As a wearer of the fashion myself, it's great to see lolita getting representation and not made out to be weird like a lot of 'documentaries' tend to do.
I love the look of Lolita fashion, but it seems like it would be somewhat cumbersome to wear and maintain. As a Loli, what are your thoughts?

I'm only going from what I've heard a friend of mine call herself. Given the response, there's clearly some kind of connotation here that I don't know about.
@@girlunrepentant1254 we have enough trouble with the name lolita due to a completely unrelated book of the same title. but shortening it to "loli" is even worse. i dont know if you are familiar with hentai (japanese cartoon porn) and the terms it uses, but to put it shortly "loli" has very bad connotations. we are trying to distance ourselves as a fashion community from misconceptions some people have about the fashion, and words which have other, more perverted meanings arent helping with that.
Another dollmaker who does a lot of Lolita style outfits is dollightful. I definitely recommend you check her out if you haven't already.
I think that this is my favourite doll you've ever made! obviously her clothes and accessories are beautiful, but I think it's because her skin in this one is so beautiful and often times the only point of constructive criticism I can find with you dolls is that you maybe over shade the skin on them, but on this one you really nailed it and it goes so well with the doll. Beautiful job!
Yes, sometimes I wonder if her dolls have a bit of a sunburn or uneven tan! I loved the gentler skin tone on this doll.

You should make a sweet lolita, a gothic lolita, and a classic lolita with all 3 big MH dolls!! The three biggest substyles of lolita would be so cute on these, so they're all unique but still compliment each other!
I love when you re do larger sizes dolls like this one because it's easier to see you doing the details on her face

I think this every time I see your mom making the outfits for your beautiful dolls, she’s got such young looking hands! I inherited my mothers rather bony hands and playing the piano from a young age left me with long fingers so my hands used to look as though they belonged to someone much older than myself. I’m an artist, constantly studying people and their unique qualities (even when I’m not), and I always notice how youthful your mother’s hands are. Just wanted to get that out there. 😊

If you want to make another one lolita doll it would be really cool to make a gothic lolita doll. With this sweet one side by side they will look absolutely gorgeous!
Talking about different ideas - I really like dolls in historical looks. Recently you've made extremely beautiful Marie Antoinette doll, so maybe one more, but different country and from different era? Maybe The Italian Renaissance, The Victorian era of England, The Muromachi period of Japan or Silla, that was located in southern and central parts of the Korean Peninsula? :)

Ooo she turned out so pretty! I love the colors of her hair and her face. I remember when you first made a big doll and showed your face for the first rime! The chanel has come a long way :D I really enjoy these big dolls. I was thinking maybe make a historical doll? Since it would be possible to make a very fancy dress for a big doll. I was thinking maybe 1860's with a big fancy bonnet, or maybe a pretty house of Worth dress. Or edwardian era (also fancy hats, haha) or maybe a flapper with all 20's bling? Haha that turned out to be a lot of ideas ^^;

I had a random idea for a big doll. I don't know if it was a thing outside of the US, but back in the '70s roller skating was huge and I think a large flexible doll would be perfect to make a funky '70s doll with rollerskates, maybe platforms, bell bottoms, Farrah Fawcett/Pam Grier/Diana Ross/Cher hair, etc. Could be really fun.

Super beautiful repaint, I love the concept as I am a wearer of Lolita for over 5 years, but might I suggest a little less mixing patterns when you do another? It would really help to have a more cohesive color pallet when referencing Lolita. 👍🏻
