Let me know if you have this type of coating on your boat or if you have another kind! Article is up on the website! - www.jtgatoring.com/wetlander-slick-bottom-coating-before-and-after/
That is awsome. The results speak for themselves. Truly appreciate you posting this. Im waiting to see your water test when transom is fixed. I started using my boat for cat lines today. I have to say I think for sure after this year its going on my boat. The backwater mud motor is working well by the way. I have to say Im very pleased with the preadtor 420cc on it. Im looking forward to your next vid bud.
Yes sir! I'm excited to get it out on the water and see how it is. We've been getting a lot more rain with some sunshine, so the vegetation should be going crazy out on the river and lakes. I'll have fun testing the Swamp Runner and the Wetlander in the weeds. If you're putting the Wetalander on next year, then you'll have plenty of time to see how it holds up for me. Thats great to hear about your Backwater mud motor! I enjoy my 420cc Predator. Thank you for watching Justin! 🎣
I was skeptical at first but watching the stripping, priming, and top coat videos I have to say I am impressed by your results. Great idea you had with the tow test.
Greetings... Good video, I use Herculiner inside and outside the boat. I'm not looking for more speed, just some protection against scratches, scrapes and bumps
Thank you! I think herculiner will work for what you want then. I would just be worried that it would decrease overall speed. That may be something worth experimenting with
Im thinking about spraying the bottom of my SUP to try and add some extra durability to the hull. That is once it’s all scratched up and ready for some TLC. Right now it’s brand new and hasn’t even been on the water yet.
The wetlander has been great. I have done a second coat in the wear area. Those videos are on this channel too. I haven't used my boat much since the videos stopped being posted, so I have not needed to put a third coat on yet.
There has been no noticeable difference in speed or fuel burn. The only difference so far is that the boat really slides with easy over grass and the motor doesn't have to work as hard to go over/through thick grass
Nice video.... I guess you shouldn't disconnect the trailer winch before backing the boat in the water :). Did I miss something... why are you having to repair your transom... isn't the boat only a year or two old?
I'm going to try really hard not to disconnect the boat from the trailer winch haha it is muscle memory and its going to be hard to break that habit 😂 I never really mentioned the transom situation before because I was trying to get it sorted out with Alumacraft, BUT after a long email debate they said "In making a modification to the boat that has compromised the structural integrity of the boat, and by installing a motor on the boat, that the boat was not designed or intended to have installed on it, yes you are voiding the warranty." so I now have to fix it myself and I no longer have a warranty on my 2016 Alumacraft that I bought new. Bummer for me, but now I can let people that are interested in the longtail mud motor world know that before they purchase a boat and/or mud motor.
Yeah its a bunch of nonsense with the transom issue, but I guess one positive is that others like yourself now know before it happens to you. So if you do run into an issue, you know what to expect. The Wetlander, on the other hand, is great and I'm really enjoying it. Standing up pretty good so far

loving the edit man, I can tell your putting some thought into it!! Keep it up
Thank you for noticing Rush Voorhis Outdoors!! 👊

Thank you very much @Andrew Limb!! I was skeptical at first too and it sure did surprise me when I did the test hahaha make me double check my scale

Good idea! It would probably work!
Does it make the boat go faster?
Great Video JT! Do you know if this stuff will work on Polyethylene?
If paint will stick to it, then I would think the wetlander would. Send them an email and Scott will let you know.
The sliding test with your phone and the jugs was very cool do you think that would increase your speed on the water as well????
Some people have experienced speed increases. I did not have any noticeable speed gain
How long has this lated? Have you needed to reapply since the first coating?

where can i get it
This is where I got mine - wetlander.myshopify.com/

Sent a PM
Sent you one back
That’s impressive
Isn't it? I was really surprised with it!
I like the product but very expensive I would need proof on the product durability in the water thanks
Yeah, it is pricey. I've done a few update videos since if you are interested.
@@JTgatoring thanks did survive the water test?? Or leak test?? Thanks
@@MrCarmelo1959 Yeah it completely sealed the boat. No water leaks at all and it is pretty tough stuff.
excellent job. night and day difference, worth the effort. too bad by just putting on a mud motor voids the warranty. kinda b.s.

@@JTgatoring great news.
Awesome!
Yes sir! Can't wait to get it out on the water and see if I notice any difference! One thing is for certain, its slick!
Clearly on a decline 🤣🤣🤣
Correct. Something would not slide downhill if it was level
