- This video will show you how I was able to convert the manual side mirrors to an auto fold motorized side mirrors in my facelifted Toyota Vios 3.5. The video is divided into two parts: (1) part 1 is the installation of the side mirror motor/actuator, (2) wiring of control switch and interfacing with door actuators for remote control.

may 2 questions ako:
1. while engine ON, nakaswitch ON side mirror button, automatic na magffold mirror kpag nilock sa remote?
2. while engine ON, nakaswitch ON side mirror button at pinush door lock button sa loob hindi ba magffold yung mirror?

Hi Engr this is great information for DYI. I do own a toyota rav4 2012 which already comes with door auto lock . I wonder how the set can be connected to the existing OEM installation of my car? Thanks again.
Does the vehicle need to be in park for this to work? Or could I close the mirrors at any time? My dilema is that my truck just barely fits into my garage, but if I fold the mirrors in, it's perfect! I normally have to roll the windows down, pull in the mirrors manually and then finish parking, which is especially annoying when it's just me having to fold in both mirrors and when its cold outside. In the research I've done in looking for automatic folding mirrors, most of the time the vehicle has to be in Park to work...
Hi regarding vdc at acc power can i use engine fuse box instead slicing some wire?
Yo RJ pare. Sobrang laking tulong nito. Bro pasensya na baka may guide ka ng how to install courtesy door sa Altis. Yung 2012 kasi inalis nila yung feature sa 1.6G pero sa 2.0V meron. walang wire naka abang eh, marami sa shopee nung ilaw pero walang wiring guide.
Merong mga courtesy lights sa shopee sir na no need wiring. Hanapin mo lng ung infrared sensor na xa.
Im just wondering, what if im driving down the road, and my doors are unlocked. If i hit the lock button to lock my doors or if my doors lock automatically after reaching certain speed will that also fold my side mirrors shut?

Sir, ano po part number ng side mirror motor, sa link mo under description, sa mga photos is showing JCFES-22029, however, isang part lang sya, not sure how to order both Left & Right motor as the link provided doesnt have option to choose either L&R. Sa ibang seller meron naman pair na pero iba yung part number (JCFES-22015 & JCES-22016). Just to be sure kung ano po yung tama, please pa-advise and pa-guide which is the correct part. Hi Sir, please check description again, already updated links for the motors on left and right side. Those were the items I have purchased in Lazada, but please take note sir that the right side that I purchased didn't have a wire and connector included, what I did was to solder wires. You may search other items sir but please make sure that it is specified as right side. The left side is a complete package.

Awesome sir. Big thanks. Yes, actually same dilemma because some SKU's or motor comes in pair but doesn't have connectors together with the order. Doing separate orders is completely fine with me as long as I get the correct part number because I've read other people who purchased from Lazada complained that the swing angle (motor of the side mirror) is not the same (or minsan kulang, minsan sobra), that's why I wanted to confirm the part # or SKU number, just to be sure. Anyway, great job and work sa video mo, very detailed and okey ang mga pacing, at may auto-narrator character pa. Solid! If I may suggest sir, CRUISE CONTROLLER sa Toyota Vios (both auto and manual tranny), Thanks and more power, I appreciate din yung mabilis na response. Isa lang alamat lodi.
@@EyeAlone777 actually ung left side sir ung perfect ang timing, sa right side ung mejo sobra pero not bad nmn, konti lng mxdo ang sinobra. Most sa ng inquire saken sir same models lng ang kinuha para cgurado tas nka install na dn sila.

Dati saken sir, manual lng dn, as is mo lng po ung prang cables nya. Pero ngayon pinalitan q na ng may motor pra ma automatic adjust na dn pati ung salamin

I have a Renault Laguna that close automaticaly the doors when start moving, with this system the mirrors will close automaticaly or still open?
as long as the ignition is on or in accessory, the mirrors will not fold sir.
It should be interlocked with the accessories sir, because if not, it will fold if you close the door.

Sir poydi ba pagsamahin ang sentral lock mudule na wire ng side merror folding at post start mudule para isa lang ang remote.thnx po sa share na video.
Yes mam, actually common sila ng trigger input na Galing sa bagong remote. Pra sabay ang side mirror fold/unfold sa door close/open.

Im not sure sir, but you can check po by opening the side mirror holding stem, and compare the motor/actuator holder

@@EngrDeeIWye I just to confirm that the actuator doesn't involve how I want the glasses to turn but the 2 electric folding motors? and If I don't have the folding button on the switch, can I still make the mirrors turn when I lock/unlock the car? I'm using 2 foldable mirrors from 7th gen Corolla to 8th gen Corolla, only have 2 cables from each mirror
@@yaochihli2263 the actuator for folding is different from the actuator of the mirror adjustment sir. The switch is actually for manual operation, if you don't have one, you can add a separate switch.

Hi sir, try mo po i open ung side mirror, tas check ung housing ng motor if pareho.
You need to switch manually before you use the remote.
You can control it either way.
Sir yung pulang wire galing po sa battery? Tapos po yung black sa body ground and yung white po sa accesories po sa ignition? Color white din po ang kakabitan ko dun sa ignition sir? Thanks
Hi sir, yes po nglatag aq ng new wires from battery sir kc mrmi aqng additional accessories. Black is body ground, tas ung white po is acc. Pwd kay kumuha sa head unit, pwd dn nmn po sa ignition, bsta meron lng dpt xng 12vdc pg nka acc ang susi

Qng sa ignition ka sir, heto ang color code sa ignition. Sa gen 3 q to na color code sir ha.
Blue - 12vdc constant
Light green - starter
Green - acc
Violet - ignition 1
Red - ignition 2
Another green - constant 12vdc
Compare mo lng sau sir. Gamit ka tester or test light po
Sa head unit nmn saken is color red. Pero iba2 ata ang color code sa head unit.
Boss pwd ba yan sa power side mirror or need mo pa magpalit ng autofold na side mirror?
Qng meron ng actuator ung side mirror mo sir, better, controller nlng ang bilhin.

Not all cguro sir, pero based sa description ng motor, mejo generic xa, hnd dn xa nka specify for vios pero fit xa

Magrurun pa ba ng panibagong wire papunta dun sa switch??
I parallel mo lng po dun sa kabilang motor at switch sir. Dun kna mag connect sa output ng module pra mas malapit po. Sabay yan sila mg coclose/open po.
No need na po connection sa kabilanh door actuator.
What about to connect a toyota corolla 2007 like that?
I think it's almost the same sir, as long as you already have the side mirror motor and the centralized door actuators, you can integrate them both.
