Very bizarre that a movie about how great the US Constitution is has Ben Franklin as the Founding Fathers connection, considering that BF was a very old man and not at all involved when it was written

It is! He’s on another Chapo episode where they go over Dinesh D’ouchebag’s “Hillary’s America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party” and he also appeared on one of the Season 2 bonus episodes of Blowback going over B-movies about Cuba.
I just looked into that Madison Rising band, holy fuck. I really hope they're doing a long con or some leftist performance art to see how hilariously "patriotic" they can be before even the conservative right wing nutsacks say, "okay, this is getting a bit over the top." They make Kid Rock look like Rage Against the Machine
During Occupy DC, there was a protest (or something) on Capitol Hill, specifically the lawn. Madison Rising showed up and played an acoustic set off to the side. I didn't catch enough of their lyrics to realize that they were so reactionary. I just figured that they were a political band with too many platitudes, but some potential. I wasn't the only one who gave them a good reception. It was a little awkward later, for everyone involved.
Just one year after this was posted, a Texas public school teacher is being disciplined for teaching her students their constitutional rights. This movie seems to be on point in one respect (at least in my experience): No one is more ignorant or less engaged in what is happening in the classroom that the average American dad. Seriously. If you want a portrait of just how little they know about all things kid-related, search for Jimmy Kimmel's "Pop Quiz - Father's Day Edition," a man-on-the-street interview that shows, on video no less, how your average American dad can't name their children's school, their teachers, their grade level or favorite school subject. My favorite part of being on Teacher Twitter is the universal story about how parents will call or email their kids' teachers, bitching and accusing the teacher of withholding classroom materials or not sharing important documents. They don't seem to know that teachers can see how many times parents sign on to their kid's online classroom, if they've opened folders and documents, signed forms electronically and how much time the parent spent in each file or folder. This is how the GOP duped gormless white parents into believing their kids were being provided pornography.
Who is that one guy in this? The one with the *insanely* familiar voice? Like... I know that voice, right? (Edit) Oh my God, I got it. It's Tom Servo out of Mystery Science Theatre 3000
