i still refuse to believe that the generation 5 pokémon video games came out last decade. it’s so crazy how time flew by so fast. i remember being 7 years old playing pokémon white and now i’m 18 years old. i really wish that we can get time back😔

Y'all are lucky, I never played this game in my childhood days 😭. I always loved gen 5, I still to this day don't get why some people hated on it. All I can do for now is appreciate all of gens music thanks to youtube, but I never got a chance to play any of the games except x and moon. If only I had a 3ds back then...but yes! Time did fly by so fast I can't wait for my chance to play it.

2012 for pokemon black 2 was my first game
Ruby and Sapphire were my first Pokemon games, and yet somehow this song is still nostalgic. It just has that kind of feel to it

This song is everything, it is sad, it gives nostalgia, it gives everything to feel happy even if it sounds sad , but it sounds weird like if someone was looking at you. Idk why, but this is my favourite pokemon's soundtrack.

It’s so odd to hear this song in the future compared to 9 years ago. I played this game with my cousins, and I enjoyed sending them messages in the bubble thing, and battling them and now that I’m older, I wish I could go back to them days. This song (and Jubilife City theme and Eterna Forest theme from Platinum, and Cerulean City theme in SoulSilver) in particular make me feel those memories again for some reason

Yesterday i booted up my pokemon black file and guess what? 7 year old me left me with a living shiny dex inside dragonspire tower. This song right as i booted it up.. so effing nostalgic.
Not super into pokémon, only reslly ed finished fire red, played some of the others but my god I love black and white. So good I love everything about them. The moving sprite animations just have a certain charm to them and feel like they have passion put into them, the soundtrack is so god tier, just everything man. I remember going to a midnight launch with my big bro for this game way back, how I miss those times. Booting up the game for the first time and being so excited to play it, probably the only pokémon game besides firered that I've beat all the way through. I miss being a kid so much lmao
One of the most mystical pieces of music that ever came from Pokemon, the sense of mystery it brings really makes it feel like an RPG

I always used to go to the giant chasm to hear this music, and I still do. Definitely one of my favorite gen 5 overworld themes.
Damn, I remember playing this game like it was just yesterday. Doesn't feel like 11 years have gone by. The Dragonspiral Tower theme is so mysterious, haunting, soothing, and unhinged all at the same time.

I still say there’s no f-ing way this was an accident. There’s two separate melody lines (starting at 0:17 and 0:29) which *both* borrow from Chrono Trigger.
Once might have been unintentional, and purely coincidence (though all the same, I’d expect at least someone on the sound team would’ve caught it).
…But *twice?* Twice *in a row??* No. Just no way.
It well and truly probably wasn't a coincidence. Pokémon, historically, is known for borrowing classical compositions and paying homage to its contemporaries in its music.
This music always made me feel like there were more things to discover but I couldn't never figure them out
This song. This song alone can give me all the nostalgia from when I first played Black and White. Pokemon was completely foreign to me at the time other than ads, the cards, and the anime. I've made so many fond memories with Gen 5, and I don't think I'd have it any other way. They were the first in a lot of ways for me. First game I chose a starter in, first mainline game I played and owned, first game I found a shiny in. I've even tried nuzlocking it a few times to try and make it the first game I've had a successful nuzlocke in, but no dice as of right now.
Great song. If Gen 5 remakes come out, I readily await the remix they throw at us for this song.

I literally heard an almost identical song to this one in my dreams and I had never listened to this track, However I had heard Secret of the Forest before but for some reason the song in my dreams sounded almost like this one. What a mysterious song this is.

@@fabiocetrulo4462 I have actually played them and I've noticed the similarity with the light world dungeons but to think that my brain would shift the composition of the song to sound almost exactly like Dragonspire's tower is unbelieavable to me.

I don't know what happened man I forgot everything about this game. I loved it. Or I imagine I did. It was my first pokemon game, one of my first games ever (sheltered kid lol) but I can't remember the plot or ANY of the music :( I'm sure I jammed to this song as a kid but I don't remember it at all. well it sounds nice hearing it now.

i was 18 when black and white came out and my friends and siblings didn’t play pokemon anymore. i didn’t have as nice of a time as lots of kids did as it being their first game obviously but this song and the giant chasm area is my favorite part of the game. i thought it was so cool how you can catch wild metagross, one of my all time favorites. and reaching the little pond to access kyurem from the snow was really neat, along with its lacunosa town lore.

Man I remember being in my room on the floor playing this game while my brother next to me was playing black ops 2. This song really reminds me of those times after school. Man... I really miss it honestly.
Also if they straight up copy and pasted this game to the switch with nothing new I'd still buy full price. It's really just that good. BDSP on the switch really didn't hurt probably because I never liked gen 4 in the first place
This track is so peaceful, yet Ironic when you think about the first area it appears in, but I see what they did with it. Giving the spirits something peaceful.

I don't know why but Giant Chasm kinda gave me the creeps. All the Pokémon there also seemed odd and kinda out of place. But I liked the feeling it generated in me kinda like I had stumbled into a place I shouldn't have.
Looking at other comments I am glad I never played those games. That way I enjoy this calm beautiful song as the "Celestial Tower" music, not some remix from other games. Suits the atmosphere for the place being the resting place for deceased Pokemon.

You definitely should play them. Imo they're the best games of the franchise (personal opinion), there are cool characters, the story is amazing ecc..

This has got to be my all time favorite song in pokemon black and white. It's really soothing.
This theme is very reminiscent of Chrono Trigger. More specifically Memories of Green and Secret of the Forest.
