"One unbreakable codex against the coming powercreep, one last blade forged in defiance of meta, let them be my legacy to the 5th edition I conquered, and my final gift to the psychic phase I failed."
This is great! Can't say enough how much I appreciate this. So many other tutorials use like 8+ colors and being new to the hobby, I don't have a huge paint selection yet.
I just got my first 500 point GK army and I used your tutorial on painting them and I’ve gotten so many compliments on them. Thankyou for creating such quality and helpful videos, you’ve helped me take my first big step into the hobby!
Thanks a lot for the help. Showed it to my little nephews and they are trying to redo the whole thing. Helps me a lot to connect them even more to the hobby. Best wishes from Germany.
I tried a few different techniques for force weapons but just wasn't happy with them. I turned to this method and just love how much they stand out. Thank you for a nice easy to follow guide!
Amazing tutorial as always! Using your "How to Paint a Grey Knight " for my army, would be curious how you do the more in depth technique for the blades, a video on that would be awesome. As always: For the Emperor!
Thanks for this. Iam new to the hobby and some of the more advanced techniques are simply too, well advanced. Will try this one of the next days, looks doable.
Always up for power weapon videos, still trying to get my technique down for it, tried a few, will give this a shot as well. If you end up doing a more detailed tutorial I'd enjoy it. Thanks for the time!
If you feel like doing a video the upgraded technique would be rad. I love the ones that do a few hot points using full on white and detail a little ball of paint on the edge then a scrape line in from it. Right on the sweet spot of the blade where I’d get the most abuse/use.
Love the videos, I just bought my first 40k set (Grey knights strike squad) probably should have gone with the terminators pack. This will help me a lot when it comes to the painting part!
why am I watching this I don’t even own and grey knights or these paints. “I use bottle caps” HOLY HECK YOU BLOODY GENIUS (Edit: i now own grey knights)
I do kinda the same but try to make it easier without mixing colors, so start with temple guard blue and use guilliman blue for the "blending", then grey seer for those nice edges, ez! edit: and I just realised guilliman blue is RIP...
I don´t even own a single model of 40K, but i absofrakkinglutely love the GK. How can you not love the Emperor´s finest, the demon slaying badasses, the murder machines of the Imperium of Man? However, one thing i never understood is why are the force weapons of the GK never painted white. I´ve seen a fair share of ilustrations and they are almost always white and they look amazing. Maybe there is a technical (painting) reason for that, since they are almost always blue and sometimes purple(ish). Anywho, stellar job for such a quick and easy painting.
Pretty sure I've tried the more in depth force sword technique you use or atleast something very similar to it by the looks of it, I got through like 3 swords before having to take a break lmao.

Came to watch this again as I'm painting some more force sword.
Miss you channel, man. Hope you're doing well!
Thank you for this, all the tutorials I find on YT for force weapons to be daunting, this was both approachable and effective.

Hey, that's awesome to hear!

I'd love to see how you do your more "complicated" power swords.
Very nice basic technique!
Loving these simple techniques, it is really hard to find these! Thank you for making one!
Always up for power weapon videos, still trying to get my technique down for it, tried a few, will give this a shot as well. If you end up doing a more detailed tutorial I'd enjoy it. Thanks for the time!
Thanks for watching!
I def wanna see the more in depth force swords, they look sick!

Hey man! Really appreciate the video, I will use it on my black templars!

Thanks for the video. Already using the technique lol.
Edit: I'd like to see your advance technique also!

IT IS HEAR I can repaint more of my models yay
Great video. Subscribed.
Looks great! Fantastic stuff.
Seems like an excellent way to start. But I also wouldn't mind the "advanced" version.
Coming soon!
Me with 70 base coat only power swords, thanks dude

That's a good question! I bet someone could make some killer glowing white blades. For me, the blue is just the classic look.

Yeah, it's tricky trying to get that faded look.
🐵🗡️
Lol if you are both a drunk and poor...basically most 40k players with full armies
