Coachmen does have an Apex Nano with the same floor plan but no slide, the dinette and kitchen area swap sides though, it’s called the 187RB. 6in shorter and about 100lbs lighter on the dry weight. Same GVWR of 4700 for both.
Nice little RV. My dad has the Apex Nano 203RBK model. Basically the same interior layout but it’s dual axle and has an enormous outdoor kitchen. These are really nice rigs with over all great build quality
Thanks for doing a small RV walkthrough! I looked at them at my local Apex dealer. It was a tough decision between a Geo Pro, Apex or Minnie Winnie. Based on my experience, a 7' wide is the max width I'd tow with any mid-sized truck or SUV. Any wider will be a nuisance to see around, even with add-on tow mirrors. My Geo Pro is 7' wide. I can tow it without extendable tow mirrors on my 2017 Colorado, but I may upgrade to some aftermarket extending tow mirrors that are designed like the OEM GM tow mirrors used of full sized trucks.
Hey JD hope you're having a great day. I like this Apex Nano travel trailer. I do wish that the bedroom had a black out curtain or a wall to separate the bedroom from the rest of the trailer. It has a lot of room on the inside of the trailer, plus decent storage on the outside. I like the automotive windshield on the front too. Height wise I think you said that a person could be around 6'5" tall I think that's what you said I hope? Thank you JD for everything that you do an all the different information that you give us on all the. Your number one fan Leonard from NC.
Good review. Any chance you could try to include tank sizes in the future? It's a pretty big deal for those of us who rarely stay at full hookup campgrounds.
If someone would build a camper perfect for a couple and their dogs. This has no place to sit other than in a cramped booth edge of the bed or the toilet. I say ditch the booth replace with loveseat or couch with tv trays to eat off of. Maybe a Murphy bed with seating area.
Exactly! My wife and I have been searching for the perfect trailer for us and our 2 large dogs. That’s a tall task for a trailer that’s not to big. The closest we’ve seen so far is the Winnebago fLX series with the Murphy bed and bunks. They have great solar packages and an amazing Truma AC.
at 7.5' wide, it won't be a pleasant experience towing with a smaller truck. You won't be able to see around it very well, even with add-on tow mirrors. I tow a 7' Wide Geo Pro with my Colorado and wouldn't want to tow a 7.5' wide trailer.
The first two minutes is a lecture on what can and should tow this. Ffd. "Green cerified" meaning we made up a term up so you'd feel better about your purchases. Id also like a window by the bed and door for when and if you hear weird noise out side you can just have a quick look. Racoons usually.
Thanks for doing this review. P.S. it also has a 100W solar panel included.

That's a great little unit. Love all the storage in the bathroom and the fact that it has a sink in it.
Definitely a nice little unit. Thanks for the review!
I think this would be just perfect for my dogs and I

The north-south bed is nice! Most 19FBS style floor plans have an east-west bed - that's what the Geo Pro 19FBS has.
I love the sink next to the shower. Class Cs seem to do the reverse.
These are under 27k right now. Still a fantastic unit for the money.
I may have seaid this before but I like the bigger sink this has more room for washing dishes good layout inside to

Nice. Very nice
Get rid of the bath sink cab, and recenter the toilet. Also, provide some drawer space in the kitchen area
its good ,....run
Does it have an interter to charge front batteries?
Great Video … Do you think a 2016 Honda Pilot could tow it ? #BigTruckBigRv
The AWD 2016 honda pilot will tow it. The 2WD will not. The drivetrain in the 2WD wont handle it loaded, would be maxed at dry weight.
You sound like Jon Cryer
Is it ok to sleep on the bed if it's on a slide and still in?
I would have added about 2 ft: than you would be able to close off the bedroom.
Can a Toyota Tacoma Sr5, 6 cyl tow this apex trailer?
Is it equipped with the tow package?
If yes then yes it can tow this trailer.
Take your vin # to a Toyota dealership and they can look it up and give you your tow # and cargo # for that truck , i hope that helps

What about solar
To much for little rv!
Don’t understand why one axle that seems dumb not that much more expensive
Could be towed by a Land Rover Defender
That bathroom is not fluffy friendly….

i like the design but build quality kills it......
