I was thinking of getting one of those containers (about 2 litres or so, the ones you pump the plunger to build up pressure....and squirt) and use that first, before you start pumping the flush button. That way it will get everything moving down without unnecessarily filling up you storage part

Great video. I love how you explained everything. I just purchased SereneLife portable Toilet for our camping trip in August that we will set up in our shower/dressing room. I pee a lot lol much needed for tent and glamping Now I know how to poo in my portable potty lol😂😂😂😂.
Great review, im just gonna get this just to get it😂. I experienced clogged toilets and couldn’t get a plumber out until later the next day. I figure this would be a great option. I can add this to my camping gear as well, already have a privacy tent for showers, might as well get the toilet
Good call on the Scott single ply. . . My "go to" as well! LOL! ;) Cheap, available & passes the "water jar shake" test! :) My wife hates composting (C-Head 'cline") & cassette toilets. . . So we rebuilt our standard RV toilet last summer. DID go to a macerator pump on our black & gray tank outlet. Does preclude the need for a dump station at a campground, etc.

Brilliant, and entertaining. You stated that you placed water into the flushing water but it had a blue hue - what do you add to the flush water? Anything special?😊
To avoid the smell could you leave the valve closed while you do the business then close the lid, open the valve and flush with the lid down then close the valve again? Maybe laying a couple of strips of toilet paper in the bowl before you dump would help with the skid marks too. Definitely getting one of these, this one seems to be the best model.
Id rather use this then the public restroom at cades cove. Ever seen the restroom there in the middle of summer? After a rain there was a beatle in there the size of a soft ball!!!
Used one similar. Cassette toilet. Not as horrible as some candy a$$es say and get a more expensive one. I looked for Teepee that would work. Found septic safe type at any Dollar General, any Teepee that reads septic safe is suitable. Yes they make nice soft rolls also for precious bottoms, not just the basic sand paper rolls. I use a Cassette in my off grid, as a temporary, until I built in some thing more permanent...however it works fine and not that hanous to empty, clean and deodorize. Even guests visiting don't mind using if need to facilitate.
@@theboonboxers Super easy and responsive. I bought it because I thought it would make me feel better because it was more like a modern flush toilet and it does. I bought the floor plate also and it is great. However! And peeps may have noticed reviews about the flush mechanism breaking. I live where there's pretty mild winter but a few days when it did snow, the flush DID NOT WORK, no water would come out! I had started a return/exchange with Amazon but got busy with work. A few days later, it had warmed up and I tried to use it and it worked. I can only assume that water was frozen in the flush mechanisms/tubes or the batteries were too cold. I don't know if the one you have will or will not flush when the weather is, I don't know, below freezing. I have an electric blanket and toss it on it when it's below freezing since then. Overall, they are the nicest, real looking/feeling camping toilet with just about perfect height out there!
next time you have some leftover gloss clear paint, epoxy (or) poly resin, clearcoat ? simply skin the bowl. Envirotex left over from a fishing rod resto , just made my bowl slicker than...

Any issues with all the toilet paper actually breaking down and dumping out? It doesnt ever clog things up? Oh and what chemical are you using in the fresh water to flush with?
To clean the toilet bowl use a spray bottle of all-purpose cleaner... also I use a rechargeable toilet brush... it makes cleaning the toilet a slam dunk.

We have dumped ours in a vault toilet when last resort. Technically I don't think it's legal... That being said, we try to find flush toilets at parks and just make sure not to make a mess. It holds quite a bit of waste, I'd say for 1 person using it multiple times a day about a week. If you don't mind peeing in a separate container it could go much longer... But then starts to smell
