Why only fill them twice and not 3 times? What happens if you fill the cartridges more than twice??
I used to refill them three times, but i found that i was getting more clogs, so i limit it to two.

THANK YOU BUT I AM CONFUSED TO WHY YOU COOLED IT THEN RECOOKED IT AGAIN
It saves time to cook it then cool it off and store it for later. To reheat it you can ut it in the microwave and heat it in a pyrex cup 10 seconds at a time and stir it in between until it melts. That way you can take the time to cook a whole bunch at once, then you just have to melt it when you need a little bit.

Thank you for this tutorial, it really is a game changer. I do have a question, for example it we paint these 'gold' or whatever colour, do we do this prior to freezing, after or it doesn't matter? I will be using detailed moulds for the accents. Thank you
I would probably suggest to wait until they warm up and come to room temperature to avoid any condensation that might form on them as they’re thawing out. It might work to do it ahead of time and let’s then warm up without touching them, but if condensation does form i think it could affect anything you painted on.

I saw your review on the Amazon page then (somehow!) found you when looking for a review of this kit. I saw all your swatch tests for the junior kit colors. I hope you plan to make similar videos for these electric colors! I'm very interested but unsure how different they are from the junior set.

Can you do that on a butter cream too?
It might work if you had the buttercream really cold and hard to begin with, but I don't think it would be as good an image as it would on fondant.

How do you unfreeze them? In the fridge or counter? For how long?
Let them sit out at room temp for a few minutes, they warm up pretty quickly.
How long do you leave it on before pulling it off
Not too long, maybe 30 seconds or so.

How do I stop it from printing my grey so green?
When you adjust the color turn the green down and the red up. That will counteract the green in the grey color and make it more neutral.

Any Canon printer will be fine. Make sure that the one you buy has cartridges that are available in edible ink form.

Hi. My printer isn't printing yellow. Tried deep cleaning. Opening vacuum, manual print head cleaning. Deep cleaning again. Still not printing. Any other thing I can try?
Try shooting hot water through the print head using a plunger syringe…. Sometimes the pressure will loosen whatever’s in there. If it 100% won’t print after all of that it might be time to replace the printer.

How long do they last on either a buttercream or fondant cake. Can make my cake ahead?
Moisture will damage them, so if condensation forms on the cake when it's taken out of the fridge that can make them sag. If it's at room temperature then it's not going to be much of a problem.
