If you don’t have two keys, the door code can be found in one of three places: - A small sticker on the inside of the trunk lid, or on trunk lid arm, or the lip around the trunk, or the lip around the hatchback, or the hatchback arm.. the point is that it may be in a location that’s not easily visible from normal view - Glove Box. Sometimes there’s a little cars with the passcode numbers. Flip through the owners manual if it’s still in the car. - Inside the drivers door panel. This requires removing the inner skin and accessing the ‘guts’ inside the door. Typically there is a small black box near the lower front of the door, and in bold printed writing, on the keypad ‘solenoid’, will be the five digit code.
Thanks a bunch!! Called ford dealership before this and they instantly recommended I bring it in for service, “needs to be hooked up to a computer etc”… saved me a bill. Thanks!!!
Thank you so much. Just bought a used F150 and figured I'd have to go to the dealer. I have the keyed FOBs (not push button) and the owners manual only tells you how to get the code with the electronic FOBs. Your tip worked like a charm.
@@gretchen4677 hi! I found it under my steering column. Its right there on a white sticker just above the brake pedal slightly to the left side as you’re facing the brake pedal. Thanks.
You're the greatest brother. Thank you soooo much. My hats off to you. Stay safe and enjoy your videos. I've got a 2000 Ford Excursion Limited 4x4. This doesn't work. LoL😥😥😥😥😁😁😁
This worked like a charm! It took a while for me to find the place to insert my fob, but finally got it. 2019 Ford Explorer, inside the console there is a vertical slot at the far front inside the console. Slip the fob in there with the buttons facing the front of the vehicle. Then follow the video instructions.
Wow! This is so easy! I have a 2104 Ford Fusion and went to the dealership hoping to get my code ! Well, didn't happen! Thank you so very much for this video! Good to know there are some good honest people left in this world!!
Some additional hints: 1) It's 4 seconds on the first key. That's four ringtones from the vehicle after starting. Not 5 seconds. Not 3 seconds. After exactly 4 seconds, you turn off the car and switch keys quickly. 2) On the 2013 Ford Fusion, it displays the code backwards. If it displays 12345, the actual code is 54321.
Thanks Jorge, I just had to rescue my dad with his company truck and this will be useful... next time he locks the keys in his truck. “Trick” worked on the 2013 F-150 Eco-Boost.
Thank you Thank you Thank you!! It took a couple of tries, but it eventually worked! I have been around and around with the dealership that my son bought his 2018 Fusion from with absolutely no luck. He bought it used and there was no card with the number on it with the paperwork like there normally is. I brought the car back, sat there for 2 hours only to be told that they couldn't find it. They also said that they could keep it for another 4-5 hours so they could pull things apart to "try to find it". That was going to cost me for labor and I wasn't about to pay. We left it with the Service manager trying to email someone to get it -- that was in July and no one ever got in touch with me. I wish that you worked closer to Maine so that I could buy my next Ford from you!
Wow... sorry to hear you didnt get the help you needed from your local dealer but glad you came here. I am glad I could help. Please help me by sharing and liking this video! Don't forget to subscribe 😀

Thank you so much! I tried to find it under theinside panel but it was impossible to read and I could not get a photo at the weird angle. I appreciate you for posting this, nice clear instructions!
Managed to get this to work on a 2016 Ford Explorer - thank you for saving me some cash! The spot was a small, rectangular hard pocket at the very front of the center console (not the storage directly under the dash). I put my keys in there, buttons facing towards the dash, with the keyring portion facing down. I don't know if the order you put the fobs in matters but I marked one of the fobs and tried it both ways (marked first then unmarked first). Driver's door was closed but I don't know if it matters. It took a few tries but my problem was that I was turning off the car just slightly too soon.

Hey Jorge, your video was great. Unfortunatley, your video described a (2) key process. I bought my car from Carvana and gotr only (1) key and they provided no keycode for my 2018 Lincoln MKZ Thanks
I have a 2005 Ford Freestyle unfortunately there is only 1 key and fob so going to try it and also the other options I saw in this post, hopefully I figure it out.

I filled the direction as provided and nothing. So, apparently it won’t work on a 2006. Thanks for the info, your assistance is appreciated.
Good video, be sure to close your doors and ensure the entire system is off then start the sequence. If your door is open this WON’T work for the “keyless” entry 2015 F-150.

I’ve tried your video, but it hasn’t displayed the code. It looks like you place fob, press start, wait press start, remove fob one, place fob 2, repeat as with fob one, then code pops up.
