Amazing!
💚 I think we may have been on the cruise right after you on the Diamond Princess. We chose it after already having a trip to Tokyo to go to Disneyland booked. It was meant to be as the days lined up really nice with the rest of the trip we already had planned. We just had to change the return flight by a couple days to accommodate the cruise. We absolutely loved the diamond! We ate at Sterling Steakhouse and it was having a trial as a Brazilian Steakhouse. The staff were all from Brazil, and took great pride in giving us a great experience with a flavor of their homeland. From special cocktails to several side dishes that were from their homeland.
I hope that other Princess cruises follow suit as it was quite the experience.

Heading to Japan to cruise on the Diamond Princess Oct. 14-23, 2023, for my 70th bday! We have been to Japan before but want to see more cities. Cruising is the best way to do that. I am so excited! Thanks for all the tips!

Thank you for this informative video! We are going on Oct 31st and are looking forward to the Japanese flair on the Diamond Princess. I bought through Costco Travel, and bought the airfare through Princess EZair. Excellent airfare and the main flights are on Singapore Airlines!! I bought the port-to-airport transfer thru Costco Travel for $69 per person. This is well worth it.

That’s a great question. I recommend waiting until you get to the airport to book it. We had no trouble finding it and we’ve done it twice now. I hope you have an amazing trip.

Everywhere we went, we received nothing but highest professional services and products quality.
We rather pay the high price tags for everything for their mannerisms than to get it from country who worked for tips!
My husband and I argued all the times how he wanted to tip, even when we received the crappiest services, so he would save face! 😡

I'm embarrassed but will ask anyway. The worst part of vacationing is feeling insecure. I would love to mimic how you purchased tickets for the limo in addition to booking the same hotel. Can you share the details on how you did that? Our family want to visit Japan for a 19 day Princess cruise on July 1, 2024. We are excited but nervous because this will be our first time in Japan and our first long long long cruise at 19 days. We know it's typhoon season too.
I’m so excited to hear that you have have booked diamond Princess for this summer. You’re going to have the time of your life. We booked the Hyatt Regency Yokohama directly and you can do the same thing by visiting their website. I suggest booking early because the price is fluctuate quite a bit. It’s a wonderful hotel and you can just take a taxi to the cruise port the next morning. I suggest waiting until you get to the airport to purchase the airport limousine buses. Just follow the signs to Keiku bus and they speak English at the airport- you just simply tell them what address and region you are going to and they will help you to get the correct bus!! hnd-bus.com/

I would actually suggest getting cash not at the airport but at a 7 -11.
Tipping is not offensive 😂 People don't expect it but if you really want to show gratitude, put money in a little envelope and give it to a service provider. Handing bear cash is rude but tipping itself is NOT offensive❤
Thanks for your insight! We tried several times on our first Japanese cruise, and learned the hard way that it is NOT customary and considered offensive. In fact, the staff at the terminal directly told us not to tip the porters. Most cruisers don't travel with clean bills and the appropriate type of envelope that may be accepted, so we advise to follow the cultural norm in this case.
You are wrong , in Japan tip is not acceptable and sometimes treat as insult , but a smile and say thanks is much more appropriate .

Actually, the Japanese vowels are more like Hawaiian vowels. The vowel sounds are short. Elongating the vowel sound sometimes changes the meaning of the word.
