This knife was designed for law enforcement and the thin blue line on the pocket clip is to support them, the other designer is a lapd k9 officer

Being a more tactical-orientated knife, the flipper tab shape makes sense to me. It'll catch/block another blade that's being swung towards you. Provides great protection from slipping forward too! I like that is different looking from all the other tabs that look the same. This knife is up there as one of my favorite Kizer's...my most favorite being the Lan in green micarta!
The flipper tab serves as a forward finger guard, it’s a practical and extremely useful design for people who needs it.
The Flipper tab on my Justice is absolutely perfect, considering it is a long, hefty blade. A smaller tab would be ineffective for this knife. Kizer got it right.

Officer Nhut Huynh named this knife after his son Officer Justice Huynh, who is a LAPD SWAT Officer. He told me that Azo has worked intensively with him throughout the whole designing process. Each part of the knife has a functional purpose, the flipper tab, the groove, the thumb studs, the glass breaker, and the thin blue line. Kudos to Officer Nuynh and Azo for this awesome design. 👮🏻♂️
I have a Justice and love it. It’s very fidget friendly and well balanced.

great looking knife. kizer is a great brand.
Screws on the clip should be flat head or counter-sunk. Pretty sure this knife was mentioned be issued and immediately used and a work tool. As such it is fairly refined. The flipper tab is odd. Not sure if it's a maker's style thing or if it got a purpose I just haven't figured out yet. Great knife aside from small issues. Equal in many ways to my Benchmade 710 that I paid more than twice the price for and unlikely to spot rust like D2.
LuvThemKnives: Do you find that the thumbstuds are too pointy on the Kizer Justice or are they even noticeable? Thank you for your feedback.

what is name of the bestech knife you cited in comparing the size? I also agree with the flipper tab, I have the Kizer Sheepdog and Critical and the tab is huge, I often catch my thumb in it while closing.

I like the flow of this knife, simple and yet attractive goes the farthest for me. The flipper could be seen as a finder guard but we don't put to work our folding knives heavily enough that the tab would be useful in that regard. This is on the list, but I'd seriously consider grinding the tab off. The rest of it is quite fine IMO. Interesting about the bearings, as the Knife Center reveal video and on site product description both say it runs on washers so good clarification there.
