Hey bro what about light novel I think light novel is easy more than manga
Because in light novel we don't need to make too much scene and character compare to manga
Hey bro can you make it free
No one’s know me yet, but they will soon. By soon it might be years from now. But I’ve been working on my story for four years in my head. I remember every single detail and all my characters, development and personality traits. I’m very good at writing my story, I’ve been told by many people, that it’s really good, and you know you don’t have to believe me, but I believe in myself, and I hope through watching your channel and other channels, I can learn how to set up manga panels correctly because I can draw and write I just need help with the manga set up and I think I’ll be good to go but for anyone who feels discourage, you’re not alone, and if you believe in you put forth the effort and something you love and you want to do you’ll get far I promise
Did you start your story at the end or the beginning
Then perhaos you might want to check out my stuff. I teach people how to bring stories to life, through AI. This is the way of the future.
Same thing for me I feel you but I only started 1 year ago, it's nice to see someone thinking the same. I would be really interrested to know more about your story.
@@BaneOfV I couldn’t really say if I started it from the beginning or the end because for me, it wasn’t supposed to be a story. I was just trying to escape the hard times that I was going through the pain and suffering that I was feeling through making my own friends in my head, but eventually, I realized that I wanted it to be a story that not only help me but to help other people understand that they’re not alone and whatever they’re going through that’s why I am making my story
@@Gabydoo i’ve been working on my story for a very long time I know how to draw and I know how to write and I mainly been drawing them. I’m working on the character development and the story I’m still working on, so it’s not completely done even though I’ve been working on it for a long time they’re still rough edges in some gaps I need to fill up I also don’t really feel comfortable talking about it online because I have an irrational fear of sharing my stuff and I want to share it when I am completely sure what I’m putting out there is the best I can give but I’m glad someone understands and I have someone else I can relate to all I want is to share a story that helps people not feel the way I feel when I started working on it I worked on it because I felt alone, and I was going through so much, and in that I healed myself through my story and I hope to help other people understand that they’re not alone, and that there’s people out there that understand them no matter what they’re going through!

If it wasn't for your videos, I would never have decided to start my journey to become a manga artist. I have the world to thank you, Gakusei
Very happy to hear that! Give your best on your manga journey! Btw my name is muto, gakusei stands for me being a student ;)
Just wanna throw out the books "Understanding Comics" and "Making Comics" by Scott McCloud. They're two comics about comics as a medium, which includes manga (so of course he talks about it) and i can tell you that even after several decades they are some of the best books you can read about comics/manga.
You ever listen to someone explain something and think to yourself "This guy gets it." ?
I have never thought that more than with Scott McCloud.
These are amazing books that I read some chapters of and I would definitely recommend them!
I can’t wait to show you my manga I’ve been working on!
Once it’s released please say where to find it!! I’d be interested to read!
It's so good to know that you're not alone in this journey! I'm so happy to have met your channel! Very Inspiring!!

Would be happy to do that, just let me know!
Thank you! This was very helpful.
no problem 👌
This was good because of you didnt focus on the technical things to much but really at the core of why learning in general can be hard. Well spoken and you helped me with it, will follow you in my journay
the algorithm knows what I want, this popped up on my feed after I finished the 2nd volume of tanya the evil, honestly what inspired me to start drawing a while back and wanting to make my own, shinobu did an amazing job with the manga, and studio NUT did a fantastic job making the anime, all around makes me wanna draw so glad this video found me🙂👍
i wish more manga tutorials videos would focus more on the writing aspect. i feel like thats harder than actually drawing the pages, especially when you aren’t a skilled writer.
Your Channel is so heppful, man. Everytime you post new art, we can see your improvement, always more and more professional and beautiful. Keep up, man! I'm working on my stuff too

