I'm so disappointed that Relic Castle was downgraded in BW2. - I just visited this place in a game. It seemed like an abandoned temple, or a castle, buried under the sand. Its halls and floor were full of it, too. The music was telling me a history, that the place was once very important. It was easy to get lost in its numerous rooms. But once I managed to find my way to the deepest part of the building, my reward was waiting for me there. A six-winged fire creature, capable of unleashing tremendous power, which I had to fight in order to convince it to join my adventure. - That sounds sick. I've come to believe that Relic Castle was where the Ultimate Weapon hit. It was once a prosperous city of ancient Unova, and if Unova and Kalos were at war, it makes sense for AZ to point the Ultimate Weapon at his enemy's capital. Maybe Unova was the Carthage to Kalos's Rome, and the weapon was what turned the region into a sandy, salty desert.
Decided to battle Cynthia with the game muted and listening to this on the background, now mind you that I battled her in gen 4, and battling her in gen 5 with the music hit HARD (Try it), felt like years since I've seen her yet only took me less than a week to finish BW after stark mountain in Platinum. This OST will forever be the best in it's franchise and now I know how gen 5 was truly an amazing game.
Can we just PLEASE have a remake of Gen 5? It's been so long overdue, but I guess many will resist to that. *cough* Diamond and Pearl remakes *cough*.
