Yeah no turn signals, headlights are on, however the high beams only flash through the switch .. Wish I could post a photo.. ultimately I'm turning my bike into a track bike, it's not 100% OEM your right...

Go with ohlins FGR gas forks! Replace the yellow spring with a grey titanium spring from ohlins. Brembos would be great but it has to have quick release break lines on a bike like that!

Mani, I am so pumped to hear your plans for this build...specifically your comments about the front end/controls/etc...I have been wanting to do the same for my K67 for so long...specifically the throttle, CNC GP controls and grips - nothing would make me happier than to have a new set of Domino Grips on my K67! As you know I upgraded my braking to the underslung Brembo kit + Stylemas and RCS 17 Corsa Corta (last year) and Alpha Racing Full Floating Rotors and the differences over the Nissin set up, especially on the track, is remarkable...eager to see you get started. Oh, and keep the yellow springs....cheers. Dan
I would want the springs to be blue, adds more BMW vibe to the bike. And yes get as more M's off the bike. Keep the aero disc. And get rid of the heated grips. Getting excited for this build. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I would say leave the spring yellow. It represents ohlins and it’s like adding a extra diamond to an already beautiful peace of jewelry. The stylema brake will be perfect. I am loving what your plans are. It’s going to epic and one of a kind!🔥🔥🔥🔥

For me it gonna be better with lightech R series rearset and with arrow pista exhaust not just comp model and maybe upgrade the swingarm and clutch with suter racing product the one that used in WSBK. If it possible used brembo GP4-LM and ohlins FGR 300 . Peace out sir, thanks & what a sick bike

I’d definitely leave the yellow Ohlins spring. 👍 The gold floating Brembo Supersport rotors are sweet. I ended up finding a set after you guys weren’t able to get them in decent time. They would be sweet on that bike. I like them better than the the T mounts. The SC-1R full exhaust would be sweet on that bike.
It is not the throttle that plays, its the full housing. Has nothing to do with cruise control. Cruise control tuns off with the pressure of the brake.
@@Motomillion if it's like on the gs then there are several ways to turn off cruise control, one being twisting the throttle forwards. But yeah the housing itself is wiggly too which sucks.
Why is it that BMW do not use Ohlins on the S or M1000rr. PPF on a bike is essential at this point and I can't wait to see this build over time. Edit: Well, at least Manny explained why they don’t use Ohlins. Red Brembo Stylema Calipers and a black spring for the TTX GP shock.
I’ve never seen a reason to replace the wheels unless you’re racing, and only then (for me) it’s a maybe. On the street, lighter wheels are a bit of an overkill. Why not just buy a set of aftermarket wheels with ceramic bearings and store the stock ones? Those BMW rims look good as is and I’d hate to damage them.
Man stick with the akra mid length muffler I dont like too loud exhaust systems and it looks better because it's carbon,for the rims I don't think it's worth the hassle to change them these are good rims unless you could get your hands on the wsbk forged mag wheels,if you couldn't get them keep the carbon,I guess they did some improvements on them over the past years, I don't think you will have any problems running them!!
There is no WSBK forged mags, forged mags are banned from WSBK. From what it looks like the carbon ones will stay on there for now! The Mid Length muffler is great, you may just have the same taste as we do!
Dull compared to some other options out there. The BMW's have always been too sterile, this is compared to the R1M and the Ducati superbikes which are the same price point.
I feel, My opinion.. but I feel the S1 thous, have become the ME TOO bike .. everybody has 1 now .. sad to say the R1's are to ... And Im a Yamaha fanboy 😂😂 , stand with that brand

the forward play in the right side grip is actually intentional. to turn off the cruise control you twist it forward