I'm teaching myself how to be a manga artist. I have books on it and I have watched your channel and others like it. I'm good at fan art. But making an original character is hard right now. I'm doing my best.
helloo i am making an anime too and im making a discord server for everyone having a job for doing the anime (voice, animation, story and many other thing) are you interested ?
No thanks. But I appreciate the offer. I'm working on my manga as a hobby for now.
Thank you Gakusei Muto, i dont wanna die anymore
I have been actually making a few little practice mangas on my phone and im making quite alot of progress but and im doing well on perspective and there might be a perspective l have alittle bit of trouble doing but lm trying to learn more about panels. And the marks to really make it look like my characters are moving and also the exaggerated expressions l feel like not many talk about
And im so trying to world build using my own creativity l feel like every fantasy mangaka should do
And eventually im deciding on what genre my first published manga could be
I AM A YOUNG GIRL WHO LIVES I KENYA AND EVERYONE EXPECTS ME TO BE A LAWYER BUT MY AUNT GAVE ME THE PUSH TO PURSUE ART AND I AM WRITING MY STORY AND EVELOPING MY CHARACTERS AND THIS VIDEOS REALLY HELP ME TO DEVELOP IN MY ART AND I AM CURRENTLY 12 YEARS OLD AND MAY GOD BE WITH ME SO I CAN ACCOMPLISH MY GOAL AND TO SUCCEED AND TO PASS A MESSAGE AND ENTERTAIN PEOPLE SO THEY ENJOW MY ART AND ALSO I JOPE YO TURN MY ART INTO ANIME AND GET STUDIOS LIKE MAPPA,WIT STUDIO OR EVEN CREATE MY OWN STUDIO PLEASE THANKS FOR THE VIDEOS THEY HELPED ALOT

If I finish my first manga months from now and find out that you ran out of remaining Manga Reviews, how long do you think I'll have to wait for me to have a chance of getting a review?
Awesome video, by the way! Cheers 😊
DM me on discord as soon as you are finished, i will make sure to give u a review. And btw to get a manga review, the manga doesn't have to be finished 🤝
@@gakuseimuto how many pages do you think is adequate for a manga artist's first one shot?
20 pages at max if this is your first time, but I would say between 20 and 45
if u don't mind, can i ask what devices are you using when you make art and the brand/model of ur laptop
My laptop is Acer nitro 5, and I have a cheap Wacom tablet
For a manga, you don’t need to know full anatomy, just basic proportions.
I think what's crazy is he draws with his Gpen at 14.1 and not an whole number/
I also recommend the manga panels videos of totally not mark
Thanks
I love your video I'm new here friend❤
good video
Haha thanks
Already started mines, just trying to make it popular but it's tough
Good luck 🍀
I promised myself by January to have 100 pages of the story I have currently on my mind, not to become famous or publish but to get better trough practice
💪🔥
I dont have an ego but this "dont worry ur a student u dont have to be that good" no i wanna be the best and better and aim for higher goals
You clearly didn't understand what I said lil bro, being a student doesn't mean you are not good or can't strive for bigger goals, it just means that u always have something to learn no matter what your level is. Rewatch the vid and then come then comment once u actually pay attention to what I say next time
You want to be Reina Kousaka. You have the right mindset.
I wonder if you would review just the story portion on your Patreon, because I’m no artist
Yeah I review stories too on Patreon, a lot of people just sent me their stories. DM on discord if ur still interested
Here's a question muto , in my case i mean i have recently thought about writing a story , altho i can draw on paper, i just tried few sketches of anime characters nd they turned out to be good, but i guess i am more good at writing stories ,so how do i start it ? I mean i can express, i can imagine really good stuffs , but still i am a bit confused how to start .
Marc brunet
I want to make manga and it’s mostly serialization I’m worried about. I don’t know any company to publish manga and where I profit from. Is the only way to spread it and actually make it to the top is by going to Japan? Can you give me ideas Gakusei.🤔
Most people need to first get better at making manga before thinking about getting serialized because if you're not good at making manga then you are missing the first step. But if you are good then winning a manga contest is your door to japan
Your laptop look like a MSI GF65 Thin 9SD. It is good for Digital Art?
My is a MSI GF65 Thin 9SD Intel Core i5-10300H 8GB Ram. I ask because every time I connected this laptop to my XP Pen Artist Pro 16.
My laptop's fan get a little louder and the side get a little heated. Should I be worry?
My laptop is perfect for digital drawing. And I can buy an additional fan for ur laptop if u need to as well
Amazing vid btw what program u use for drawing?
Thank you 🙏 I use clip studio paint
@@gakuseimuto thank you for the answer
i wish i could make a manga with an interesting story telling like oda and toriyama
Nothing will happen if you wish, but if actually put in the work, then you can
@@gakuseimuto yeah u i know ill do it after my exam ends, currently focusing on that so... thanks for suggestion
How do I bring my manga from paper to actually be printed and be an actual book?
You need to go to a publisher, or print it yourself, there a lot of print on demand websites
I wish I had a friend who likes drawing and sketching like me I want to become a manga artist but I’m not motivated
Don't rely on motivation only to make manga. You can watch the lesson "why" on my Patreon if u want, it's pretty eye-opening. U can also join the discord, there are a lot of people there who share the same dream as u
