I will never understand how Adam's game was supposed to play out. He had no way to kill Gordon, and his key was lost to him immediately through no fault of his own.
His goal was to stay alive. It was also the first one where stuff was less played out. I think it was that he acted too rashly in other ways people’s affairs over his own life. He didn’t do what Gordon or Eric did either
Amanda was the one who set the key up purposely so that it would go down the drain when he woke up... She later returns to the bathroom to finish adam off and suffocate him to death and mercy kill him instead of let him starve 2 death.... This is why John tests her multiple times after her first test... because john found out she was making her games unfair and rigging them so the traps would be unwinnable.... Even Hoffman knew that she was with Cecil the night Jill had her miscarriage and John never knew but he always had a feeling should would fail him due to her rage
@MatteocciThaDon to that point, Amanda could've done more than put the key purposefully in the drain she could've rigged things for both Adam and Gordon we can't really know for now
There are some decent ones generally from non english speaking countrys. High tension and martyrs from france for example, asia also does a pretty decent job aswell from what i remember grotesque is a personal favourite of mine because decent gore but the ending is so unrealistically funny its just brilliant.
I SEEN SAW X TODAY.....EHH IT WAS OK. IT WAS NICE SEEING BELL AGAIN BUT THE ENDING WAS PREDICITABLE, THE GORE WAS FINE THE BLOOD WATERBOARDING SCENE LOOKED LIKE MOTOR OIL FOR SOME STRANGE REASON WHICH MADE IT FUNNY AS HELL, ALSO LIKE I KNEW THEY DIDNT HAVE THE BALLS TO KILL A KID. THE TWIST WAS PREDICTABLE. MOVIES LIKE THIS DOES HAVE ITS AUDIENCES BUT IMO MOVIES LIKE THIS SHOULD HAVE STAYED IN THE EARLY 2000S WITH HOSTEL TEXAS CHAINSAW REMAKE ETC. I GIVE IT A 5 OUT OF 10 ITS CLOSER TO A 4 THAN A 6.
@@chrisg5853 They're in a weird limbo really. The first game had a big input in the writing from Leigh Whanell himself. And during the production of both games the developers made sure they didnt screw with the timeline. They are canon and they are not canon. They were considered canon during the writing process but wether you ignore them or consider them it doesnt really have an effect in the movies.

As bad as the later movies are, I still love them. The whole franchise is a lot of fun and I wish there were more splatter films
