There was evil editing for some girls and especially Fu Yaning she attended a Chinese survival and all the trainees said that she has a really good personality. The things she said in the first episode were slightly evil editing just to cause drama so
I think it's scripted, even the songs they performed are chosen by mnet (Liang Qiao said it in her live). People are confused why a lot of trainees chose a song that doesn't suit their vocals. Mnet probably asked Yaning to say it as they also gave her group helicopter because of Yujin.

She is more of a girl-next-door person, based from her IG account. She seems sentimental and nice according to C-Trainees. She is also very talented too, she can dance, sing, and rap.
well i think the show it's totally scripted at this point and the yaning-yujin situation was only to create the villain and hero narrative for this show. And in the recent episodes yaning was a very kind with the other contestants

Im chinese and I can tell you that what fu yaning said was probably staged for drama in the show, but she actually said " we can do really well, and maybe even surpass the original. She didnt say she was better. Also she said it to help her teammates gain confidence. And also her expressions were because she didnt know what the mentor was saying as the c and j group trainees didnt get translators

I would say Fu yaning is an S in talent. She can sing, dance and rap. And I really think Mnet was going too far. Like why did they really zoom in to her eyes? Sometimes when I don’t understand a question someone is asking me, I also make a face. I also heard from someone saying Mnet chose the audition songs and what she said during the audition was “mistranslated” (the part when she said “they could do better than the original. I think the translation was “I think we can show another side that only we can do” or smt) And about being the leader thing… I saw a comment saying that it is normal for the older chinese trainees to be the leader because they feel like they have to take care of the others. It reminds me of being a big sister to your siblings. I don’t see any wrongdoing in that. And further on the episodes, especially on the mafia mission, she wanted Mashiro to be the leader because she thought she was a better fit :) And about her saying Shana didn’t look like an all-rounder. I can see why she thought that. Sometimes people assume others abilities by their appearance. I think Shana didn’t give a strong first impression because of her “cute appearance” as Fu Yaning mentioned. Take me as an example. My teachers assumed I was “weak” because of my really small appearance, but once I performed (P.E especially), they suddenly changed their opinion. Not trynna protect Fu yaning or anything, but I see a lot of evil editing.

im so sad that murakami yume was eliminated, she was my ult bias in the show, i just fell in love with her personality when i saw the introduction video, and then when she did pretty u i was just head over toes for her literally. she’s so underrated and so talented, she obviously has much space to grow, but it’s still such a shame she was eliminated in the first round, same with liang qiao, it broke my heart when the twins had to separate 😭 another girls that i thought were really a shame that got eliminated were sunwoo, dayeon, seungeun, gu yizhou and ito miyu😭😭

i should also add in, huang xingqiao had not trained in dancing before this i think! in episode four, yeseo explained that it amazed her how someone who didnt know how to dance much could dance like that, and that’s why she picked xingqiao for her unit in the first place ^^
Huening Bahhiyih is my favorite too, i saw that everyone was hating her and I wondered why so I decided to check her especially since many say she's only popular cuz of her brother but I checked her out and she's so amazing she's talented and has a lot of potential idk why ppl hate her, i think the reason why I love her sm is because she gets a lot of hate which she doesn't deserve and she's actually talented. I hope she debuts
She isn't my favorite but she is nice. Her brother did help her but other trainees also got a lot of popularity from past activities such as yujin being in class and many c- trainees being in other survival shows. Personally, she has a lot of talent but I think she needs more training which isn't bad. I don't think she will make it this survival show but there seems to be a girl version of I land which I think she would be better in. Hope people stop giving her hate she is young and that is very damaging.

This isn't a company evaluation where they only pick the best of the best trainees. Hell, even companies don't pick the best of the best trainees as on Sixteen, Tzuyu won audience pick based on visuals more than her actual skills and Momo was picked by JYP and is still bashed for her singing despite her dancing being top tier (no hate - Twice is one of my ult groups).
momoko was a part of babymetal and she’s the whole reason i tuned in to this show, but she really truly is such a great dancer. seeing her in official recordings and during live performances her presence is really incredible. plus she’s so much fun on sakura gakuin so lol idk i just love her, so sad that she got eliminated so early.

I also read that her putting on this attitude may have to do with the Chinese survival shows she participated in. Apparently in Chinese survival shows contestants who are fierce and cool do better than others. She might have chosen that attitude as her strategy to be popular but it backfired. Anyways now we know that she is very sweet and that all the other girls confirmed that she's super nice.

