  • Installing Rough Country's E-Board Power Running Boards on your 2024 Toyota Tacoma is a breeze. Watch! Get yours: www.roughcount...
Sidesteps have come a long way, and now we've taken them to the next level with Rough Country's E-Board Electric Step. These steps feature dual-motor technology that stands up even under extreme climate conditions. In addition, our steps come with LED lights to provide illumination when deployed, making them easier to see and use in low-light conditions. When the steps are hidden, the LEDs shut off for a sleek look. Finally, with an anti-slip surface that provides a secure stepping area, getting in and out of your ride has never been easier!
6” all-season, lightweight, durable aluminum running board.
Dual-motor technology delivers maximum power when deploying or retracting.
Anti-slip surface provides a secure stepping area. (textured coating)
Integrated LED lights illuminate the board when deployed.
Automatic ‘SAFE-STOP’ engages if blockage is detected.
Interior bypass switch for manual override.
The retracted running board protects the rocker panel.
660 lb. weight capacity per side.
    Easy, no-drill installation.

I wish you would get rid of the magnets and use OBD2 port.

I bought my 2024 Tacoma (Black Pearl) back in March..
And I can't stop watching video! I imagine I'll keep watching it, until I have a set on my truck

For the 24 4Runner the wiring is opposite, module and battery on the driver's side. Yet, the wiring harness is still labeled for the Tacoma.

There is no way the control module fits where he is installing it. The module is too long and doesn’t fit between the frame

Correct. I just installed a set on my '24 Taco. I had to bend the bracket down to make it fit.

I had the same problem where the module doesn't fit. I removed the module from its bracket then re-attached it onto the other side (module is now facing the ground). I also needed to slightly bend the bracket too.
