Now....back than in Berlin we had these synths, sampler, HD recorders and outboard effect expanders....the second hand market was incredible in that time. NOW the hardware synths are expensive....but back in the 90ies we didn't have the octa core multiple Ghz computers with today's vst synths and plug inns.

Beautiful times, the golden age of Rave and Techno music. Like this I don't think anyone can achieve a success like the Love Parade. At that time, freedom was literally in the air on the streets and now... we don't appreciate freedom, health, love...

Yes, where at least 50% are people that don’t really love the music, but the hype that comes with partying, had it been rock music, those 50% would still be there. A lot of fakes as always.
I love hardstyle techno genres like frenchcore for example, but typical berlin techno has always been insanely boring to me. unless you are not on a whole cocktail of drugs, i dont see how can someone enjoy this music.. its so bland.
