How to: Siren / Glitter Mermaid Doll - Monster High Mod Repaint Tutorial

- Hi guys! A lot have been asking for a Siren or evil mermaid doll, so today we're doing my take on a Siren ^^ It is still a glitter mermaid, because I have a thing for glitter, so why not ;P I hope you enjoy - let me know if there is any other dolls you would like to see me make :)

Doll (Monster high or barbie)
Acetone
Mr super clear
Water color pencils
Chalk pastels
Glue
Glaze
Doll hair & eyelashes
Polymer clay
Wire
Tin foil
Painters tape

I love this one, the additional detail of the fins & the eyes which remind me of Lost Girl, give it an edge over the more cutesy dolls. Well done yet again.
A cervitaur (deer centaur) would be AMAZING, I think your style would fit one gorgeously!!
If you do one of these, I would love to see you sculpt in musculature. Today's tail seemed a bit undefined, and I kept wondering how she would move it to propel herself in the water. Your sculpts usually take into consideration the natural musculature needed for natural posture and movement.
I love love when you do mermaids. Would like to you do decide with elaborate tails from different materials like shells, beads or feathers with different colors

how bout a rainbow set of mermaids? not a rainbow mermaid, I mean one mermaid in every color! so you already have pink and blue, how about a yellow, purple, green etc. it would be fun to see them all in a lineup! c: you can also make them different kinds of mermaids, they don't all need to look the same and have the same kids of tail for example.

I'd still like to see a deep sea mermaid, dark black eyes and Bioluminescence (glow n the dark paint).. kinda goth..maybe even white hair (since most deep sea animals are see through)

Do the bird sirens. The original sirens. They are much like harpies. People don't know this but if you look at mythology or artifacts of the past you can see the difference.

They can breath and speak underwater. Siren is a mermaid too but the sirens have evil nature,they are deadly and they eat human. They hypnotize humans with their shrill voices and cause them to die.Sirens have webbed hands,cat claws,piranha teeth,fins,prickly darkly tail and their face and eyes are ghostly but the sirens can turn into beauty and they can dressed into human. This is the difference.
And they sirens can control the weather and they can make natural disasters.
And sirens are immortal,while mermaids are mortal

I LOVE THIS DOLL HOLY SHREK NUGGETS. May I suggest some critique tho? I suggest "blushing" the doll on more than just the face, like maybe adding a small undertone of pink or whatever to the stomach and joints. I'm no expert, but I feel like it really brings the doll to life, ya know? This is the only video of yours I've watched so far, so I dont know if you usually do it on your other dolls uwu

Also how do you display this? Since the tail doesn’t move I am wondering how this position helped it with a display? Unless you made a display for it?

The hair, face, and color scheme greatly reminds me of a character of mine, Mydi. (The only difference is that Mydi has legs--but that tail would match her perfectly!)

kayleigh kay eBay, love, is where I get mine, but that's because amazon will charge Canadians nearly double the eBay price for a small can of it.
She answers this all the time, she has to get it outside of Denmark - see her other vid comments first. Also, as it is an Aerosol, it is against postal laws & The Dangerous Goods Act to ship it to so many countries (including Australia). You need to check for your own local area distributor, as it's not the kind of product that can be mailed worldwide safely, like pencils or clay. Even if you do buy it on Ebay, your postal service may still have the right to return it to sender or to just destroy it.

Oooh so beautiful! I’ve said it many times before and I will say it again, you are truly a gifted artist :) you should make a yellow/orange combo mermaid next so you can have a new series called “rainbow mermaids” as you have already done the pink one, and now you have done the blue and green one, the next one should be yellow and orange and maybe red and purple for the next dolls :D just a suggestion!
