- The new 2023 BMW M1000RR is a beauty! And we want to make sure it's beauty doesn't get ruined, so we've got some prepping to do before we take it out on its first ride.
These are the essentials for every bike here at Motomillion. What do we do?
1. Radiator & Oil Guards - bit.ly/3Wz74pc
Avoid the catastrophe of having your radiator/oil cooler punctured by a rock mid-ride. Absolutely essential.
2. PPF (Paint protection film)
In the case of the 2023 M1000RR, it has a lot of beautiful carbon, and unfortunately, carbon fiber chips very easily, so to prevent any rock-chips, we are getting our good friend Nicolas at Autolaboratory to PPF the M1000RR!
3. NRC Fender Eliminator Kit - bit.ly/423TJq0
Because c'mon, who wants to ride with the ugly stock fender?! NRC cleans up the rear fender beautifully, and it is bright and visible from all angles.

With all that black carbon, I think those radiator guards is a clear improvement in looks also, besides the long term benefits. It flows well with all the black carbon, and gives off that same "texture" feel. The rear was also a major improvement! Looks so much cleaner, especially that rear camera shot was great, just adds to the overall aggressive look, making for a leaner and more sleek monster :)
Yes! We love the radiator guards because they black out the gray
You know, I really appreciate your M1k preparing video! As a future owner of m1k that I order here in Philly, I learn something new everytime when I watch your youtube videos…
Thank you for watching!
Can’t wait to see this series!
Another banger video!!!
I watched the full video, I can’t wait to see the finished product 😮💨
Nicholas is the man! I can vouch for the radiator guards, I took a rock from another bike to my R1 put a hole right through it and had to replace the radiator. You better believe I got the radiator guard from Motomillion, no issues after that.
Thanks Kenny!
12:18 looks like the bike has its horns.
I love this series so much!
Thank you! Got a lot of awesome updates to come!
@@Motomillion and I got a lot of my money coming your way when my M1000RR Competition arrives. I might start stocking up on some items ahead of time in preparation. You are very smart to do the PPF first. I need to find an installer here in Reno. With my 2015 BMW S1000RR, they had precut 3M film to make things very easy. Not sure if that will be available in the future. It would sure help.
This Alpha racing stand looks really nice 😊
Great job so far 😊
Thank you Tas!
Loving this series, these are the first vids that have really made me think this bike looks amazing 😍 Any idea of NRC is going to release the red lens light for the 20-22 S1Ks?
I don't think they will release it for the 2020-2022 models at this point anymore. Good reason to upgrade to the 2023 (:
@@Motomillion 🤣🤣🤣 I just got the break-in service done on my 22 last week 🤪 I guess I can't see that white lens when I'm riding anyway 😉
Dayyummmm! 🔥
Manny, I can completely endorse a radiator and oil guard. Have had both on my 17 S1000R since it was new, and it has taken some hits in its 54000km. The aluminium in the radiator and oil cooler is very soft and the brand of protector that I have fitted is far sturdier. Hate to think how damaged the radiator and oil cooler might be if no protector was fitted. 😅
not bad for starter pack upgrades
Replace them wings... Need an aftermarket wing thats more flattering
That M 1000RR is a beautiful motorcycle but your motorcycle lift caught my eye. What brand is the lift and where would I buy one? Thanks
DREAM BIKE ❤ put some bolts on the foot peg so its safe from dust or rusting
The rear subframe is aluminum, it won't rust (:
How many bolts you have to take off for the body fairing on your video ? You didn’t really specify how to remove it
Wonder how it will look with the ducati superleggera winglets🤔much better than those stock winglets in my opinion 😁
What is the reason of having 2 piston rings over 3 in this bike
that ppf looks like a horrible job to apply, but it is sure worth it! just curious why you put the film on the tank (i think), thought you wanted to replace it with a carbon tank anyway or at least remove the M logo?
We did it to make sure it doesn't get scratched while we ride it and put some miles on it. Definitely switching it to the carbon tank.
There’s a designated paddock for bmw or other bike like R1M?
It is designed for the BMW S1000RR and M1000RR!
2000$ ppf must be expencive to do it?
Would that NRC tail work on the 2020-2022 S1000rr?
I believe he already mentioned that there's another version for the S-RR 2020 above
@@sasbravo6 I know about the other version but this one is nicer!
They most likely will not update the previous model years.
Hello,
amazing MUSIC, who is it ? 😊
Hi! These are the songs in order:
1. Cushy - Power
2. Blue Steel - Estate
3. Wave Saver - Humbot
4. Silver Maple - The Farmhouse
5. T Shirts & Sweats - Don't Bother
6. Jharee - Dark Skies
@@Motomillion wow, thank you
silver Maple - the farm house , wow
@@Motomillion don't bother , amazing
👍🙂
The bike looks so much better without the winglets!!
Man, I really like them. Love at first sight here, but I can see why other wouldn't like them.
Nop, they suit the bike
Without the winglets it looks like it has a huge head. But I don't really like the overall design of the m1krr. The old hp4 Competition is still my favorite in terms of looks.
@@kowalski2334 the hp4 2017 ?
@@QuarantaQuattro 2012-2014, I mean the road legal hp4 not the race version
to me the 2022 is way better, the most things I didn't like is the new winglets they look so exaggerating in their look and length
In person, this bike is much nicer!
Please get a new MC work table. You have $30K plus bikes, with crazy $$ builds on a cheap Chinese Harbor Freight work table. Your quality of work deserves better.
The benches and tables are Husky brand, not Harbor Freight.
Should have gone for Evotech radiator and oil cooler guards. Zip ties are nasty
Hay chips in the plastic your to mad all bikes these days are plastic an anodized aluminium
That's the point of the PPF. That bike's farings are not plastic; they're carbon fiber, which chips with rocks.
Big deal not as if your racing
one for the ducati fan boys but BMW is superior to ducati unless youre a pro racer which 99.9% are not!
99.9% of people buy these to ride on the street, not to pro race or race.
