Black Dog, When the Levee Breaks, the list goes on. 😊 Best band ever.
achilles last stand by led zep is gonna blow ur brains
Thank you, thank you! I like to joke that "Stairway to Heaven" might be the best Led Zeppelin song, but "Achilles' last stand" is the best song by any band in music history. First time hearing that one, it felt like being hit by ten minutes of a hurricane I desperately wanted more of the second it ended. 😎🌪️
Their best song IMO.
I was in Birmingham, briefly, last summer, on my way to visit a friend in Coventry. Hello from New Mexico, USA! LZ is the best band to ever grace the stage! They took rock to a new level, and were the influence for all those that came after.
1972, I wasn't even a teen, but my big bro was, and he taught his younger sibs all the great stuff, including Zep!
Rock on MollyBoy! 🔥✌🏽
I was 8 in 1972 but my brother was 24 so I’ve heard Zeppelin my whole life☮💜
The huge reason that Bonham was irreplaceable after he died was that, contrary to many bands where the drummer basically sets the rhythm and that’s it, Bonham FOLLOWED Jimmy’s lead and could intuitively pick up where he might go in his extended solo’s. JPJ, when on bass, stayed glued to Bonham, making them one of the most powerful rhythm sections in rock. They and Moon-Entwhistle in The Who. Several others I can’t think of right now….
It’s the deepest rabbit hole of all ! You still have no idea, but you’re getting there. Love your reactions
I’ve always seen Robert Plant as in a class of his own. He uses his voice in an instrumental way, sometimes even percussive. Phenomenal.
Oh man this was so damn great. My favourite Led Zep song! Glad to see that it melted your face off 😂 ‘Black Dog’ is a cool song, you should check that out!
Probably the greatest rock band ever.
This is my favorite Led Zeppelin song! 🤘💖
One of my fav songs with Led Zeppelin, glad you like it too Mollyboy! Thank you for your absolute fantastic reaction! ❤️🔥🌟🎶 💚 🇸🇪
As a 30yo brit from the West Midlands, Led Zeppelin are one of my all time favourite bands! Just fantastic
"Black Dog", "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You", "When The Levee Breaks", "D'yer Mak'er"(sounds like Jamaica) & my favourite "Since I've Been Loving You".
Omg, loving this reaction. From age 14 around 1978 I loved everything about Led Zeppelin. All my musical in flu started right here!!! Love it Bro. Rock on!!!
Dazed and Confused... Gallows Pole... When the Levee Breaks...
3 mandatory songs!
Thank you for listening young man, Led Zeppelin the Best of the Best, many good memories growing up with this great music😊 From Australia
Thats Led Zeppelin for you... something new and exciting ( even magical ) everytime you listen/watch to them ✌️😎
They different than other bands, and each of their songs was different from each other. Amazing creativity!
