    That belt looked really well to have five years of usage Steve. I just changed by drive belt for the blades on my riding mower about two weeks ago. Your didn't look too bad of a job to change whereas I've got to pull the entire deck out :) Now you're good for five more years :)))

    • @SteveRobReviews
      @SteveRobReviews  7 років тому

      I was surprised how good it lasted too. A lot easier the next time. Cheers

    Bruce Pender Lift hahaha. Steve's small engine repair. Good job. I myself am not a fan of self propel stuff but now that I am not as young as I used to be they are becoming more attractive. That wear spot may be just stuff flying around in there too.

    • @SteveRobReviews
      @SteveRobReviews  7 років тому

      Well I only like the rear drive mowers as going up hills it works compared to front drive wont. Everybody likes the Bruce pender Lift. LOL

  • @IntradeMotors
    @IntradeMotors 7 років тому +1

    The wear mark will be from belt slack , a pull belt with no idler will wip on the slack side if it gets to worn next would be it jumping off a pulley but you replaced it before it done that.

    • @SteveRobReviews
      @SteveRobReviews  7 років тому

      This design seems to work and all the grass I cut it's a great idea.

    Great vid Brother.
    So now ya gotta stop at the curb a few times for some of those sidewalk stories and resurrect a few. Show a pull cord repair. In this vid Steve's gonna repair a mower he picked up and after he repairs it, he's gonna give it away. Only thing ya gotta come ta Canada ta get it.

    Bruce Pender lift? WTH? LOL You need to take a riding mower up their! Do you sharpen your blades? I do with my hand grinder in a vice. TIP, if you spray PAM cooking spray under their on the deck before you mow you can just wash off the clippings easy. They can't stick. Just came to me sorry I had to say it. Looks like a belt keeper spring. You drained all the gas and fuel out of it? It takes both? LMAO.... I just love these small type videos. They are really helpful to most folks. Talk dirty Steve! LOL

      Jim when I seen Bruce with his I just had to go to Princess Auto and get one. It's a terrific help with small engine repair and I weld on it as well to get in the right position. It also matches the height of my pickup to unload and load heavy items.
