We saw you in Williams Lake yesterday! You were a few vehicles ahead of us at the lights by A&W. I was ridiculously excited to see you, my partner was laughing at me.😂 We love watching your videos .
I'm an early riser. My cabin has no plumbing, so under the stars for my morning pee. No light pollution out in the bush, I can see all the stars in the sky. -2c with a bit of frost on the ground. Turn on my TV, go to UA-cam, and you just dropped a vid. 43 views when I started it. 1500 when I was done. Kinda neat knowing there are fans all around the World, checking out your drops in different time-zones, in all different environments. Hope you are all doing well. Growing up in Rupert, I developed an appreciation for a well built wooded boat. They have a history. Got to work at the yacht club the summer of 2000, and met people from all around the World. The old wood sailboats always caught my eye. Just elegant. Wrecks intrigue me. Half-rotted ribs in the sand have a story. I like how you hunt down what history you can find. You are a good tour guide. Just wondering, have you ever named your Swellfish? Sounds like Mick was in the boat for sec. "Nobody likes a sloppy wet box". Geezus. The dirty old man in me almost pissed myself laughing. I do miss the seafood living in the bush. One flavour I remember from my youth, my dad would make crispy shrimp, and he'd add a couple of dashes of Tabasco sauce. Try that next time, and it has to be the big T. Cajun it up a little bit. Time for a second cup of java, and another viewing. The scenery is so nice, you have to check it out the vid twice. Nice Job, safe travels, cheers :)
Thanks for the video. I worked as a cook in Skagway 1979-80. I loved the place and hiked all the trails. It's a little claustrophobic though. So after a life in the lower 48, I came back. I'm now retired living 16 miles south in Haines. Love it here.
Lol, You are hilarious Dustin 😂 Emmie is such a bright star addition to the show. Her smiles makes me smile. You say when you are a big show, I say size doesn't matter. This is one of the best channels on my list. Top tier for sure.❤
This story really resonates with me. As a defense contractor, I spent a lot of time in Maine supporting the shipbuilding industry - specifically warships built in Bath, Maine. As always, thanks for taking us with you, Dustin!
Back in the mid to late '50s, I spent several summers in Lund, B.C. and worked on a Salmon troller for a few weeks. In winter they'd put away the Salmon rigging and set up for Prawns. On the way back in, they'd cook them and sell us kids a large bowl of fresh, piping hot Prawns for a dollar. Once, my aunt's neighbor gave us each a bottle of homebrew beer (with my aunt's permission) to wash down the Prawns - talk about heaven for 14 year olds. The fishermen had grown to know me and told me of some of their spots. One thing they all agreed on was a minimum depth of 300 ft to get into quantities of large Prawns. Man, were they ever good.
I have always appreciated how you have put a story to many things that most of us have no idea even existed. I really really enjoy your it's like a documentary but it's got a lot of entertainment to it thank you I appreciate it.
It's 8 pm on a Saturday night and my favourite adventurer and vlogger has uploaded his latest gem. A former Eco-Tourism operator from Banff sends you and Ms. much love across the Pacific Ocean. Mabuhay from the Philippines. ♥ Now where did I put the popcorn?
Dustin, I adore your content. Thank you for doing what you do. I wish you the utmost happiness in life, destinations, and adventures ! Much love, from Sask
Emmy is clearly a big part of Your life! We love seeing her in your videos, and as she is sharing this whole experience with you! , It would be cool to hear Her perspective of places. Sharing her experience views.. she’s too quiet❤️. Instead of saying “Emmy thinks” … she should be filmed saying it herself… She is an extremely special gal, doing this life with you!
Yet another incredible video which I saved for after my day foraging white and golden chanterelle mushrooms here on Vancouver Island. Nothing bets the bounty that surrounds us ❤
My wife and I look forward to new videos each week. We like to see Emmi on the shows. We like the back story of history you share on the sites you visit.
I was in the exact same spot in Dyea you filmed the opening in May 2023. We had the opportunity to go horseback riding through the forest and into the valley. Absolutely gorgeous landscape. As always, thanks for sharing!! Happy Adventures!!
Could you leave the thank you at the end of the video on screen a few seconds longer. Almost always have to rewind to read it all. Love the videos and the places you take all of us. Thanks.
No better way to start a Saturday morning with a cup of hot Joe and watch Emi and you taking us along on your adventures! Great content guys , stay safe🇨🇦👍
Absolute best way to start a Saturday! By waiting for the newest Destination Adventure video to drop haha, Thank you both! Much love from the east coast in NB.
Haines is pretty much paradise! I did a housesit there 15 years ago. The boat trip to Juneau and back remains etched on my mind as a lifetime highlight.
Where’s my Saturday Morning extended Coffee Family at? Hit brew and grab a seat. Let’s go Dustin and Emi! Been to Skagway 3 times so I can’t wait to see what adventures you get into this week. Love the transitions at 8:30 Dustin. Smooth.
No a man for elegant words but thank you a thousand times over. Your videos take me to a better space and I'm so greatful. Our travel rig is taking shape and I can't wait to hit the road. Best wishes and safe travels
Dustin so nice to see you went into skagway and Dyie? In 1998 we were in the area went to Dyie and looked around and found the old trail up the mt pass i went up part way where the stairs are sat there and closed my eyes and thought of the old timers on there treck up North for Gold get experience . Skagway we stayed in the campgrounds by the cruise ships for 4 days walked all over skagway went on the old Yellowstone tour buses as well and the owner of the fleet of yellow buses invited us to his shop that was cool lots of History anyway thank you for this adventure it reminded me more and more of what we did in the past thank you⛏️😀p.s. and we went on the Skagway train which was awesome . Take care 🇺🇸
You are so awesome to tune into, but today was extra special (again =) ) ... my cousin just returned from her Princess trip to Skagway and took the White Pass train tour ... so cool to hear her experience and share your adventures with them this morning--so much history!! And to add what a special moment for you both to be able to capture the Princess alongside your Adventurewheels!! So many memories to have for a lifetime!! Have a glorious week!
Hello from Idaho! I traveled to Skagway on the Alaska Marine Highway. Our time in port was short due to the tide, so it was nice to see what I couldn't get to. Thanks for the best part of Saturday❤
Duuude! Great video!! Once small bit of crabbing advice that helped me when I crab in an unknown area…zip tie/wire tie a chicken leg to the outside of your bait box, (inside the pot) so the crab can actually get to it….as one tears into it, it creates more of a scent, others can smell it, they come in crazy for it…and then they have some food that will keep them busy until you pull….its insane! I’ve gotten over 25 dungies (male and female) in pots!! It’s a guaranteed method….there, the secret is out:)
Another fantastic video Dustin , I’m off to google that boat now to read of its life and history I can’t believe it was mostly still complete into the early nineties I am quite envious of all your seafood meals 👍👍🇦🇺
Another great video! I think it’s awesome to have a no plan plan like this when you’re out adventuring! It’s where the best stories come from. Cheers. 👍🏻👊🏻🍻
Good morning Dustin! Nothing better than having coffee and doing some exploring to get the weekend going! Looks like you're eating good again thanks to your expert skills and a bit of good luck out on the water. Beautiful and entertaining as always and that keeps us wanting more.
