hey Brad, just wanted to take the time from my UA-cam music production tutorial binge to say what a blessing its been to come across your video, be inspired by your enthusiasm for this craft & find an organized template to start & hopefully escape my 4 bar endless loop & finish lol. i just made the switch from ableton cuz i honestly was not moving forward with my songs there no matter how much i learned there. flstudio & community here just has a vibe that just pushes me to work & hopefully finish. truly any one who wants to make music can & doesnt have an excuse to begin cuz honesty when i look back, the process of making the song, at least for me, has been a gift not necessarily uploading it to be master or streamed. stick to it even just to sketch something out. yahll got this. and what better way to start with this template along with vsts available for all. super stoged to apply some of my old loops. i will definitely return back here if i get lost in the mix lol. much love & blessings on your musical journeys folks =)

Every single thing you’ve implemented I end up doing 80% of the time but never took the time to turn it into a template or knew how to do so on FL - thanks a million! Question, when mixing in another daw or sending the song out to get mixed what is the fastest and most efficient way to track out everything separately ? Looking forward to your response 🙏🏾
Wow, thanks! glad it is helpful. This is something I'm not totally sure of. it really depends on how complex you want your stems to be. As you can see in the template I have the groups/bus channels, often you could just export them as stems if you have the balance of each group correct and then mix them like that. Or you would need to export all of the stems at once and remove the groups/ bus stems so you have only the individual sounds. I havent found a simple way to do it besides exporting groups or exporting all the stems and only keeping the ones that are needed. I hope that helps :)

when i drag my recording onto the lead vocal channel its super quiet even if i go turn the clip gain all the way up why is that? also i see you have the vocals going into the effects but why are the send levels at zero?
I'm sorry to ask here but this has been driving me crazy. I want to move a track on the playlist up one position and I know there's a keyboard shortcut to lock sideways movement. I saw on a video once. Can anyone tell me which keys to press ?

Hi Kobi! Your video was really helpful :) I was wondering tho, if you use effects on your production setup, isnt that counterproductive when youre mixing for real? I got told once that effects are better used on the mixing process. Im kinda confused now, what are your thoughts?
How channel 50 is send to reverb and delays without knobs turned right (green colour) and still we can see that channels 52, 53, 54 are playing the sound.
Question - so would this concept not work for third party plugins that don’t have a “dry” knob (to turn all the way down)? For instance Valhalla Vintage/Room only have a mix knob. Unless you had the mix at 100%, there will be some percentage of the dry signal flowing through and crashing with your bus. Or am I missing something?

This project keeps on warning about your fl template is a different version to my fl 20.7 and that it may cause my project to crask. It keeps on crashing and wont open. What can i do? I am so close to openning it?

How do you view your effects in your mixer like that ?
there is a setting in the mixer settings that allows you to change the view and I set it to large I think

For me I use the template to get a rough mix whilst I'm creating and then I finalise the mix later on in a dedicated mixing and mastering session!

i use the fruity send plugins to send the information
