Something that I feel doesn't get properly addressed in articles and videos about "how to do more with your money" and "how to stop living paycheck-to-paycheck" is that a great many Americans, in particular Millennials and those in Gen Z who've already entered the workforce, don't earn enough money to *feed themselves* consistently. The average college degree comes with almost forty thousand dollars of debt and no promise of a decent-paying job. They aren't taking long unpaid vacations, they're begging their manager to schedule them more hours of work so they can afford their rent. They aren't splurging on $500 shoes, they're agonizing over making $5 of food last until their next paycheck. Can someone really be expected to open a savings account when they regularly need to decide between paying their phone bill or their water bill because they don't have enough money to do both? When they don't turn their heater on in sub-zero temperatures because their electricity bill is already too high? When they share a run-down one-bedroom apartment with three other people because none of them can afford it individually and can only barely afford it together?

Currency is a frequency. We can attract it and use it to effectively communicate. But we need to be careful while doing so. It is very easy to screw the communication part up. Wishing you all positive and blessed vibes!☺✌
Her heart's in the right place but she skipped the most important first step: Budget out what you're spending and what your making on the monthly, and see what steps you need to take to make sure if you're in the black. If you're living in a situation that isn't sustainable, then knuckle down and do some research to find out where you can cut costs and live cheaper. Judging by some of the other comments I've read, that might mean taking drastic steps like moving to a more affordable area or completely switching up job industries. For instance in my current situation I'm on a work holiday visa, hopping between hostels in a completely different country because it's cheaper than the state I'm from.
This doesn’t take into account how disproportionate paid wages are in relation to cost of living. I feel like these approaches and philosophies she shared only apply to 10% of Americans.
Shawn Wolfenbarker It can’t buy it buys a lot of things that contribute to happiness...like security. And even if it doesn’t buy happiness, the lack of money is a huge stressor on individuals and relationships.
@@mschrisfrank2420 Security and safty is an illusion . True you can buy things that help your life but all in all money isnt needed AT ALL. You only think it is because most people have been dupped by the system into believing they need flashy things . You dont have to like my opinion . I am who I am your approval isnt needed.
FYI, u can buy happiness with money. You can build school for children, you can provide education in poverty, you buy a forest and save it, you can fund an org that fights global warming. These all takes money.
When you're poor, having shelter and food for your family is great happiness. There is a positive correlation between happiness and money until about 100k (plus or minus depending on location and other economic factors). After basic needs and security, money can't buy happiness.
I know this comment is from a year ago and I definitely feel the same; but also i'm realising this belief is one of the reasons I subconsciously repel money from me. if i think money is evil then of course my patterns of behaviour will push it away from me. but there are so many good things we can do with that money. it's hard to change our lives let alone the world if we don't have access go money resources... and the people who are genuinely evil (most governments and corporate bosses) have no such repulsion...
@@baileyburns6226 I would like to point out for accuracy's sake that Sanders' tax plan lowers or maintains current tax rates on the lower, middle, *and* upper classes. It only raises taxes on corporations and the ultra rich, who have largely managed to avoid paying any significant taxes in the last several decades. Will he be able to follow through with it if elected? I don't know. Campaign promises don't have the best record at being kept.

Create a vision board...for things that require money energy...I love! Thank you...
"your goals need to align with your behaviors" seems like it was said backwards and should be "your behaviors need to align to your goals"
The first is a very funny statement to daydream about.
I think it goes both ways.
@@mschrisfrank2420 why both? Because your heart in the right place?)
Your behaviour creates a SYSTEM which enables you to achieve your intended results (GOALS). #AtomicHabits..
I have made a decision that I want a good relationship with money.

How to improve your relationship, with money:
Buy your partner lots of nice things
This is excellent advice.
Self-Esteem - Behavior - Goals

#6 Make more money!
Not exactly. You make more money and spend more money and so on. Them you end making 6 digits but living paycheck to paycheck.
@@alecoloxa I agree with her. Make more money!)
Thanks buzfeed.
Weird title... I thought this was about giving my partner 10 bucks so she would clean the kitchen or something.
Lol
That’s where a comma would have come in 🤷🏼♀️

Isn't money the root of all evil? That doesn't sound like one I want to "improve" with.
