What to do if your edible ink printer won't print a color at all...The nuclear option.

If you’ve tried all the normal cleaning method for your clogged print head and it still won’t print, you might want to try this. DON'T DO THIS FIRST, it's not guaranteed to NOT damage your print head, so only try this if you absolutely can't get it to print after you've tried all the normal cleaning methods!
AGAIN...Only do this if you've tried everything else first. Really.

It really worked!! Thank you! Had problem with canon printhead and edible ink. After cleaning it multiple times still.didnt get either magenta or blue or black. After dishwasher works like brand new!

That's great! I've also started soaking the print head in a non-toxic cleaner that I get from Icing Images for a few hours then shooting the cleaner through the print head, that seems to loosen it up.

Mine is a hp
