Its a walk in the park once you understand the iteration. Most professors get embroiled in ...lets say other things or trying to sound smarter than is necessary. These are very, very simple equations.
@@n-da-bunka2650 Our professor confuses most students (at least during lecture where we do not have much time to think through) so we have to figure it out online ourselves lol
our professor knows absolutely nothing about this and i was very concerned about whether i’d be able to understand this ever. thank you so much, you just saved me!
Such a clear explanation!! I suddenly had to sub for a professor for this topic and had to refresh my knowledge on this. I realized I barely retained anything on this topic and the book just left me more confused. This video really helped! Thanks so much Meghan!
With all due respect, some people do not know how to teach but that lady definitely knows. Straight to the point with the application, no confusions and very clear
This is an extremely clear explanation, but there is a MISTAKE at 6:25 where you mistakenly divided by 3 instead of 4, getting 20/51 instead of 20/68=5/17. It seems spectacular to me that half a million people watched this video and not a single one bothered to check, so I might be wrong, please point out my mistake if that's the case.
All these Indian tutor videos of durations ranging from 30mins to above an hour, blabbering on and on about the same old memorized technique without any sort of explanations; and here this video is, just about 8mins and my mind is blown. Thank you very much! Much respect all the way from the land of spices. And turbans.
Learning this before my lecturer teaches us this method during our class this evening. THANK YOU! Gonna help my friends with this knowledge if they become confused during lecture
I wanted to thank you for explaining this, I was really struggling with this and my teacher and her notes were basically worthless. Your explanation was clear and concise and I appreciate you.
This is the first time i understood instead of repeating the method over and over again our professor is really good and he explains great but the method he used to calculate was somehow complex ......and instead of that....i understood the row operations here best just ......thank you ... This'll help me very much tomorrow in exams
the thing i m gonna say may not be relative to the course. ur voice is close to my grandma, it s soft and warm, i never thought i can hear it on youtube. thanks
thank you, even though i had problems with a slightly different version of the simplex, your explaining was clear enough for me to still be able to learn. im really greateful
Wow. That is so much different from what my teachers taught me here in India. And tbh this seems far more easier, intuitive and useful. IDK why do they have to complicate it so much. Thank you Meghan for sharing this one. I'm gonna subscribe.
guys kindly get knowledge first on simplex methods, get to know what is slacks, surplus.i promise you u wont regret watching this video after having such knowledge, thank you mum you are amazing,,,,your formular is the best,i watched many videos, but this is the best am fun of #wise kauser but actually this is the best video, thanx once again
I'm going to have to watch this over and over! I want to revise on the Simplex method I used at university years ago and I now have something I would like to use it for. Just for me, not work! However, I have forgotten the elements of the method. I was a bit lost but as you went on it became clearer but I will need to, as I said, keep watching until the penny drops!!
But if the number in the pivot column is negative, how am i gonna choose the pivot element? Since i want to look for the smallest, but can it be negative ?
I have watched several videos that were UpTo 30mins and still didn't understand. Before watching your video, I was skeptical because I asked myself I'd i didn't understand in long videos how much then in a short tutorial. But no, I was wrong. Thank you a lot Ma'am.
I wish this woman good health, happiness and money, loved the explanation!
I wish same for you
that's awsome explanation
I learned more about how to do this method in 7 minutes and 43 seconds than I did in an hour of hand-wavy lectures. Thank you very much.
This is spectacular! My professor spent hours making this insanely confusing, and you made it sound like a walk in the park!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Thank you so much! God bless! Why other professors get so lazy and uable to explain anything clearly and step by step. Amazing woman and tutor!
I wanted to thank you for explaining this, I was really struggling with this and my teacher and her notes were basically worthless. Your explanation was clear and concise and I appreciate you.
Same here. I think we need to send Ms. De Witt on tour and have her stand in for every teacher on the day they explain this, LOL.

Thank you so much. Super clear and helpful
Superb explanation. Thank you!
I think there a mistake in the last step, when you pick R2 - 1/4 R1, w should be 5/17, not 20/51. Anyway, thanks for your video.
it doesn't matter as they become the zero factors
Be blessed... My lecturer was just copy pasting a pdf without elaborating how....
You made it so easy. thanks
Thank Heavens for this video🙌🏼
Thanks for the great content! Minor mistake: It should be 20/68 instead of 20/51 and 52/68 instead of 52/51 in the last step.
How did I have to scroll this much to find this error reported

OK... So when finding the pivot row and you get a zero... Since you are in for the smallest number do you choose the zero as the pivot row or not
thank you so much it was really usefull for me