Thank you 🙏🏼 Honestly I get easily attached to people so now I'm really invested in the show, but if it wasn't for Bahiyyih I wouldn't have watched the episodes past the introduction video (with the girls dressed with white dresses). She's the only participant that caught my eye. Then she was the only one with a personality that felt real, sweet, and interesting. I'm not into false pretends, I need deep stuff to really connect to someone. Since I liked Bahiyyih so much I could continue watching and then learn more about other girls. So Bahiyyih is obviously my #1 pick, because she's the reason I have any interest in that futur girl group. I just wanna stan her and watch her content and see her come up with songs and stuff... She deserve to debut. Even if it's complicated through Planet 999, she'll have my support until the last day.

8:46, No one ever mentions that girls adlibs. The Dolphin demo stage and the Hmph demo stage are the only stages where I go back even though they weren't the best. Ho Sze Ching adlibs are so cute and I really like her voice but she needs more training. I know this is months after Fu Yaning's inncident is cleared up, but I just want to put it out there that IT IS NOT YANING'S FAULT. She has been forced by mnet into saying something mean for the script but, "but you don't" is the least hurtful words that she can say. Mnet ruined her carrer because of this, and I will never forgive them. Fu Yaning is a great person with talents and more. I think it's scripted, even the songs they performed are chosen by mnet (Liang Qiao said it in her live). People are confused why a lot of trainees chose a song that doesn't suit their vocals. Mnet probably asked Yaning to say it as they also gave her group helicopter because of Yujin.

for yaning, there was a lot of evil editing so i believe mnet doesnt want people to vote for her. she didnt say she would do better than the original, she said that they could show a different type of charm (i speak chinese). she also didnt say “we go up but you dont” she said “and we make hella noise for the take off but you dont” which is much less rude though still a bit iffy. however many c group members that have been eliminated have said how she’s a very kind person and has made them feel comfortable. not only that but she has a seemingly good relationship with yujin because they were seen window shopping together. i think the way she’s portrayed in youth with you 2 is her true personality. tbh i dont trust mnet at all in portraying people.

I would say Fu yaning is an S in talent. She can sing, dance and rap.
And I really think Mnet was going too far. Like why did they really zoom in to her eyes? Sometimes when I don’t understand a question someone is asking me, I also make a face.
I also heard from someone saying Mnet chose the audition songs and what she said during the audition was “mistranslated” (the part when she said “they could do better than the original. I think the translation was “I think we can show another side that only we can do” or smt)
And about being the leader thing… I saw a comment saying that it is normal for the older chinese trainees to be the leader because they feel like they have to take care of the others. It reminds me of being a big sister to your siblings. I don’t see any wrongdoing in that.
And further on the episodes, especially on the mafia mission, she wanted Mashiro to be the leader because she thought she was a better fit :)
And about her saying Shana didn’t look like an all-rounder. I can see why she thought that. Sometimes people assume others abilities by their appearance. I think Shana didn’t give a strong first impression because of her “cute appearance” as Fu Yaning mentioned. Take me as an example. My teachers assumed I was “weak” because of my really small appearance, but once I performed (P.E especially), they suddenly changed their opinion.

Huening Bahhiyih is my favorite too, i saw that everyone was hating her and I wondered why so I decided to check her especially since many say she's only popular cuz of her brother but I checked her out and she's so amazing she's talented and has a lot of potential idk why ppl hate her, i think the reason why I love her sm is because she gets a lot of hate which she doesn't deserve and she's actually talented. I hope she debuts
She isn't my favorite but she is nice. Her brother did help her but other trainees also got a lot of popularity from past activities such as yujin being in class and many c- trainees being in other survival shows. Personally, she has a lot of talent but I think she needs more training which isn't bad. I don't think she will make it this survival show but there seems to be a girl version of I land which I think she would be better in. Hope people stop giving her hate she is young and that is very damaging.

Honestly I get easily attached to people so now I'm really invested in the show, but if it wasn't for Bahiyyih I wouldn't have watched the episodes past the introduction video (with the girls dressed with white dresses). She's the only participant that caught my eye. Then she was the only one with a personality that felt real, sweet, and interesting. I'm not into false pretends, I need deep stuff to really connect to someone. Since I liked Bahiyyih so much I could continue watching and then learn more about other girls. So Bahiyyih is obviously my #1 pick, because she's the reason I have any interest in that futur girl group. I just wanna stan her and watch her content and see her come up with songs and stuff... She deserve to debut. Even if it's complicated through Planet 999, she'll have my support until the last day.

Hot take, Mashiro is amazing but I actually preferred Bahiyyih performing those same parts in Fiesta. Bahiyyih has got to be something special to even be comparable to a former JYP trainee, and I am really impressed with her improvement!
