Assuming That playing homeworld one will make us understand what going on... what a grand and intoxicating innocence.
Well, even if we don't understand, at least we'll get to (re)play the scenes with Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings. Not sure how hard that'll hit for new modern players, but it still sticks with me after 25 years as one of the most moving scenes I've suffered in a game. I credit/blame Barber's music for at least 90% of that. :D
Hw3's story was banal to the nth degree.
We went from Crusade for Home/Fight the Beast/Fight Makaan in a race for the right to shape the future of a galaxy to "Space baby needs cuddle". Worst thing: she killed billions and got what she wanted. She won. What a fckn joke.

Did not expect to see a Berserk shout-out in Homeworld, of all games. The Berserker symbol looks like the Brand of Sacrifice. It also kinda looks like the Miracle symbol from Blasphemous.

Dammit, I've played the HW series since HW 1 just after college. The series consistently evokes a sense of awe with its sound design, soundtrack (though still kind of on the fence after 25 years about the choice to go with Yes for the credits -- I love Yes, and thematically it fit. Just not sure about the sound style), voice acting, and art style.
...And in 15 minutes you've repeatedly skewered and roasted so many of my HW sacred cows, starting with Space Karan. XD

Man, I loved the original Homeworld. I still listen to that acapella version of Adagio for Strings sometimes.
This is almost exactly what ive been looking for. Dreadnaught (Think it's called capital command now?) looked promising although the devs are quiet, but this. This does make me smile.
The world of warships clone or is there another dreathnought game around?

I live min maxing in War Games, during the beta I kept getting upgrades to my torpedo frigates so I basically ended up melting the Battle Cruiser from the next sector over. (Range and range)
