Those scenes even made the audience uncomfortable, genuinely hate them at the same time it gives you a different perspective of jail. It makes you rethink a lot of the things you do and people you hang around. His character was just a normal dude the was hanging w his boys while one of them was getting setup for murder. Granted they never should’ve even gotten sentenced but once in there his life was totally changed for the absolute worst. Absolutely 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 he didn’t get enough praise & support for being brave enough to do that scene & it’s sad. I wish the interviewer gave him props instead of trying to make him feel weird & uncomfortable all over again.
The movie also does well to showcase the three realistic perspectives that all people are separated into during their arrival to jail. You're either the guy who stays out of the way to get through their sentence (Avery), the guy who thrives in jail and most likely to get institutionalized to extend his sentence (Cash), or the guy who absolutely not built for that environment and is the fresh meat of the inmates (Dre)

It's so sad when you sell your soul then it haunts you for the rest of your life. I feel that brothers pain because the way he speaks about that role after all these decades later seems like he wants to cry about it right now. Lesson learned never compromise your integrity for money and fame.
The only two movies he did where their was any sus activity was 3 strikes and lockdown. But his character was violated in both films it wasn't consensual nor did he ever play homosexual.

I get what you're saying, but it's very rare that someone gets R'd in prison these days. The majority of people who do those things willinelly do it. They're usually on drugs or owe someone money and that's how they get their fix or pay their debts off. They haven't really been r.peing since the 70s and 80s..It still happens but it's usually mentally ill people.
All I know is that's Stacy...and will forever be Stacy to me.. The Wood is one of my fav childhood movies...He deserved an award for that movie and locked down
It’s kinda fucked up to see how uncomfortable the scene really made him but I can honestly say that the movie lockdown was so terrifyingly accurate at portraying prison life that it made a lot of kids including myself think twice before we did something stupid and honestly I don’t think the effect would’ve been the same without that scene💯

Hi Something I have been in search for quite sometime is a connection with somebody that goes beyond vanity. It's very hard to do in this day and age. People can be, somewhat very superficial. On my quest to achieve this I have learnt a lot about human nature. It seems to me that those who are not given traits such as beauty or being wealthy are some of the nicest, kindest and generous people. While the "gorgeous" and well off seem to be the most arrogant and greedy people out there. Of course that's not to say there aren't beautiful kind people out there. I've been in the process of change for a while now and I have made some decent changes. I saw your profile and it intrigued me. I wanted to learn more about who you are and what type of path you would like on in life. Can we talk?

I laughed at that part too 😂 this was sad though. I hate that movie. Traumatizing.
Bruh it’s acting, it’s not that deep… or is it👀
I appreciate this young OG. He's a phenomenal actor. Respect! !
That’s real, he did his job professionally but it took a piece of his soul smh appreciate the honesty 💯
As much as he regrets that scene somebody needs to let him know that that kept a lot of young men out of jail he needs to be uplifted in understanding with that seem did so he doesn't feel shame

I love him as an actor and I appreciate his honesty. That was not only humiliating but like he said it didn't resonate in his spirit cuz it's dark.
Damn. Why do something that still gives you nightmares years later? It's not worth it. They broke him .
but hey in america its money over everything
I'm pretty sure anybody would do that movie, if they were offered the amount of money this man was paid 😂 stop capping

Because your a man of GOD, and your soul is true. This is why his spirit was vexed.
That scene and every other like it was an abomination and disrespectful!

Scenes like that helped keep my azz out of jail 😂
He played the hell out of his part I only watched it once and that had me scared straight and I’m all woman ❤😢 till this day I still can’t rewatch that movie that was heartbreaking i’m glad he did the movie. It may have prevented a lot of people from being repeat offenders.
I seen the movie Lockdown when I was in middle school. When I first saw the movie I didn’t know what it was about (I was a kid) I just put on a movie I found. Man when I tell you this movie scared me straight it’s the truth. I never wanted to do anything that landed me in jail. I had to turn my eyes a few times just from the brutality. Scary stuff man I had flash backs for weeks.
It's so sad when you sell your soul then it haunts you for the rest of your life. I feel that brothers pain because the way he speaks about that role after all these decades later seems like he wants to cry about it right now. Lesson learned never compromise your integrity for money and fame.
It ain't never worth the money💔....classic actor

The only two movies he did where their was any sus activity was 3 strikes and lockdown. But his character was violated in both films it wasn't consensual nor did he ever play homosexual.
Always enjoyed watching him in whatever roles he played. He's unique ain't no other actor like him. His accent is fly too...

He’s just an artist.
Hopefully he understands that if he took that back, a lot of you guys would be in jail givin head

Have you seen these comments? These kids think it’s funny. Many aren’t seeing your prospective.

He hate to hear that but steady asking him follow up questions to it. He knew what the answer was gonna be before he asked that first question. Big ups, Mr. Bonds. You’re a good actor, and a strong Black man. Props.

Hi
Something I have been in search for quite sometime is a connection with somebody that goes beyond vanity.
That movie 🎦 freaked me out as a kid growing up, I feel for this brother because even tho it's not real its acting.. The spirit and the 3rd 👁🗨 knows, when your soul doesn't agree with what your flesh is doing...
