One of my favorite parts about F Zero GX is how the icon in the corner shakes when you go faster.

You do know that there is an option in the UA-cam video settings that lets you adjust video speed from X0.25 speed to X2 speed? And yeah, I know what you mean. It's normal speed is more than satisfactory, but an increased game speed mode (regardless of whether it's actually playable) would be pretty interesting.

i just noticed your vehicle driving at 3000km/h through a tight loop and came to the conclusion that either the game is updating physics much faster than 60hz or internally sticks your car to a 2d plane that converts to the curved 3d track.
i'd say the second solution is more likely due to it being cheaper to compute
