I've actually recapped this movie to my mom (who hasn't really seen it) as, "It's basically 'Tinkerbell and the Great Fairy Rescue,' except it's the DAD who believes in the magical creatures and obsesses over them, and it's the DAUGHTER who thinks he's crazy."
Mary Katherine "MK" was named for William Joyce's daughter, who died of a brain tumor. Joyce wrote the story this film is based on, as well as The Guardians of Childhood series, which was adapted into Rise of the Guardians (2012)
@@ohbooyourselvesit is lol, Arthur and the invisibles is the English name, the French is Arthur et Les Mimoys. The original commenter combined them lol
Ty for calling it underrated cause YES. I adore this film. It's not a masterpiece or anything, but I always love it and have a good time when I watch it. It's one of my comfort films on a bad day. The tragedy of the queen and Ronan always makes me sad though :< Thanks for the reaction!
Everytime I watch this movie it brings tears to my eyes. I remember watching this movie as a little kid and just loving it. It reminds me of when times were happy and things were good in my life. It also blows my mind how much time has past since it first came out and since I first seen it. I’ll be 20 soon and I’m like wow, time flys so damn fast. Such an underrated movie, I love ittt❤️
Love your reactions, I'd also love to recommend watching "Strange Magic" If you haven't seen it already. It's a movie about fairy's and has alot of songs in it! I don't want to say anything other than that cuz I don't want to give any spoilers lol
I LOVED this film when I was a teenager. I remember my parents bought it for my siblings and I on Amazon and we watched it at least once a week. I have 65% of the dialogue memorized, lmao. So glad you are watching this and sharing your reaction with us ❤
Yes!!! Its sooo cool I just didnt like that they made the mother such a stereotypical hysterical and inkompenent woman. That felt really distastefull and wrong to me. But asides from that. Such a good movie.
@@BrokensoulRider hmmm ok I didnt mean the writers of Arietty took a character from Epic and made that character into the mother in Arietty. This film is very Underrated. 12:12 Bro, Imagine If Mice were so Innocent and Sweet And humans have been murdering for years. Savage. As soon as I see a wasp, I’m Gone.
I remember this movie, the first 5 - 6 years of my life we didn't have cable (couldn’t afford it) so my mom would buy dvd's every now and then, like 1 or 2 if we were lucky every 4 to 5 months. I remember this exact one, it had barbie on the outside, but when we got home it was actually this movie, I was so bummed out at first, but then loved the movie so much that for like 4 months, I watched the movie at least 3 times a day in a row, I wanted to be the flower girl that became queen so bad, I wanted her powers.
I remember watching this in elementary school for one of my friend's birthday party. We did the thing where you wanna sit at the very front row just for the fact that it's the closest to the screen. So honestly I didn't remember anything about this movie so I rewatched it recently
THANK YOUUUUU! I’ve been waiting SOOOO LONG for someone to finally react to Epic, and I’m glad it’s you who decided to do it! 🥳 I’m so happy and excited! 🎉
Its amazing that youre watching this right now cause at my library job I just started a Tiny Characters themed display and this is one of my top picks for movies in it
I rmred this movie recently when I saw Epic: The Musical and I was super disappointed it wasn't a musical of THIS movie. It's a growing fav but man I was so desperate to have more of this all these years later. I had the dvd as a kid😭❗
Loving the video! If I had one tiny request it would be that the string lights in the background were on the setting where they slowly glow on an off. The one where it goes nuts makes my anxiety think we're in danger lol 😊
This movie is actually the reason why I learned the differences between snails and slugs. Of course I barely remember anything about this movie besides the fact I did watch it once and didn't know what the hell was going on... Might have been because it was live on TV, but ya get my point

I was catching up with some of your videos and it's obvious that you love enemies to lovers stories. Though it's a little late, I would totally recommend "The Cutting Edge" (1992) with D.B. Sweeney and Moira Kelly. It's an Olympic ice skating themed movie that I think you'd maybe like ❤
Everytime someone watches Epic I am reminded of how my younger version had a huge crush on Ned but tbh now that I watched it again and I am older...Ronin kinda 😭
Me the whole video: so when is she gonna realize that the toad is Pitbull 😭
