    I’m a young teenager but I’m also a businesswoman. Who knows, I may run a con when I get older, seems worth it to make everyone happy and come out of their shell.

      @@screaminberries9046 honestly you can start small club events, such as start a small gathering event at a library and grow from there. Even though your young, clubs are like small businesses. It takes a lot to keep them going and keep it interesting every week or month. So in order to get your entrepreneural expertise very young is to start with what you have going for you right now.
      Like fundraising helps your financial skills. YOU have to figure out what that will go to, where it will go that is important to you ☺

    This is a broad question but what would be the budget range for a con?great and informative video

      It would be hard to say and depends on so many different factors. Small hotels cons cost a few thousand, Large cons at convention centers can cost hundreds of thousands. It depends on the number and calibur of guests, the location and so much more.

    I’m 17 right now, if I wanted to start a convention, do I have to be older? Also I have a great idea for one and I don’t know who I would be able to give the idea to, which goes along with my question.

      I would say you would likely have to be 18 for signing legal contracts. If you want to propose your con idea, I would suggest contacting current con organizers.

    How much is event insurance and who do you go through?

    • @FandomSpotlite
      @FandomSpotlite  5 років тому

      Depends on a number of factors. The venue, projected attendance, etc. Google event insurance and talk to an agent.
