Well both of those models are basically the same so I would say no point in getting the sc3 when you have the easy fix model. But yes this is a decent entry level steamer for light to medium jobs.
Hi mate, great video. Is cleaning seats and carpet with a steamer enough for a deep clean? Would you not need vacuum power combined with the steam to draw the dirt and grime out?
Thanks...I would say the best way to clean carpets and seats is with a spray extractor you can see my full review on one here ua-cam.com/video/zL7b8xnEJPg/v-deo.html and have a look at my interior detail videosua-cam.com/video/rXIZXdakk3w/v-deo.html You can always use steam to help but the spray extractor seems to work just fine 👍
Just watched the linked videos. Quick few questions, if looking to use the steam cleaner to clean the interior, is it best(needed) to use the extractor afterward to extract as much dirt as possible? Or is it possible to just use just the steam cleaner and micro fibre towels? Also, do you use the steam cleaner on the exterior as well? Seems to very time efficient from what I've seen. Just asking as I'm in Australia and doing very basic and cheap cleans for a car share company. I'm getting offered work with other businesses to regularly clean their fleets but want to expand the scope of what I offer while keeping the process as simple, quick, competitive(price wise) and portable (I'll be in car parks and tighter spaces often) as possible. Cheers, again mate. Good channel👍
The steam cleaner is normally used for leather and harder surfaces on the interior. Steaming carpets and cloth seats and following with microfibre will never get the same amount of dirt out as an extractor. I would say the extractor is a more useful tool for cloth and carpet and thats it no need for steaming at all on those surfaces. Leather and hard surfaces don't really need steam if you have a cleaner but it helps get a deeper clean for a detailing level and of course makes cleaning with no cleaners easier. Basically both are needed for their own job you can't really have one and use it for everything unfortunately For steaming the exterior I generally only use it in the engine bay other than that it's all interior If you are doing a detailing buisness i would say have both machines in your arsenal cause they will be useful in differnt cases and help in the long run.
Hi there, great video. I need to steam clean carpets regularly to control my dust mite allergy. However, I also need to steam my shirts for work but did not want to buy a separate machine for space reasons (I have a very small room). So, do you think I could steam garments using the upholstery nozzles of this machine? This way when I bring out my steam cleaner, I can do my carpets / mattress / and work shirts at once just by switching between the accessories and/or the temperature setting. In that case, how would I control the temperature for clothes so I do not ruin them? thank you :)
Thank you...so I obviously haven't tried it as an iron and I wouldn't recommend it just cause its not designed for the purpose like the steam could be too strong possibly for clothes. As for temperature it can't be controlled but steam flow has a high and low setting
@@autoexquisitedetail7706 how come the steam is not consisten?. Shoots out sporadically. The water is full and it’s a brand new machine just out of the box.
I would say with bird droppings lots of lubricant like soap and water and gentle lifting motion dont scrub in and that will work best...the steam would help loosen it but you would still need some physical cleaning to remove everything
@@autoexquisitedetail7706 thank you for your answer. I use to spray it in with very hot water. Keep spraying til removed. That way it is kind of touchles. I would say the steamer is good for the dry hardened droppings so they dissolve better.
No the steam and water droplets could damage them. It's fine to pass over the electronics in a car at a distance so moisture doesn't go in but I would still be very cautious
Steam generally is said to kill germs and viruses but the product doesn't specifically say so. I can't guarantee this as a disinfecting method you'd have to externally research on steam more.
Nice simple straight forward review, no messing around. Excellent, thank you!
Thank you 👍
Very nice and decent SC, would also recommend this one, currently im using the SC 3 Easyfix Delux.

Hi. What is the price. Who stocks sc3.
Thank you very much!!
Can i use this steam cleaner with a power station like a ecoflow? how much wattage should the power station be?
My cleaner has failed me after only a few uses ,I’m not very impressed and I will never ever buy another Kärcher .
Really useful!
Thanks👍
Hi. Im. Keen on this machine for our small detailing business. How has it performed over the past year
Its been quite good. I haven't had any issues and its still performing. Besides the bit of water spritzing its perfectly fine for my work
Is it electric or with batteries...thanks for posting this...
It is electric
@@autoexquisitedetail7706 Thank so much, your video is very helpful.
same day how many i can ise this bro
I have bought 1 and i use this but the steam doesnt seem hot enoyhh i can put my hand thriugh it
The steam isn't that powerful yes but this is a more retail type machine not as industrial or professional as others in their range
is it possible to quickly clean electronics when they are turned off.. like say.. electronic piano?
Would not recommend that at all
Unfortunately sc3 is discontinued
Can this seriously deep clean grout floor’s. Also can it plug into a extension cord?
Did u buy it ? Would u recommend
How much water can be filled?
same day how many times i can use this bro can i use 6 cars in daily basis
I wouldnt see why not but for that amount of volume its safer to go with their professional line (grey colour ones) which is more suited
How to clean the filter machine
This filter doesn't need to be cleaned once its finished it needs to be replaced

Some of the SC4 and SC5 kits come with an actual iron attachment designed for steaming garments, you might want to look into that
For how much time it can make steam in full tank?
I would say around 10mins of continuous steam flow
@@autoexquisitedetail7706 how come the steam is not consisten?. Shoots out sporadically. The water is full and it’s a brand new machine just out of the box.
That is how the machine is its not broken. After a few mins of use it does get better but there is always a bit of water spritzing out.

Karcher steam sc2 and sc 4