What app do u use and what light pen do u use? Please tell the *name of those items you use for your manga creation* .
Your inspiring thank you🙏
I use clip studio paint and the pen I use is a normal G pen
Thank you so much
the problem is there are so much manga and i dont know how to make my story
I feel you, watch out for future content
One question what’s a good drawing pad to start with ?
A cheap Wacom tablet
bro, I'm making a manga but using DC art stayle, is that a good idea or a bad idea?
There is no good or bad when it comes to art style
I am really good at story writing, I can think of an anime idea that can get as popular as animes like attack on titan in less than half an hour. My problem is drawing. The problem is not the time or the boredom, i was always the worst at drawing anything it is way too hard for me. Is there any way that I can make a manga without drawing it myself
you could pay an artist to draw it for you!
Commission someone. Oshi no Ko author did the same.
helloo i am making an anime too and im making a discord server for everyone having a job for doing the anime (voice, animation, story and many other thing) are you interested ?
but do you draw manga in paper and for more copies you print them because i f you do that in pc it means it is anime
I draw manga digitally and it is still called manga not anime
What do you think make Rent A Girlfriend one of the greatest mangas of all time?
I absolutely agree 💯💯
I have already written my own light novel. My issue is that I don't know where to find a suitable partner.
Yeah it's hard, you can try out searching for one in my discord, but you always need to put out what you also bring to the table
Should start Art channel or use same channel i that i use for games uploads.
Make a new channel
What if I only want to focus on storyline? Not drawing. Is there anyway I can still be manga creator?
If you find an artist that wants to collaborate with then yes, but u have to be really good at writing to achieve that
you could try writing a light novel
@@ireallylikepenguins9331 Yes. Thing is, I want it to be a manga for the same reason some people like watching movies instead. The visual arts.
What made this be called manga? Is it because of the language from a spesific country or it just the style of the work/art?
Manga is just comics in Japan with unique style I think
manga is read the opposite way, aka right to left!
no,manga is read the opposite way, aka right to left!@@NecordedOne
My friend bought like Marc art school but he said that Marc talks way too much and he doesn't get to the point. which is weird because Marc also has ADHD like my friend and people with ADHD have bad attention spans so it's weird that you would talk so much in his art classes. But a lot of artists are not great teachers. It's hard to find like a good artist that actually teaches well. Out of like 10 art courses that I've taken, maybe three of them actually articulate well. Proko pretty good though
Idk bro maybe your friend learns differently and not all adhd people think and learn the same
@@MysteriousGhost378 I also have ADHD I get what my friend is saying I don't like when people like talk about something for like 3 hours and then they hardly teach you. Like I've had art courses where the lectures are not really doing anything. They're just like drawing and you're just watching them draw and they're like 3 hour long videos. I'd rather have video lessons that are like 40 minutes max preferably like 30 minutes and then they just tell you what to do. I guess it can be long lessons but as long as they give you like a handout sheet or something so you know what your practicing.
@@williammclean6594 well marks classes are pretty good imo but maybe they aren’t for you and I also dislike step by step art tutorials
@@MysteriousGhost378 I don't like step by step either. I just like homework handouts really because if it's a really long video you have to be taking notes constantly and then there's no direction if I don't have any direction. I don't learn anything. I need someone to tell me what to do.
I think Marcs yt videos is not as boring, but sometimes you need to get through boring stuff to learn 🤝
How do I know that I’m making a manga and not a comic? xD
If it follows technical conventions of manga, i.e. black and white pages. It's also how you design your page layouts and where you publish your work (in manga sites).
question tho what is that drawpad ur using?

3hr gang?
Yep, 3hr gang! 🔥
another tip, dont quit school/jobs to make manga,it is not guaranteed, not something you have a big influence over in the end product and its unpredictable. Basically you are going to have an extremely rude awakening when your manga gets 5 views and you still dont know where to even share it cause you dont speak any japanese 💀 stick to making some money to sustain yourself and continue doing it when you are financially stable,if it takes off, congratulations, you can now monetize your series, until then its all hopes and dreams baby. Best of luck to everyone

Lifehack: Learn how to use AI! It does 70% of the job. The rest you only need to learn graphic design
Hell nah, you clearly don't get the point of making manga
@@gakuseimuto the point is to bring stories to life. Whatever means necessary
A.I art is not REAL art nor is the finished “product” even a slight flex compared to people who actually put their time, effort and passion into their art. This goes the exact same for story writting, plot progression, cohesiveness, there’s so many things that while yes A.I can do, doesn’t mean it can replace bulk of the work for projects and art like this. If you just want to use AI for art make an Etsy and Printify store it’s half the work and you can make alright money
